Not a hard sell, just very helpful. Ron came out and made sure we ordered the right products for our home. They installed our gas fireplace last year and we appreciated their professionalism then.

As the world adjusts with all the COVID-19 related changes, Ron Morris & Son business has had to adapt and adjust when providing their services. With that being said, they were able to still work my family into their schedule promptly. Two years ago, we replaced our central AC unit through them, and we now needed a new furnace(as it was nearly 40years old!) Now that COVID has me working from home, and kids home full time, they were in and out of here by lunch leaving me with a very clean and smooth running Furnace. When we were looking to put in air conditioning I came to Ron Morris because our experience with Alex had been so good 13 years ago when we were looking for a gas fireplace insert. It still works great. I had an idea about what kind of system we wanted, but Ron came out and gave me a better idea that is much more efficient for the same cost. Michael, Gabe, Brandon, and Ken are very efficient and polite. They did a nice job of protecting the home’s interior as well. Alex is still a master at patiently explaining all the options and friendly Sondra keeps everything running efficiently. After a week when we discovered we were getting a little less airflow to one room than we wanted, Ron had the crew come right out without question and make the necessary adjustments at no cost. I’m writing this as I’m sitting inside at a comfortable 73° as it’s in the upper 90s outside with smoke from the fires in the air. Thanks again Ron.

The lady that answered my call was very rude and kept cutting me off as I asked a question if she knew how many days does she thinks they are behind since she said she does not know when because they are several days busy. Very poor customer service.
We needed our 22 year old gas fireplace repaired and were told by multiple places it was too old and parts were no longer available. Thankfully Ron Morris & Sons were able to procure the needed part for us. Their technician was able to fix the fireplace and then realized that it wasnt drafting properly. He went up on the roof and found that the inner pipe was no longer attached and had fallen down inside so he then reattached it. He not only cleaned everything, but he refurbished the fireplace and made it look new. We are extremely satisfied and would highly recommend this company. They could have sold us a new fireplace like everyone else told us we were going to have to do but they didnt. They saved us about $3000 by fixing instead of replacing. Thank you.

We needed service on our fireplace. They came when they said they would and after checking the fireplace and taking care of the problem they also checked our furnace. They were prompt, courteous and knew what they were doing. They cleaned up after themselves and respected our home. I would call them again and would highly recommend them.On January 2, our hot water heater blew up. Call and they were closed until Jan. 6 but gave an emergency number to call. I call and they had a repairman, Mike, out that afternoon with a new heater. By dinner time we had a new hot water heater installed and had hot water again. We really appreciated their fast and friendly service. You folks are the best.

Our hot water heater sprung a large leak which we discovered Sunday night of 4th of July weekend. I called the after hours emergency phone number and with a few phone calls were assured we would be taken care of the following day. We had a service technician here and water heaters delivered at 8:30 Monday morning. Unbelievable service which we so appreciated! What could have ruined a long weekend was taken care of in the most efficient timely manner. Thank you!!

The technician contacted me and took the time to explain what had happened and my options. Figuring it would take a week or two to get to, they had it done in two days. Not only was I impressed, but my tenants were as well. I have used them for other heating and air conditioning needs on my own home and will continue to do so. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work done.

100% agree with all the other negative comments. Ron himself seemed to be okay but the gals running his office are terrible. I told them I could not take off work to come in and pick up the bid. They obviously want to force you into their store. Asked her to email it to me. The gal told me their fax machine was broken. I asked her to mail it and she said she would. A week later I still hadnt received it so I called back three days in a row and each time was told that Ron would personally call me back. Never happened! Called back again today the gal said my bid had been sitting in their office for the past week and when was I going to come pick it up. Told her the story and she put me on hold until I finally hung up.If Mr. Morris is smart he will get an entire new office staff.

I completely agree with Jennifer, Kendra and other negative reviewers. I suspect the positive reviews are rigged! Alex, for one, is extremely rude and his reputation about town precedes itself. Stay away from these folks, unless you enjoy getting treated like dirt. There are way more honorable businesses out there...
If i could give this place zero stars i would. i was given their name as a referral and called them to hook up a gas line to an outside barbecue and eventual fire place. We were told we needed to know what we were interested in for the fireplace so that they could install a large enough pipe. We had to take work off more than once to go into their physical store which was a pain.For two weeks I tried to schedule an appointment and was finally told that we would have to purchase a fireplace from them before they would do any of the work. I was shocked at the misinformation i received and how hard I (the customer) had to work to get this done. i finally talked to Ron himself and was trying to decide which fireplace we were interested in. he told me he would call me back and give me a price quote on the different burners. i received no phone call and called them the next day. i was informed by the woman that answered the phone they were not interested in our business.To say I was shocked was an understatement. I cant believe how awful their customer service is and I have never been treated so poorly by a company that I am going to pay to preform a service. and have no idea how this place stays in business. They jerked us along for two weeks and in the end they decided they didnt want to perform the job. I have seen their BBB reviews and it sounds like we are not the only ones with customer service complaints. I should have done my research before contacting this company and i will make sure that everyone I know goes elsewhere.

I wouldnt go anywhere else for all of my HVAC / Fireplace needs!I recently needed an inspection done with a quick turnaround and their schedule was booked. Sondra (owner) took my phone call and immediately started to brainstorm how we could get it done. The owner Ron, Sondras husband, decided to do the inspection himself on top of the regular schedule.Bottom line: I was treated like family. Now, thats exactly what I expect from all family owned small businesses, which probably isnt fair. Oh well...they set the standard.
Had a very, very bad experience with the secretary who I believe is the bosss wife. I have never been treated so rudely in all my life. It was a nightmare and I still shudder when I drive by their business. It is an experience I will NEVER forget. (Note, this experience was a couple of years ago, but still remains fresh in my mind!)

Worst customer service EVER! I called them to service my furnace which was not working. The lady who answered the phone was beyond rude. I cannot believe that they have someone like her answering the phone. She shared that they were inundated with calls...which I understand...but setting zero expectations on when they could help me and then berate me when I called for follow-up is unacceptable. I will take my business elsewhere and recommend to ANYONE that asks me to avoid them in the future.
I purchased a pellet stove from Alex. They were very helpful and had the best price in town. The first unit was damaged from shipping. They got a brand new unit for me to replace the damaged unit. Ron Morris was also 1000.00 cheaper than the dealer in Hayden. Thanks again.

This is the worst place to work! The non-existent amount of compassion and understanding that the ownerss wife shows is disgusting. All I did was try to do exactly what she told me to do but nothing was good enough. Yes, I needed a refreshment on things since I havent had an office job in 3 years and I only had this job for 3 weeks. But everyday she would tell me that I was going to fail and that our personalities might not mix. So one day I told her that maybe she was right, that our personalities dont mix. A week after this convo, I got fired the day after I called and asked (for the first time) if I could have ONE DAY OFF to grieve the loss of my father in law that I witnessed taking his last breathe on Earth. She said she was letting me go because I told her I couldnt work with her. This is not true, I did not just come out and say that, all I did was agree with what she was telling me. And if this truly was the case, why did it take her a week to fire me, why was it okay for her to say this but when I agreed, Im out of line and why was it the day after I asked for one day to grieve? If you ask me, she is heartless and only cares about money, not her staff. All these reviews about horrible customer service is accurate but when she reads them, she laughs and only puts the blame on the person who wrote the review. She takes no responsibility for how rude she is on the phone. Tells distributors that they need to grow a pair and maybe they shouldnt be a manager. She has even called customers stupid when they have called for service.She sickens me!
