If you like refs yelling at you for having a conversation about a play then yeah, you can give the farm league more stars.. unruly refs are running this league into the ground. My husband was trying to explain to me a play that was not ruled in our favor and why it wasnt and the ref not only threaten to kick us out because we were talking about a call but also told us to button up our mouths Come on really?? Super uncalled for.

I would first like to say that this has always been a great park for my kids.. the lady that gave this place a 1 star rating (Lindsey Bennett) and others from this team followed the 16y/o ref after the game was proceeded to yell and call him names. THEN a grown woman in the group started running towards him like she was going to attack him until someone had to physically restrain her. This was 3rd grade flag football and her team won the game! I will pray for her and the others that felt good about going after a teenager walking to his car alone… shame on them.

The Facilities at the farm league and the other fields they use are very nice. Theyre expanding which is great. Scheduling was easy, even when adjustments had to be made because of weather. However the baseball program lacks umpires that have any competency in the game of baseball. Their lack of knowledge in the rules is almost comical its so bad. So if your someone that doesnt really care what goes on during the game youll do great here. If your someone who expects the people being paid to umpire the games actually know what theyre doing and look like they want to be there your going to be very frustrated.

Great baseball park, great fields, batting cages and snacks and drinks. My major heart burn is the lack of concrete side walks linking all fields. On a rainy day, you are walking through standing water and mud. If you all fix that, it be a top rated place.

Be very careful with this league. The coach assigned to my son’s basketball team had a violent criminal record, no kid on the team, just wanted to coach these kids for some reason. I brought it to the attention of Rob the owner and he couldn’t have cared less. Kept him as the coach. He only cares about money, not the well-being of the kids.Update since said owner replied: Well ladies and gentleman, see for yourself in these reviews that owner lacks customer service skills and that’s not just me saying that. (Keep scrolling) 👏🏼Also, I never requested he coach my son. (If you’d like I can post pictures of our emails confirming this. I have them all saved.) Yes he originally did coach my son last year when we were randomly assigned to a team he was coaching but after a while I began noticing my son’s fear of him and seeing his confidence plummet then witnessing him cuss at them during 2nd and last AAU game he played for them (I pulled him out mid tournament actually), I looked into his background and found a lot I did not know. When you assigned him to coach the team my son was in this season, I made you aware of the issue I had and asked you to move my son from his team and you insisted he wasn’t coaching the team and refused to move him. Only to find out you lied the entire time about removing him as the coach. And yes the team parents did YOU a favor by refunding me the money you should have for not providing the service I paid you for.But thank you showing everyone on google who is coming here to check reviews on your league exactly what they would have to deal with if they signed up.

Weve been playing softball with The Farm League for three seasons. Its very organized, parent run, and my daughter loves it!The field itself is versatile (softball, baseball, soccer) and is always kept in great shape.

Its a good place to play all these recreational sports but it could be great if people stop bringing there pets out there, you dont want to have to worry about falling or stepping in dog poop on football fields.

So we decided to register with them instead of our local league and I am not impressed. After registering we canceled because they did not give us all the information necessary. This would be my sons first year so we did not know the right questions to ask apparently. All they do is get you in touch with the other parents and set up the games the rest is up to you. Maybe this is the norm but we would have liked to have been informed before making our decision. Now that we have cancelled the same week we registered their policy is to keep 50% and also charge a $25 processing fee. Please consider all your options before registering with them.In response to the owner:We did read everything and we are not disputing the refund amount. Your customer service skills seem to be lacking because of your response to my post. Unfortunately we did not see anything that mentions it is a parent coached league and we would be responsible for contacting other parents to arrange practice times and locations. I put my review for people that are interested in your league that might not be familiar with the process. Thanks so much for your response.

Unless you are established or know someone in the league your child will be placed in a team with all the newcomers. Most of these flag football teams are established and have been playing together for years so good luck.

This was our first year our son played baseball and play for this league. Very disappointed in how things were conducted, and the way things were handled. A team we played in particular made the games stressful not only for coaches but the kids as well. I will not take part in a league that allows coaches/parents to yell angrily at other teams. Very disappointing. This was supposed to be something fun, learning experience this is very unfortunate.Response to owner:Yes here are things handled when you have a negative opinion(Also please note the kid wasn’t allowed to play in play offs because another team said he was older) one I would like to know how the other knew his birthday? Also the parents addressed their sons age when the league started noticing their kid was a little older than others and the league said it was fine to stay on the team. He played all season until the last team we played complained. Causing the league to email the parents saying he was unable to play in playoffs. Awful. It wasn’t until the league got enough complaints that they changed their mind. Hence my review BEfore the decision was changed. Not letting a kid play in playoffs kicking him off that shouldn’t even have been a decision . Then the owner can’t take any accountability.. Just handled unprofessionally.Note I have explained to them I wasn’t a parent yelling I was with me 3 year old watching the whole thing. Their tone points it I was. Shameful to accuse.AND No I wrote those reviews BEFORE ... when you told a kid he couldn’t play in playoffs .... another accusation

Before you sign your child up for basketball with this league and pay over $250 you should know they have SUPER TEAMS. SO IF ITS YOUR CHILD FIRST TIME PLAYING WITH THIS LEAGUE YOU MAY END UP ON THE TEAM WITH KIDS THAT HAVE NO EXPERIENCE!!!.

We decided to try this league. When trying something different from I-9. We should have stayed with I -9. They don’t properly train their umpires to make correct calls. We have to find places to practice on your own. Will never go back!

Our team played at The Farm League many seasons. Overall the experience is good. The complaints I have is the cover over the stands, they don’t block the sun appropriately, and when it rains forget about it. If it even as much as drizzled, the games were canceled, which caused a big issue one season we just couldn’t catch a break and they only had to give us one makeup game. It’s like they don’t want to mess up the fields in the rain?!? I’m not sure what the reasoning is for canceling games in the rain. At SKSA you play in the rain unless it’s lightning. The parking is an issue too. The concessions are nice, the bathrooms are usually clean. Definitely a nice park!

Place is a joke. They dont age check any kid, just use the honest system. Son played baseball and there where two select teams playing, and the rest of them had kids that where older than 7, like the league is supposed to be when you sign them up. Go to Tomball or Spring/Klein Little League if you want fair competition.
