I decided to take a chance on Mon Cheri when my regular manicurist from another salon was out of town for a few weeks. Upon arrival, I noticed that the place was small and felt a bit cramped. The lighting was dim but it seemed to be a part of the overall ambience. The place could use some sprucing up. When I was seated at my pedicure chair, I noticed quite a bit of dripping and staining on several of the pedicure stations that I was seated near. That said, I received stellar service from my manicurist, Vivian. She was attentive and did an excellent job on my feet and hands. In fact, she had my fingernails looking better than my regular manicurist! Needless to say I would rate Vivian a 10 and the shop a 5 because it could really use a good cleaning.

The WORST!!! came in on a Sunday, literally no one in the salon, the reception told me i had to wait 10 minutes and wasnt given an explanation, I sit down and wait 15 mins when a Hispanic almost white looking man walks in. They tell him to wash his hands and a lady walks up to him and takes him back to be serviced. I got up immediately and WALKED OUT! receptionist came running behind me and was saying we take you now... Told her absolutely NOT, how do you favor another customer services over me and when I get up and walk out now you want to do my nails.... Ha! No, I will take my $150 else where. Be advised that they are very funny style!

3 weeks later nd they still lasting gel polish

They use the same nail file for everyone, she just pull out a DIRTY AND OLD NAIL FILE from her drawer, also nail clipper was rusty, the place didn’t look clean at all, (pay attention to details ),usually I’m on my phone but this time I was paying attention and what she was doingthey should be more clean in the middle of a pandemicwork done was lame, no designs, to expensive for the quality of jobAfter all ladies working there were polite and nice

A bit pricey. I was charged $25 for my natural nails to be polished only. No manicure! Definitely not the greatest polish job.

There are two nail places in Springfield mall. This is the better one from my experience. Very clean. They line the pedicure tub with a new special bag for every customer. They use hot wax treatment for manicures and pedicures at no extra charge. Service is friendly and thorough. You get peppermint patties when you pay!! Must tip is cash. Free Wi-Fi!

Apple was great. She did my pedicure and my eyebrows. Definitely happy with the service. Seen as soon as I walked in. Only 10 people allowed in at a time during this pandemic.

I loved my nail tech Diane. I didnt want to say anything to not seem picky but she fixed my nail shape without having me to say anything and cleaned around the nails very well after the powder dip! Im very pleased by her work the professionalism and I have gotten many compliments on my nails! Definitely will be coming back for Diane. Also, the manger is very professional and caring she kept checking on every client to see if theyre doing okay! Thank you so much!

I had to go over my pedicure with an over coat because after inspecting the nail tech missed the sides and the area near the cuticle. The whole hovering to get their tips while you wait for your nails to dry are a turn off. I always too when Im about to leave but for her to just stare me down was unnecessary.I go to salons for the pamper aspect because I can do my nails at home professionally... I also never get manicures because I have long and healthy nails but every time I do they improperly file then which causes them to break. (nails are to be filed in one direction not back and forth)And until I find better I will continue to do so.Two stars because it wasnt a hole in the wall and clean.

I just got my pedicure and she didnt even soak my foot for a while to start the service and she didnt ask me what kind of service I wanted. the basic pedicure ended in less than 20mins. one star is not even worth it..

I wish they would’ve told me glitter is an extra five dollars BEFORE putting it on me. I wanted my nails long but she kept cutting them shorter and made me pay another extra five for my “long nails”. I’m not that mad about the shape but one nail is longer than the other so.. idk be careful with what you want and pay close attention to the bill

$40 (tip not included)for thick nails not even gel nails. As you can see I still had glue on my fingers. The lady wasn’t gentle at all, hurt me and I was in pain the next two days. Disappointed.

I love going to this place, they treat me like a family. Sometime I go here with my kids and the people here especially the owner are very generous with their snacks. I always look for Alisa bc she knows how I want my nails done! Happy customer for 2 years now!

I love this nail salon. I have never had to wait even on the busiest days. The prices are fair and the basic pedicure includes paraffin wax! I had the SNS dip done and my nails are going on almost 1 month and my nails still look great!

