I never leave reviews even when I dont feel satisfied with the service that Im paying for, but this time I feel like I received a horrible service. I had an appointment with with Allie Ellis. The whole time i felt like she was in a hurry trying get it done with and it made me feel like she didnt cared about the quality service that she was providing. She didnt followed the covid-19 precautions since she didnt had her mask up most of the time. When i expressed how I felt about how she was doing my cut and that Id like another hairdresser, she said that she would bring me one, but instead she brought someone so they could talk to me and she could continue with what she was doing. Ive never had a hairdresser that cuts my hair the way that she did or blow dried my hair. While she was blow drying my hair she was using her fingers to dry it and then at the top part she started using a brush. When she started ironing my hair she was taking huge sections till i told her that I didnt fwlt comfortable how she was doing my hair. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. Ive never had such a horrible customer service experience. Never going back to this place.

Love this place. Jessica does my hair with color and highlights and shes been doing my hair for about 3 or 4 years. She does an excellent job. Kameron does my nails and she is excellent as well. They offer many other cool services as well. I would recommend Innovations to everyone.

Ive been going to Eden to get waxed for years! Shes awesome!! She makes sure your comfortable and hair free! So if youre looking to get a great wax at a reasonable price, call and ask for Eden.

I tried to schedule online, which needed acceptance... which i never got u til I had to call to make sure I was good to go... the lady I talked to said the stylist was really bad about keeping track of her appointments, so when I got there They didnt wash my hair... did a dry cut, it was uneven and she said that she was losing her confidence, in which I tried to reassure her she was doing a good job because she was still cutting and i didnt want her to completely mess it up. I told her a few times i wanted some layers. When she was done I asked about the layers and she told me she didnt do them. So I asked again and she barely cut my hair for maybe a minute at most.. I felt like she was rushing through to get to the next customer who was early. The next day I was fixing my hair and had to have my boyfriend cut some of it that was a quarter of an inch longer than the rest. She was nice... but i wouldnt go back to her.

I get my lashes done by Christina at Innovations and she truly cares about her clients and their results and she does an amazing job. She will talk with you about your desired size, length, fullness and take her time and work with you until you get your desired result. I have been to so many lash techs in town before her and was always left wanting more from my experiences and was told my lashes just werent good enough to get the looks I wanted. Christina is different and continues to far exceed my expectations of what my lashes could ever look like. We are very lucky to have her here in Springfield, because she could easily be in a big city charging big bucks. Instead, she is here giving big city results at a small town price.

I have gone to innovations four times and every time they have had scheduling issues in which I was notProperly notified I live an hour away and it is a terrible inconvenience there are no apologies ‘“just your appointment is cancelled too bad” I am very disappointed with the level of unprofessional service this salon offers my second visit I was told I am not going to do that when I asked for a simple touch up to my color and roots do not waste your time here they are rude and do not care about keeping customers

I heard about this salon a long time ago from and friend and have been going for almost 5 years, the ladies (and at least one man I know of lol) are always welcoming and nice! I have been going to Allie to get my hair done this whole time. She is excellent and awesome, especially if you have ethnic hair, which is hard to find in a stylist in this region! They offer all kinds of services which honestly I have yet to use as I quite loyal to other people for other services. But I have always heard great things particularly about Tiffany, Michelle and Shelly! Obviously, I am partial to Allie, but Im sure the other hair stylists are wonderful!

I was time and money crunched for my elopement in June, I contacted Monica about getting my hair done, and she also referred me to Amanda for makeup. Both of these women were amazing, kind and thoughtful. They even helped me get into my dress because I didnt have any friends/family coming to the wedding. I cant say enough good things about them and everyone at the salon was exceptionally friendly. I will definitely be going back as often as I can!

Hair pretty much looked the same coming out as it did walking in. Not even after a week it turned all brassy which I told the stylist I did NOT want. The stylist was also probably the least friendliest Ive ever come across in the 14+ years Ive been getting my hair done but I understand that people have bad days. 2 stars because the other employees seemed really nice and pleasant, however I wont be returning.

Allie Ellis is amazing with color. She has been coloring my hair for the past 6 years. Fire engine red to an oil slick. The fade is just as beautiful as the original color. She is a true hair artist.

