I used to love going here for Kalvin. However, the last couple time I have been back...I am definitely not impressed. After today, I dont think I will come back. The lady who did my full set used the electric file and was trying to go too fast. In turn, she ended up going on my skin. It also fell out of her hands twice and rolled onto the bottom of my finger. The problem is, she didnt apologize.Meanwhile, the owner had no shoes on and was sitting with her feet propped up on the waiting table. Lastly, I asked for the nail picture and ended up with my pink nails. I highly doubt I will be back.

Van at Glen Lakes salon makes my dip nails perfect each time! They are thin, but durable and I work with my hands! And always lovely!

I was hesitant to go back after reading recent reviews because I heard there was new management, however, with everything going on with the coronavirus I decided to go ahead and give a local business a chance. Very glad that I did because I had a great experience. I had Lily, she was very sweet and stayed in conversation with me. I made an appointment, which I recommend you do, as soon as I walked in she was ready for me. I showed her a few inspiration pictures and she delivered! She even added her own little touch by including some free rhinestones. I will most definitely be back!

I used to love going here. Calvin and Amy were great. My nails always looked great and they were very friendly. I went in a week ago and found out it was under new ownership and that Amy and Calvin were no longer there. I didnt really want to make an appointment there, but I have not had any luck at other nail salons I have tried.When making my appointment I specifically asked if they had the liquid gel for my refill because that is one of the reasons I have been going there. I was told yes. I also asked if I could bring my own nail polish as Calvin always let me and again I was told yes. Then when I showed up the new owner told me that the liquid gel was no good for my nails (Calvin said it was the best and I have had no issues) and that the powder dip was the best for my nails. I said ok I guess I can try it, thats when I was told that the dip has its own color and I would not be able to use mine. I was also insulted when out of the blue she asked if I wanted her to clean up my eyebrows. Really, never were my eyebrows a topic of discussion.So after 20 min of back and forth I said no I want to use my nail polish like I asked and I would like to do a topcoat of the moon glitter that I always use. The reply I got was that they threw out all that stuff it was all dirty and sticky.Moral of this review is that I had an awful experience, they did not do what I asked (used powder gel not liquid), charged more than Calvin and Amy, said nothing nice about Calvin and Amy and how they did things, Talked about how the new owner was from the big city and new what was good...and for all that, less than 7 days later some of my nails have broke and others are not even attached to the fake powder. I have long nails that I was having the gel put on top of for strength. So now I keep getting dirt and debris stuck between my nail and the fake one. I am very unhappy and will not step foot in there again. I wish I new where Calvin and Amy went.

I went in for my appointment with Van and he was sick so I figured I’d give the owner, Lily, a try. While taking off my dip powder nails she was going very rough and fast with the drill. She went over my skin quite a few times. She then applied my gel nails, I originally wanted dip. She was going to charge me $10 extra to have white tips so I decided against it. I got gray coffin shaped nails and they turned out awful. My left pointer finger is more shaped like an almond than a coffin. While using the file to shape my nails I pulled my hands away a few times as she was being way to fast and rough and she left cuts on my fingers. She also left chunks of the gel underneath my nails.

I loved the way each employer made me feel special and very beautiful such a great job on my nail, toes and I got a wax for the first time and she was so soft and fast lol very net💯😍😊 I will from now on come here for sure.!

Didnt live up to the hype. I was intrigued by the great comments regarding the pedicures and also word of mouth. Its close to where I live and I was overdue for a pedicure. It is clean. Yes they use the tub covers. I too question the sanitization of the tools since they were sitting on a cart unwrapped. The deluxe pedicure is pretty much the same as everywhere else, but at $35 is a little more expensive. The description of the massage was long leg massage. I dont know what their definition of long is, but again its a pretty standard leg massage. I likely will not choose to go again because its about $5 more than anywhere else around.

Normally when I go to places I leave feeling very unsatisfied with my nails, but I decided to try getting nails for prom here. I left with an amazing set of acrylics and was SO HAPPY!!! I have already got a lot of compliments on them and had a great time at prom. I don’t know the name of the man who did my nails but thank you so much!