While my manicurist was wonderful, the manager was extremely rude and condescending. I had a manicure with regular nail polish on a Friday night. The very next day, the polish had cracked lines going through it. Every nail looked awful. So, I figured the polish was old and went back on Monday have a redo. The manager, loudly began making excuses about it, basically trying to explain to me the difference between gel and regular polish. I told her that I was 60 years old and had been polishing my nails since I was 5. I knew the difference between polish and gel and that no matter what, it should last longer than a night! She started yelling and asking why I said I was 60 years old. I told her because I wanted her to know that she didnt need to educate me on nail polish! I told her she was being rude to me and that I was a customer. She didnt care. She stormed of muttering in Vietnamese or Cambodian. The manicurist repainted my nails and was very sweet. The manager was awful and unprofessional. When a customer has a problem with service your shop provided, simply apologize and fix the problem. Thats it! No excuses. No rudeness. No attitude. Just politely fix the problem.

My 1st time getting coffin nails done was here. The nail techs are all really nice and honest...and by that I mean, for instance, if theyre not familiar with a certain requested technique, they wont try to learn on your hands; they will simply refer you to the expert in the salon who does.

I had a nice and relaxing time while I got my pedi. The hot wax was surprising but felt good after it cooled down. Great service. They offer drinks and snacks. I would definitely come back.

Was very skeptical at first because of all bad reviews but since I️ was going to the mall regardless I️ decided to give this place a try. I’m very picky and always want to see if they are doing a good job.I️ was surprised and so pleased with my manicurist she was clean she did an awesome job on my cuticle, color application and waxing. My sns broke early for the first time ever (usually it lasts 3 weeks) and even though I didnt have an appointment and had just stopped by to ask them what we could do, the girls took me right away and redid the whole Mani and only charged me for the color change. They took their time and are always very sweet. Plus this time there was a game going with prizes to win for the customers in the store which I thought was awesome. Love this place!

This was my first time getting my nails done here, the front desk girl was nice but the manicure technician was extremely rude. She skipped steps, took forever getting started, rushed the whole time, kept pushing gel nail polish when I specifically asked for simple white tips.They also use really cheap nail polish. I was told to wear gloves, which I do for work, but once I took the gloves off all the nail polish flaked off from condensation.

Perfectly fine pedicure. Liked that they line the tub w a bag so it is clean (but didnt notice any odd feel from it). Took me about 20m before the posted closing time and I was the last person they took (they put a sign on the desk) but didnt feel rushed.

The nail tech rushed through my pedicure and cut my foot in the process. The next morning it was getting infected.I dont feel much pain in my feet, but even for me this was a somewhat painful pedicure. Lots of digging, cutting and poking.She did one coat of color and no top coat. The nail polish was around the nail and wasnt wiped off.The one good thing was that my feet were soft afterwards.

Been going here for 3 1/2 years. Sat in a chair for 3.5 hours to finish service for a full set. After setting an appointment, Nail tech was an hour late! Hanna cut 4 of 10 fingers shaping. Takes forever to get service some days outside of appt.This particular day i asked for a specific special nail design so i removed a nice full nail set to get power for the design just to end up with Gel again!!! A waste of time and Money. Dont waste your time here!!!!

I got a spa pedicure here. My lady was nice but I went back to get ny toe nail polish fixed. It still looks like I painted them myself! :/ others noticed the crappy job!

I wanted a holographic nail color and the nail tech suggested which color to use. Turns out it wasnt holographic at all. I didnt have time for her to fix it so I went back the next day. She wasnt there but another tech told me they would change it but would charge me for a polish change. Very rude and passive. My nails look so awful and its sad that after paying $50 and leaving a $10 tip, I get treated this way. Would hope for better service. I will NEVER return.

The cleanest practices Ive seen to date. Equipment was autoclaved, etc.However, I dont know how they compute the prices. A mommy daughter Mani/pedi shouldnt cost $100! Especially if all you did was paint her fingernails. Im so confused.The prices on the website arent consistent with what is charged. Also customer service precustomer engagement is lacking. The no ability to respond to an email inquiry for an appointment should have been an indicator up front.Other than that a really clean store and friendly people.

