I went in with no issues with my feet and this is two days later. The gal who gave me a pedi tore part of my nail down words my toe began to bleed in the salon now this is what it looks like I can even wear my shoes absolutely terrible.

Wonderful place to get nails done. The staff is very professional and friendly. I have always been pleased with their services. I have been coming here for two years. They are also very accommodating in their scheduling.

The $45 nail job was very poor quality. Rough edges, sloppy flower, uneven gel. Yet I wouldn’t give them a bad review just for that. We asked for a refund or even partial refund and were so surprised at how the owner Henry reacted. He was so mean and criticized my younger 14 year old sister making her feel really uncomfortable. He wouldn’t even look at the nail job! He seems to only care about money and not quality.The place itself had the worker’s child running around with a pet, very unprofessional.I never write reviews but I am so grateful for this platform so I can warn people so they don’t have to go through what we went through. Don’t go there. Not a happy atmosphere. You will be disappointed.

My daughters and I have been coming here for the past 8 years. I have never had a bad experience. The pedicures are amazing!! And my fingernails are always shaped to perfection. The owners are great people, and have always made me feel like I am important to them. I highly recommend.

I am extremely disappointed and upset at the service I received. I booked an appointment in advance online, when I showed up I showed them pictures of what I was wanting and that this was for my wedding. I waited 20 minutes and when I asked how much longer of a wait I was given a lot of attitude snapping back “2 minutes!”. I don’t show my emotions in public, and I am understanding of wait times. There were 2 of the 3 workers just sitting and only one customer in there and they continued to sit on their phones. The service made me cry. Once I sat down the other lady took my hands and started cutting my nails completely after growing them out for a month and half. There was more attitude and I showed this women the pictures again asking if she could do it for me, now it’s been 30 minutes and she said to go somewhere else. All I wanted was acrylic French tips for my wedding thats in a few days.bAs a customer who tips well for services and treats employees with respect I was not shown that. I feel extremely disrespected to the point I would write a review, and I’ve never written one on any business ever.

I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while here. Appointments are easy to make and they keep them on time. The salon is nice and clean and very organized. They are always updating their inventory so they keep the latest products and colors available. I highly recommend 5-Star.

I booked an appointment online with my username and account. Their sight wouldnt let me apply my rewards i have earned using my online account towards my $25 Pedicure. Then, when i arrive, i couldnt use the QR Code to sign in at their counter. They claimed they had never seen me before. At checkout i was charged $35 for my Pedicure!!! and I couldnt use my rewards at this point either. Needless to say, i will NEVER RETURN even though ive been a customer for years. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Great place, fast, friendly and great pedicure

Loved getting my nails done by one of the owners however the pedicure was not good. The girl was rushing and ripping at my toes not to mention she cut skin around the top of both of my toes and one of them is infected. I was under the impression that this place was very clean however the infection in my toe says otherwise. My toe has never hurt so bad. I would not recommend.

I have been going here for a while and I truly love it here. You can book online or call in and someone will always answer. I’m greeted so kindly and am really taken care of. I love getting pedicures here and there are no harsh fumes in the salon. Everyone there really strives to make sure you have a good experience. This is the go to!

I came in not really knowing what I wanted for color and Gabriel gave me multiple ideas and then did nails I’ve only dreamt of! I am so in love with them!!! Such a weird experience. The first lady trimmed my nails. The trimmers were dull and instead of cutting she pulled the skin off and got too deep on my big toes. Then a guy put on lotion and a message and then a second lady came over and trimmed again. When I told her to stop she was digging at my right big toe again, she ignored me and said let me just get this. The two of them caused sever injury which I have taken a picture of. Then when I checked out the guy said. $30. I said does that include the tip and he said No. The website says $25 but he charged me $30. I will never return as they do not know what they are doing. I have included a picture of the injury to my right big toes. I recommend everyone stay as far away as possible from this place.

I love getting my nails done at 5-star nails. They are very friendly and care about their clients. I have gone to the salon for over six years. I recently moved and tried one closer to my home but it was a disaster so I’m coming back! See you this week

I love this place! Henry always greets me with a warm smile and a bottle of water. Lin does an excellent job on my nails every time. I get a french tip shellac and She does a great job. They always go out of their way to make sure I have a positive experience. I would definitely recommend them.