Top notch service, and very proffessional. I got a mani pedi from TC and was not disappointed. It was the best mani I ever recieved. For a regular manicure it lasted an entire week with no chips what so ever which is amazing considering my regular manicures only last a few days. The quality is the best around. This business is under new management since 6 months ago, and its important to support local businesses in these troubled times. You will be happy to choose this salon for all your hair and nail needs.

At least they put a lining in the pedicure bowl. I cant say for sure, but I dont think they sterilize the equipment they use on your nails. Also, I have had Gel manicures for years. They never lasted less than 2 weeks. Had a Gel manicure on a Wednesday for a special event on Saturday, on Saturday morning I had 2 chipped nails. Three days later, something is wrong with their Gel! The special event was out of town, and by the time I returned home and was able to go to the Salon I had 6 out of 10 nails chipped, and I was just a passenger in a car, what could I have done to m nails. Also, I was able to peel off the gel from 3 of my nails. Never before was I ever able to peel off any gel. $50 for a manicure and pedicure and to have this happen is unacceptable to me. Of course they would not give me a refund for the manicure. Needless to say I will not return.

My mom and I visited here yesterday - I got a salon pedicure, and she got a gel polish application. My pedicure is fantastic, and I don’t know the name of the young man who did it but it’s the best pedicure I’ve ever gotten. Calvin did my mom’s gel nails, and she can’t stop talking about how perfect they are and how great Calvin was. We are definitely going to be regular customers.

Great service, lovely staff and low prices.Had a pedicure with glitter polish, the nail tech, ooh forgotten his name, was brilliant. Gentle, patient and thorough. Theres no chance of germs or infection as the place is very clean and they use liners. I swore off nail salons after I got a nail infection - the tech cut down the sides of my toenails even though I told her not to and cut my toe making it bleed. But this place is completely opposite they ask before doing anything. Ab fab.

Amy did a fantastic job with my color and cut! My pedicure from Kenny was the best Ive ever had. The plastic lined pedicure foot soak impressed me as well as they focus on a clean environment. Nice people, great prices!

They have several nail techs that will do a great job. Sometimes they are overbooked, so you may have to wait 15-30 minutes. Best to try and schedule the first appt of the day with the tech you want, before they get backed up.They changed owners in October and I have been disappointed in their style. Looking for a new salon.

Went and had my hair done today . Amy was fast and efficient and pleasant. Felt like I knew her for years. Did exactly what I wanted . Will definitely go back . And price range was affordable. Thank you Amy !!!

I love getting my eyebrows done, but Im not crazy about the rest.

I dont like providing a small business less than a 5 & would normally prefer it to simply be that just wont go back there. If I went by my individual experience, Id be giving a 2. However, my sister & two nieces went while visiting & seemed to be pleased with this place. So it could just be the circumstances. I scheduled a 2pm a couple hours earlier this past Saturday. For some reason she said 2 or 2:30? I guess it should have been 2:30 b/c she was still servicing another lady. I sat in the nice chair waiting until approx 2:20. A couple others were getting their nails done while another was getting her hair done. A couple other women came in while I was there. During my pedicure, she asks if want the deluxe to which I said yes. Then before I knew it at 2:40ish, she said done!??? I was charged $35 & provided a $5 tip. Did she feel rushed because of the other two ladies waiting? One guy had began doing a pedicure for one of them. Is this her fault or the owners? I just feel jipped & slightly perturbed about it. I had gone to Houston for a couple years & found someone that loved going to. Before I left, had gone to one place a couple times & another once here in town. I need to find a good one in the area! Wouldve been nice if this one was better since is a minute from home. The place itself is very nice. Perhaps in time, theyll get more women. Im sure its difficult to build a staff for a new biz like this. After all, if there is not enough customers, a lot of these places will get away with paying less than minimum wage.

Since the new owners took over - quality of service is horrible and they are dishonest- ie: Telling your product is better than another one without bothering to tell you that it’s more expensive until it’s too late and you have to pay the billthey do not stand behind their product or service either

These people ruined my nails. I went in for a gel manicure and it burned the whole time the man was applying it. I went to another salon to have it removed after that bad experience. The girl who removed it said she had never seen such a bad job in the 2 years she had been doing nails. The gel was put on way too thick and she had to dremel it off.
