I recently brought my car in for a state inspection. The whole process took about 30 minutes. Each employee I interacted with was very professional and friendly. The waiting room was comfortable and spotless. I highly recommend this Jiffy Lube.

I am typically not a jiffy lube customer. But I needed an oil change and my usual venue couldnt take me for 2 weeks. Jiffy lube had the correct oil for my diesel. One of the other quick lubes didnt have correct oil.

Good service and info on your vehicle was my original review but after a day. I found out they never did an oil change and left the oil ca lose and I had to pay500$ for the damage....I cant believe anyone would do such thing

Trevor, an employee, told me he could not take my truck in for an oil change because there was a clicking noise. I informed his that noise is from my radiator fan as it was damaged. He still wouldnt take it and was cursing at me for asking questions. Highly unprofessional and disrespect staff.

The Jiffy Lube in SOUTH Portland is GREAT. They are all super friendly and helpful! Sadly the same cannot be said about the Riverside St location in Portland. I drive several miles out of my way to see the guys in SoPo now!

All the guys are extremely professional and stand up dudes. They’ve helped me out numerous times and at fair prices. Also anything that they couldn’t do they sent me to some quality mechanics as well. I will continue to do business with them with all my vehicles and my Fiancé’s vehicle as well. Wasn’t too professional. Wicked attitude when guiding/waving me in the garage, three my plastic engine cover right on the ground and was careless with closing the hood. Pretty sure my car got dinged too from the window scrubber, which again was being used carelessly. Other than that, everything got done that needed to I suppose.

I also had a state inspection done. Employees were polite and professional. The business was clean.

I have been to this Jiffy Lube location a few times and I have always left feeling really good about my decision to have my car serviced here. I usually am having an oil change, or coolant checked and this last time was an oil change and a dead mouse removal! Everyone on staff has always been professional, respectful, knowledgeable and quick!

Quick service and honest diagnoses. Good value and good coupons online for this location. This location does sticker inspections as of the date of this review, but call ahead for availability.

Courteous, thorough, not cheap but still feels worth it. Not by appointment, you just drive up and wait in line with your car, so unpredictable how long you would wait. I waited about 45 mins.

I ended up needing to have my vehicle towed out of the South Portland Jiffy Lube parking lot after having them service my vehicle the assistant manager told me I had a radiator hose leak after having them perform a coolant flush on my truck. The assistant manager told me he could replace the radiator hose but I would have to pay him cash on the side cause jiffy lube doesnt cover replacing radiator hoses I declined his offer and had my truck towed to a certified mechanic who I will have inspect and maintenance my truck so I feel safe driving it.

Recently moved to S. Portland from NH, had been using Jiffy Lube in Hampton for years- awesome service there!!! As with moving to a new state, and not knowing the local businesses, I was a little apprehensive of going to a new Jiffy Lube- but from the get-go this location is great!! My first time there I found them to not be intimidating, very friendly, very thorough and sincere- even though I showed up toward the end of their day. I brought my car in today for the second time- I am still super impressed! I absolutely love the fact that they open doors for you- and from the moment you pull up, you feel taken care of. They don’t half-ass it. They are super nice, and I had awesome service yet again. I also liked that the place was busy! I take that as a good sign- there were quite a few vehicles getting serviced and every interaction I witnessed between the staff and other customers was great and really professional. I left feeling comfortable and confident in their services. I also SUPER appreciate the fact that they have in their computer system, how to pronounce my name. I have a really unique name and the staff at the Hampton location put in their computers how to pronounce my name- it pops up on the screen every time I go. It still pops up at the S. Portland location, and it’s such a small thing but that level of personalization is really pretty cool.Definite recommendations for this location- love them!

Crew was polite and professional. I told them I only needed an oil and oil filter change and that I had already filled up my windshield washer fluid. I did not want them to put any in, but when they went over their points check list, they mentioned that they topped off the windshield washer fluid. I told them, I dont know how that is possible as I just filled it full this morning. Their response was thats just what we doOn that note, I think that I will be doing the oil changes on my own from now on, for as long as I am able to. Customer beware

I paid $90 bucks for a synthetic oil change package, which included cleaning the windows and vacuuming the floor. It was pretty fast. There was still bird poop on my windows and they didnt vacuum. It makes me wonder what else they didnt do.

There has yet to be an occasion when I have been less than delighted to walk in to this store. Previously, the manager (a young blond man) made customer service his biggest priority. Chris, whos been the manager for a while now, hasnt failed to live up to his reputation. Today I had a conversation in the waiting room with someone who was visiting the area and he talked about how happy he was with the service. I cant say enough. I left and went to lunch talking about it with a friend, she also goes to this location and had the same reviews. Best OIL CHANGE EVER!

Normally when you go to a mechanic you have to clean your car afterwards because they get it so dirty. At jiffy lube, they leave it looking cleaner than before on the inside and outside. At first the price seemed high but i appreciate the additional service.

