I have been going to Made Man for around 1 1/2 years. My main barber is Elle, who might I add is fantastic! There have been times when I drop in not scheduling an appointment and she has been booked up luckily I also have Adrian there who always steps up and does an AWESOME job! You cannot go wrong coming to these great establishment! They do the works there; Wash, cut, beard trim, line up, hot towel, wash again and style. It’s such a great experience I cannot praise these ladies enough on the hard work they put in.In regards to the bad review saying her fiancées neck was cut up, yeah I am not sure what she is talking about or how that happened but he had Adrian line it up and she has cut my hair, straight razored my neck and beard not ONCE did she cut me or anything like that. They use quality product to prep your skin and avoid any rash, etc. However, that reviewer was also late term pregnancy at the time so I won’t put her on blast. Just saying, the guy hadn’t had a haircut in quite some time and did in fact leave there happy and every time I spoke to him at work he thanked me for sending him there because he LOVED his haircut, and she did do a killer job. So good job Adrian!Oh! And the complimentary beer is a nice touch as well!P.S. Elle, do you have any appointment openings tomorrow? I need my ears lowered. 😁

Lannette has cut and styled my hair for seven years. I have never had a bad cut. She has always given me prompt and professional service. You cant find a better place to get your hair styled at a reasonable price. Why would you go anywhere else? I wont!!

Took the bf in for a well needed haircut. We could have free beer, root beer(on tap!), or water. They even had chilled glasses! The atmosphere was great. Adrian did an amazing job on his haircut and beard trim. And, I really do mean AMAZING. She made it very comfortable. He even got his beard trim for free for being a first time customer. Exceeded our expectations.

Worst barber shop in Springfield. Had an appointment and still had to wait 30 min to get in the chair. Went in to get my beard trimmed. The stylist can’t cut a straight line and had to leave before it was to far beyond repair. Ended up having to go home and fix it myself. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

My fiancée goes there for a cut, first time customer and leaves with his neck cut up! If your workers can’t use a straight razor correctly without cutting someone they shouldn’t have them at all! From his neck line there is a cut perfectly all the way across! How do you manage that?! Not to mention all the other tiny cuts below that where he doesn’t even have hair. Looks like someone just threw their cat on my mans neck and called it a day. Highly disappointed and will make sure he does not go back.

They offer free beer while you wait for your hair cut. You can get a wash, scissor cut, and wash for $20. Very nice and chatty ladies

Ive been coming here for over six months. I got my haircut from the owner. However, after trying to get in all month, she finally replied and said she was on vacation. I called to make an appointment up there with someone else, only to find out she was up there anyways. I asked when I could see her next. The receptionis said 2 weeks. I went to facebook and Im blocked form them too.Ive spent a lot of money, especially tips, with the owner up here. I cant beleive Ive been treated this rudely, especially as someone who helped support the business.

To the comment below, (Nini Rain)Just because you are upset with situation that occurred about “your mans” haircut, does not justify why you would take your anger and discontent on a phenomenal establishment that is Made Man Barber. If anything you should be taking you ridiculous episode out on his employer for they are the ones who made it mandatory that he cut his hair to appear as a professional employee.If you would understand that these reviews can harm the company’s reputation and in turn take good away from their families dinner table as bad reviews have a huge impact in today’s society. Again “your mans” should understand since he is in commission sales.If a straight razor was used and “sliced him open” he would have lost pints of blood.He hasn’t had a hair cut in years and with anything that has not been touched, especially skin, irritation will occur.To wrap this up, you should remove your comment because your episode has nothing to do with these highly skilled and professional barbers.You Also forgot to mention how much he liked the haircut as I was getting haircut simultaneously and chatted with him the whole time, and I quote “my girlfriend is cussing me out because I’m getting my haircut off but I don’t mind it because this is how I make a living.”

My nephew and I went in to get cut and Nora asked our names. We told her and she said it would be 30 minutes. My nephew got called and I waited for me to get called. But it didnt happen, finally I asked (a different girl behind the counter) do you have me scheduled? She looked and said no. I said I was supposed to be scheduled when we walked in. She said it will be 20 minutes. They didnt try to make it right, didnt attempt to hurry me in just acted like I didnt matter or like it wasnt their problem.

Been getting my hair cut here off and on for quite a while. Never disappointed.

Found Made Man with a google search for barber shops. Glad I did. They got me right in. Adrian did a great job. I will go back.

Ok but not worth the wait

I was outrage at the rude service, they were very unprofessional. The girl was busy with the receptionist looking at their phones and gossiping. When I tried to put in my opinion on how I wanted my boyfriend hair to look like she said “oh her opinions doesn’t matter,” to my face. Never going back. Unless you like to have rude women to tell you that your preference is inferior then go ahead! Made Men is the perfect place!!

Used to go to Too Hotties a long time ago all the time....then I moved to KC for a couple of years, then moved back to Springfield....in that 2 year time Too Hotties changed into Made Man and I didnt know it - so I decided to go to the new hotness in town which was Hudson Hawk. First time I went sucked, staff felt like they hated their job, no one was smiling. Second time I went they botched my hair and staff was still hating their life...so I decided to try Made Man - best choice I have made. Great staff, friendly, always a tidy cut, and free beer. 5/5 would recommend.

I walked out looking like a cancer patient going in for brain surgery. HUGE bald spot on the side of my head. Embarased to be seen in public. Run, do not look back, stay as far away from this joke of a hair salon.Regarding being hot? Lol, far from it. You couldnt drum up a ten if you combined all their scores between them.

This place is the only place I trust to cut my hair after moving back to here from California. Mikalah has been cutting my hair for a couple years now and I am dreading the day she decides to do something else.

When you walk into the shop theres a sign on the door that says PLEASE TIP THE GIRLS. The owner cut my hair and proceeded to talk about how she disliked her employees. When you leave the sign on the door says IF YOU DIDNT TIP DONT COME BACK. Extremly unprofessional!!! This Is the South Campbell location