I got married on Saturday and came here in the morning to get my fingernails done for the wedding. The lady who did my nails was amazing! She took her time to make sure my nails were perfect! I left in awe with how pretty they looked and the design she did on both ring fingers were beautiful! I will definitely be coming back here!

Ive had good experiences here before I switched to Bells nails. I really needed a pedi today and Bells nails was busy so decided to come here and my experience today made me realize Ill never come here again. Seriously, the lady cut my big toe nail so short it hurt and was red. For some reason three different people worked on my toes instead of just one person and Im not sure the massage I got could even be considered a massage. It was more like 20 seconds worth of running a small amount of lotion into my legs. They werent even busy.

Went with a group of people and 5 kids they are asnweome. Gabriel did a design called sunny side egg and upside down egg. It was our first time and we will be back for sure. Very happy.

We went to star nails for my little girls birthday party and we were not impressed. I dont normally write reviews but they were terrible with the kids.. my other daughter was in tears because the owner was so short with her..She is 4. He obviously has no experience with kids and no patience. He was very rude to the kids and rushed all of us out the door. I called five days in advance to let them know we would be having the party there and he stated he would call me back but never did. He acted surprised to see us there and acted like we were a huge inconvenience to him. I have been here several times with my sisters for girls night out and we have always had a good experience but this time with the kids was different and I will not be going back; not even for girls night out.

Lynn is amazing, with pedicures & people. But some of the other techs arent worth your time. Unorganized. PUSHY, rude and dont take no for an answer. Make and appointment? Youll have to wait anyway. Some things over priced.They get the job done well, but if you say no to their up sale they give you the silent treatment the rest of the appointment.I wanted a Manicure, the young tech tried to up sell me to acrylics & etc repeatedly; I declined . After that she cut and painted my nails and charged me 34$. No lotion, no hand rub, nothing. Waste of money, I could have done that crap job at home for free. ASK for Lynn! Shes honest, kind, remembers who you are and does things right with out an attitude.

Very disappointed in our experience. For the deluxe pedicure, I expect to be pampered and relaxed for at least 30-45 minutes. Instead, our 3 pedicures were rushed and by no means relaxing. The best part of a pedicure for me is the massage as well as the hot rock treatment. When I called to make our 3 adult, 2 children pedicures, I specifically asked if they did the hot rock treatment with the deluxe pedicure and was told yes they did. The chairs for the girls (3 and 5) were darling, but they hardly received pedicures. They soaked their feet and received nail polish on their hands and feet, that was it! For $30 a child, I most defiinitely expect them to be pampered as well. All in all, our bill was 150, without gratuity. Ill never make the mistake of wasting my time and money here again. This was a Christmas present to the girls in my family and it turned out to be an embarrassment due to the poor service, lack of treatment and ridiculous prices for what we received. And my massage chair was broken as well, which they were aware of, but made no attempt to remedy the problem.

This used to be our go to place. But after the 3rd bad experience I am finding a new place. Not only was it so rushed they literally had NO ONE in the store to even justify rushing. They rushed us, hurt us (our toes, duh) and didn’t even give us the option for what kind of pedicure. The ground was soaking wet and the employees were rude, almost like they were mad we were there! 5 star? Nah.

The beautiful, cleaned, friendly and the best nails care in town including waxing. I went in to Star Nails for the first time this week and at first I was impressed but then it came time to paint my nails and I wasnt even asked what color I wanted and when I did say that I wanted glitter she put the most sheer coat on top and didnt ask the color of glitter I wanted either. I went in yesterday to have more GEL glitter added and got regular clumpy nail polish glitter that I absolutely hated so I just smiled after they dried and left. I took off the awful glitter today because I hated it so much. Next time Ill just have them do the stiletto shape and gel them myself.

Have been a customer for years, Lin and Henry are Awesome and always so friendly. I will continue to keep going back. Love this place!

Went here for the first time today, I was super impressed. All of them were friendly to me and my 4 year old son who I brought along, I also love my pedicure.

Awful job but the brother was nice. The sister kept yelling at him then when i was done they were not the same length at all the gel started peeling the next day. I ended up paying more to have them off and done again some place else. Every color and design i showed them didnt have or could not do so i also settled to. Dont go here or took 2 1/2 hrs just to have to go another place 2 days after and start over.