I recently had a pedicure done at Mon Cheri. I have my usual location but it was outside of their hours so I decided to give this place a try. Lets just say worst mistake. I am currently on antibiotics for a PAINFUL INFECTION in my toe. I have never had any experience like this. After my pedicure I experienced some pain however the following few days I was not able to put any weight on my left foot. Eventually, the pain became so bad and my toe was discolored so I sought medical attention. I was immediately asked if i recently had a pedicure and where. I will never return to this location. You have to wonder if they are following temperature regulations and cleaning the tools properly. Be careful!

My favorite nail technician went to work here over a year ago and I am very pleased with my experience here - I have had regular manicures and pedicures as well as gel manicures and spa pedicures - they offer several variations on the spa pedicure. I have also had brow and lip waxing. The cleanliness is very good, and the selection of polishes is excellent -- almost all OPI colors are available in regular and gel formulas. I go back at least once a month and highly recommend it.

Charged me $38 for coffin full acrylic set. LET ME SAY I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THE PRICE OKAY ITS A LITTLE HIGH UP THERE SO IM GOING to BE EXPECTING What I pay which Is almost $40 for nails? The nail technician was nice, BUT the nails not so nice. The coffin shape was there but on the side you could see how unblended and hurried the job was. My nail was thick, and I mean it looked like I did the 100 layers of nail polish challenge. It was a complete mess not only that when she was using the machine to go over the acrylic she wasnt paying attention and my WHOLE FINGER went into the drill and made it do a 360. Maybe it was because she was to busy on what was going on with her phone she didnt mean to almost amputate my finger. She laughed it off so did I because I mean everyone makes mistakes right? No big deal. But for almost $40 it is. Please I beg you dont go here, your better off with ratchet plain nails.

Mon Cheri continues to provide great service. My partner and I make it a date night when we get our nails done.

I went the 24 to get my nails done I picked a design and I showed them but my nails don’t even look like the picture I showed them the shape of my nails are ugly and when I got home one of my nails broke the same day I got them done

I went there for a pedicure and ended up with a fungal infection on my right big toe . Was devasted, took 6 months of treatment to heal. Would not recommend this place . A bit too aggressive !!

It had nail polish variety and I was seen quickly. However, the service was very disappointing I honestly couldve done my nails myself. My nail technician was rude and made me feel uncomfortable. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Far from spa like feel. The manicurist rushed on my mani and pedi, she also had an attitude the entire time. Dont let me forget that she wanted to talk about herself during the entire service. She was rude and condescending. Go elsewhere, where your money is appreciated. They could careless about your experience and only worried about the money.

The worst, it didnt even last a day and one of the ladys cut my sister finger so bad! She was bleeding so much and was so rude to my sister, she got angry they didnt even finish doing her nails and when she refused to pay they called the cops on her! Ive gone before it and it was such a bad experienced over priced as well

I walked in for a gel manicure and deluxe pedicure treatment on weekday afternoon. I was seen quickly, and the technician was very pleasant. She didnt try to talk with me much (appreciated) and did a good job. Also the technicians talked with each other very quietly, and probably first time ever I didnt feel like theyre gossiping about customers. There is wifi available, the salon is very pleasant and well decorated. The only thing they lost a star for is that the front desk lady kept checking on my technician (asked how much longer is she gonna take, etc) which made her move faster and I felt very rushed through the manicure. Not nice when you come to spend a lot of money to relax a little.