My wife brought my daughters 2000 Honda Civic in for an inspection sticker. We were afraid an unscrupulous garage would try to take advantage of her. The car is in good condition, as I do the majority of repairs on it. My wife waited her turn behind other customers who were denied stickers and then suggested they have repairs performed on their cars In order to pass inspection. She thought at that point that she should walk out but went ahead with the inspection anyway. As she suspected they trumped up a failing report saying the front passenger side brake rotor had rust and she needed a brake job. She was told the inside surface had rust on it and that meant the brake pad wasnt making contact with the rotor. I spoke over the phone with Joe the mechanic and told him that I installed new pads less than a year ago. Joe changed his tune a little bit to now say that less than 50% of the rotor was rusted. When I checked that rotor I found a ridge on the outer edge and inner edge (like the driver side) where the rotor had rust because the pad is not as wide as the rotor. I am a mechanic and this is very common. In fact it was like that when Jiffy Lube inspected the car the previous year. I brought the car back the next day and had Joe show me what he found. Talk about splitting hairs! At this point Joe wasnt going to budge on his decision what so ever. I felt it was now a matter his power trip.Jiffy Lube is an unethical business that cannot be trusted. They drum up needless repairs to unsuspecting customers. I would not put an unsafe vehicle on the road especially with my daughters driving it. Find a garage you can trust. Unfortunately, I perform all repairs on our six vehicles and repair shops like Jiffy Lube dont want to just inspect vehicles. They want the money for repairs, whether theyre necessary or not.DO NOT TRUST SOUTH PORTLAND JIFFY LUBE, there are plenty of other shops to choose from.

$65 !!!Called to find the price. All cars now use a synthetic blend (semi-synthetic). They were going to charge $65 for their oil change. Prompto which is right around the corner does the exact same oil change for $35. All services were identical. Just Jiffy was double the price. I asked “what makes your oil change worth $65?” His answer was...”I dont know.”

Overcharged for oil change on our road trip across country. Technicians didnt complete the task I asked them to so we were overcharged.

Great service, had oil changed,they even done more then expected for free. Vacuum my car out, cleaned my windows, added window wash, and rounded of other fluid for the car.even checked my tire pressure. Great people, great service.

Today I took my vehicle to this location for service which included getting an inspection and replacing my rear brake light. After trying to pry the lens cover off with a flat headed screwdriver, a large piece broke off and the technician came in and informed me that the lens cover was broken and that I had brought it in this way despite me being 5 feet away and watching it happen.Following my service, I asked the manager if there was a discount for them breaking my tail lens cover and he responded...I gave you the light bulb for free.... Usually its $9.99 What a joke this place is and will file a complaint with the company.

Unfortunately, there have been major changes to our local Jiffy Lube. The customer service is atrocious. The attendants are rude, always trying to sell something, and do a poor job. In the past, I was so impressed with the customer service. Now, I would go ANYWHERE else for my oil changes and have informed my friends do to the same. Plus, their prices have gone up! I was a 20 year customer; so very disappointing!

This place drives customers away.!!...their inspection guy fails people on purpose... stopped in for an inspection.. on my 2018 truck... guy said I had a trouble code... but no check engine light on my dash...what an idiot...went down the street and got the inspection and oil change there.. I told the master mechanic what the Jiffy lube guy said and he told me they do stupid things like that all the time and probably shouldnt even be changing oil !! Anyway another customer had a similar story about the same Jiffy Lube and their inspection guy !! Lol...stay away from this one !

You know I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for almost 15 20 years and when I got my last oil change which is about 3 days ago I met with bad poor terrible customer service and my car wasnt making this noise when I went in because they took the filters out when I leave is the big cranking noise coming from my blower motor for the heat I went back and there was a line of people and as I explained to them some of them were my friends and I told him what happened they walked out and I walked out I am going to try Monday to go to the Biddeford one I am very interested and how theyre going to treat me good used to be those guys knew me they called my name mr. Jones when I walked in and they gave me excellent excellent service I dont know about that one in South Portland Ill never go back again I think Im going to try prompto and be there regular customers because they have treated me good but it used to be that Jiffy Lube gave the great service with the smile and the cleanliness and everything bad attitude

I have tried this jiffy lube a few times over the years and every time i go for an inspection they tell me something ridiculous that I need on a well maintained late model car. A few years ago i had a rip in the seat! Today, i brought in my car which I bought from my dad in Florida 5 years ago which I maintain meticulously for an inspection and oil change. I figured, mistakenly, that they must be better now. They asked for my registration for the inspection. pulled it in drained the oil then said they needed a tint certificate for the window tinting, whaaaa, never in five years have i heard of this, my dad had it done in Florida, guy tells me how he could lose his licenses by passing me....ahhh could have told me this when you pulled the car in the bay as the tint is OBVIOUS! You would never get a licenses for customer service after making me wait 45 min then draining the oil and ...oh yea,, you have tint on your windows. I hate these guys, my family hates these guys and you should hate these guys. Somebody should have opened a nice pizza shop in this space many years ago. I cant believe it. this time I mean it. NEVER again!! And believe it or not it is hard to get me upset!

Tried to sell me 2 brake lights that we decided to replace ourselves - after buying them - for 1/3 the price here - we discovered we didnt need them. Reported to manager but he didnt explain satisfactorily - never again! BEWARE.

I asked for them to check all fluids, they stated that all were up and correct. Left the shop and made it about 3 miles when my transfer case let go. Upon inspection found NO oil in the case. Explain to me how they checked it, because they didnt. I cant stand liars. When I contacted them, Dave the manager, stated later that there was nothing he could do. At the very least they should give back the sum of money i paid for the work. DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR VEHICLE ON THE ROAD!

After a 30 minute wait with only 1 car in front of me they tried telling me my truck requires synthetic oil. When I flat out said no, it does not. The tech said, yes it does. Its recommended by the manufacturer. I guess at Jiffy Lube, the word recommended and required are the same thing. After I refused to put it in they magically didn’t have the oil that my Silverado needed because everyone knows Chevy Silverado’s need that special oil derived from Unicorn blood. Lastly, they’re more expensive than Promto and much slower. Moral of the story, go to Promto instead of here.

Dont be tempted by the No Appointment Necessary Inspection -- they failed two legit vehicles (dont ask me why I went there AGAIN) on idiotic things like bad tachometer and they didnt like the sound of the muffler. Go here and theyll probably fail you if they dont like the music on your radio.