Definitely not one to complain but when it comes to investing your money somewhere and you think it’ll be worth it and it’s not, then I speak up.I went in last week to get eyelash extensions. On hour 3 of having them, 11 of the extensions fell off my right eye. Now, I know it’s semi normal to have a few fall off, but thought 11 was high up there.Luckily, I was able to get in the next morning and have the gal put in a few replacements on that right eye. Well, I’m on day 6 and my right eye looks night and day compared to the left. The lashes are falling out, sticking straight up, and laying all different directions. It’s clear that the right eye has probably double the amount of lashes than my left. I was truly hoping to go at least another week with these extensions on since she said it would last 2-3 weeks, but the appearance of them looks nasty and I’m only on day 6. This review wouldn’t have been written if I didn’t experience a lack of unsuccess from the very start. She tried to make it right, that I’m thankful for, but even after it was “made right”, it honestly was worse. Spend the extra $50 and go somewhere else, it’ll probably be worth it.

I have been a hair DIYer for years (Ive learned my lesson), but chose this joint on a whim because of its location. Ive found my gal (shoutout to Erika!) and now shes my hair go-to! Shes the best but everyone there is so friendly and fun. It makes a 5-hour color service go by a lot more quickly with the good company! This place is no frills, which I totally appreciate. No intimidating, overly modern, trendy, pretentious salon feel here. Just a great local salon with a down-to-earth feel. I believe each stylist sets their own prices, but Im not entirely sure. I know my services have always been reasonable. Highly recommend this place! 🙌

Bought a Group for Alllie Ellis. After several attempts via text and phone trying to make an appointment, she finally answered back on May 22. Scheduled a color for June 6th at 2 pm. Waited until the DAY OF my appointment to text me at 9 am to let me know that she has a broken foot and cannot work and has to cancel my appointment. I heard this has been an ongoing excuse for cancelling, and taking hours to fulfill appointments, complaining to customers and having to sit down for extended periods of time, making an hour appointment drag out for 2-3 hours. I took the day off work to get my hair done, but instead had to go through Groupon to get a refund. Why make appointments that you cannot fulfill? Bad business!

My mother has gone here and I recently started going to get pedis done by kamron. It is such a cool environment and such a different experience than any other salon I’ve been to. Kamron is so sweet and really takes the time that other places do not.

First time here. Happy they could get me right in. I went in for routine trim on my lightly layered hair. The girl that cut my hair was OBVIOUSLY brand new out of school. It was a nightmare. I have no clue how a trim could be so screwed up. There were a couple random wispy pieces that were my bottom layer. The rest of it was completely butchered too. I couldnt see my full head in the mirror so I had no clue until she was done. She had to get another woman to fix my hair and literally show her how to trim layers. If I wanted to get my hair done at a beauty school, I would have... No one apologized. I hadnt got my hair cut in 6 months, because I was growing it out, they ended up taking 3 inches total after fixing my hair. Thats 6 months worth of growing hair out... No one apologized! They didnt even give it to me for free... I got $10 off. So pissed. Every time I look in the mirror at my short hair, I feel pissed off all over again. No. No. No.

Ive been a client of Innovations for around 5 years now. Ive gotten my acrylic nails done bi-weekly plus other services such as pedicures, permanent makeup, waxing, spray tanning, massage, deep conditioning, and a variety of other services. Ive always had a fantastic experience at Innovations. If Ive had a problem with anything, the manager/owner has gone above and beyond to make it right. My mother also has had her acrylic nails done bi-weekly for the past 5 years and has enjoyed her positive experience. Speaking of acrylics, the way Michelle professionally applies them does little to NO damage to the nail bed or cuticle so its doing less harm to your real nail. Tiffany gives ahhhh-mazing, deep tissue massages and is an expert in speed waxing! Im also loving my permanent makeup done by owner Michelle. I highly recommend this salon to anyone! It truly is your go-to, hometown salon.

DO NOT! I REPEAT, DO NOT GO HERE. They charge you 100 dollars for eye lash extensions which you could do yourself at home. I was soo upset, she ripped me off. It isnt worth the money!! i promise you. After she did my lashes, it looked the same, looked messy and unorganized. Shes friendly yes, but started to act shady about the price. I told her that a piece was about to fall off and she shrugged it off, told me that it was suppose to be like that. I got home later to find out that a piece of lash had really fell off. SMH! I do not recommend this place to anyone whos wanting to do lash extensions.