Lets just say Ill never go again. My very first experience here was really good, Hanna did my nails and shes awesome but doesnt take appointments. The Second time Diane did my nails and she did really good job so I kept coming. The last three times I came were all bad experiences. The older lady did my SNS nails and they were absolutely horrible and sloppy. I mean really bad. The nails didnt last and I came back within a week. The owner fixed my nails but I didnt get a discount, such a shame bc I always tip. On top of that, Ive never paid less than $100 for everything. Anyway, when the owner did them they lasted but I wasnt happy bc they were so thick, not cute. I went again to give them another try and the lady doing my nails couldnt do anything. I wish I knew her name, she wears glasses. I wanted French tips, she couldnt do that. I showed another picture the owner said, thats ombré and a lot of work. They started showing other colors, that I didnt want. So I just got my nails soaked off with clear polish. I hated the way she shaped my nails, shes just not an expat doing nails. She was also very passive. I knew she was talking about me which is very rude, I was a loyal customer. (The main thing I hate about ALL nail salons, As soon as you want something they cant do or critique their work they start talking about you in their language..Thats not okay, its horrible customer service) Needless to say I went directly upstairs to the other nail salon and got what I wanted. Plus, they have a lot more SNS colors to choose from. This is the first time my nails dont look thick, other than when Hanna did my nails the first time at Moni Cheri. Also, Rachel accepts appointments. Ive been missing out. Now I can finally feel like Im getting my monies worth. Moni Cheri was really nice to my daughter and I most times and they are very clean but I was only happy with my nails two out of five times, which isnt acceptable.

This by far was the WORST pedicure EVER!!!!!!! If you do not want to do your job, let me know and I will get out of the chair. She rushed, skipped through steps and half ass’d everything else. When it was time to polish my nails, she tried to push a color on me because she didn’t give me the samples that I asked for prior to sitting down. If you do go to this place make sure you AVOID THE TECH CINDY!!!

This is a long review, but its my full experience explained with no sugar coating. Worth a read if you want an accurate opinion.It was terrible. I was looking for a new place to get my nails done, and it looked very nice and clean. First impression was very nice, however it only went downhill from there. I came in knowing that I wanted acrylic black tips. I told the girl that, and she let me know that they have color changing that they can do. I didnt ask for this, but I figured I would look anyways. I didnt really want to stray from my initial choice, but she just kept asking me about the colors. Finally I gave in and chose a blue/silver color. She starts doing things to my nails, and asks me to repeat which color, so I do. Then she starts showing me different colors, and I told her that Im not interested, Ill do the blue. She starts showing me MORE, and again I had to repeat that Ill take the blue. She finally accepts that and does more filing to my nails... only to tell me you know the black tips would look nice too. REALLY? that was exactly what I asked for to begin with! I told her I wanted ACRYLIC, and she starts asking about gels and gel tips. I said no, just acrylic. What does she do?, she paints my black tips with the GEL POLISH!! She was greedy and rude; she only cared about the money she would be taking from me. I got charged $50 for something that should have been $30, and I didnt have a say in it. Nobody helped me with pricing, they just started working and doing their thing, so I didnt find out til AFTER that I was overcharged by $20. Im only 18, Im not made of money. Anyhow, she also was terrible at performing the task of doing my nails. She took well over an hour to do them. I was with friends, and they both got acrylics done too, except they had intricate designs done to theirs, and they finished 10ish minutes before me, and I started 10 minutes before them! I was questioning whether or not this woman has ever done a set of nails before. She had to go back and fix mistakes SO many times because she couldnt do it correctly the first time. The gel polish, that I didnt ask for, wasnt drying correctly, and she kept asking if the UV lights were on. They were visibly on, I had said yes 5 times, and she blamed it on me saying I wasnt doing something right. She was very rude and had an attitude. I tried to adjust my arm, seeing as it was falling asleep, and it moved my hand a little bit, and she slapped my wrist and told me not to move. Then she told me I need to be more careful pulling my hands in and out of the lights, because youre going to mess it all up then I have to redo it.Overall, it was the crappiest experience I have ever had. The only time I plan to go back is to complain and try to get my money back that she stole from me. Very disappointed.

The nail tech was very rude and rushed doing my nails the set still looked really good and the next day i opened a door and one of my nails broke that should not happened after only having them for a day especially for the price !

Terrible experience. I received a gel manicure on 7/4 and by 7/5 my nails look terrible. It is the worse manicure I have ever received.

Terrible, terrible quality. My nails were left so thick and uneven such a waste of 45 dollars I feel like I taped pistachio shells to my figures and called it a day.

Waxing products ARE NOT Hypoallergenic.....My face is broken out terribly!

Made my toes bleed by pulling at the dead skin around my nail instead of clipping it. I was screaming out loud and she didnt stop. At the end she put me to sit at the nail dryer and did not apply a clear coat. It was a traumatic experience.