Went in for a full set just before Christmas, and I went because of all the great reviews and the prices. But honestly Im not going back! I went in and asked for a full set and the man at the front directed me to these nail displays to choose my color, I picked my color and sat down, but soon found out that the color I had chosen was for the glitter nails, not a nail polish and that the actual nail polishes were hidden in the back where you couldnt see them unless you specifically asked at least twice! So I got my nails done and they looked beautiful and I loved them. Then just before New Years (Not even a week later) I buckled my seat belt in my car and my nail on my thumb just broke right off!! A couple days later half of my nail on the other thumb brakes off. Then the rest of it broke off the next day! I asked my mom about it (She has been getting her nails done for over 20 years) and she said she had never heard of the nails just breaking off! I am getting a fill very soon and I will not be going to this salon ever again!

My great grandma her and I had a marvelous time and the natural products are nice. We were very happy with everything. We will be going back.

Ive been trying to find a nail place for the last couple of months, where I havent been really enthusiastic about it before. I came to this place on the recommendation of a couple of my family members. I got a mani/pedi in gel nails. I dont like regular nail polish, so I always go gel. They started me out with a pedicure, sat me down, made sure the temp of the water was okay and everything. For the most part, it was fine. When they got to taking off my nail polish, the lady literally ripped the gel off of my toes with clippers. I may not frequent nail salons, but I know that doing that is really terrible for your nails. She finished cleaning up my feet, then started trying to rip off the gel on my fingers. It felt like she was trying to rip off my nail, too. When she couldnt get the gel off my fingers that way, they switched people and the new lady started painting my toes. Then they pulled me over to a table to do my fingers. I sat with that solution on my nails to get the gel off for about 5-7 minutes, then the lady came back and took it off my fingers. Then she actually scraped the rest of my polish off. She finished doing my nails, and when she filed them toward the end, she didnt even clean off the white powder stuff that comes from filing them. It got under my nails and was really gross. In the end, while my nails looked nice, the people doing them werent very gentle or careful with my nails and I didnt really enjoy my experience here.

These guys are so awesome! I forgot to ask the names of the people that were helping me, but the girl who did my toes did an excellent job: she took her time, she didn’t hurt me, she made them look really pretty. The guy who did my nails, we will refer to him as “ombré king” because he loooves doing ombré nails, and I am so glad that my first ombré nails were with him. They look absolutely *stunning* and I couldn’t stop looking at them while I was at work. (I got a light pink to soft white fade—with gel, which is an incredibly difficult task, might I add, if you don’t know what you’re doing). He was also incredibly friendly and personable. I’m definitely curious about the dip powder nails they were talking about, so I might try that the next time I’m able to afford doing my nails, but if I do go back, I’d be requesting the ombré guy.

I am so impressed with all the workers here. They are so sweet and friendly. Very professional looking. They were so sweet to the kids that were here in the salon. They have such cute children chairs for the kids to get a pedicure in and they have an iPad like device for them to watch things hon. As well as a big tv for us adults. They took their time and were very detailed. This is a very clean salon. I will be back for sure. I have been to so many places and FINALLY I have found one I want to come back to each time. They do great work. There were plenty of people here ready to work. Meet very clean salon. Right by kid to kid on redwood road in south Jordan. Love it!

For starters, you can hardly understand what they are saying and I dont think they understand what we are saying. They will only let you use on gift certificate at a time even though it Doesnt say anywhere on the certificate only one per customer, per visit. When we asked the difference about acrylic nails and pink and white (because of price difference) they showed us the acrylic nail board with colored tips. They didnt say they were more money than regular acrylic. There are people (like us) who never get there nails done and we didnt know there was a price difference. They also did a very poor job on my daughters nails and kept hurting her fingertips with the electronic nail filer. We will NEVER go back to that location.

I had quit coming here several months ago due to rude, careless staff and always felt rushed. Came back in today and very, very pleased. Appears that staff has changed some Shop is neater and cleaner. I hope it stays this way

Worst experience ever. Went in for a pedicure and a mani. my chair wasnt working. I had three ladies switch on and of. it seemed like when they talked in their language it was about my feet. I constantly had to ask them to fix something. they lied to me about the time they were closing, seemed like they were in a hurry to get out. I had my daughter fix the stuff that they didnt do right . then they had the balls to tell me to go to the store and get a tool to take the extra skin of my feet, I am sorry but when I go in I expect you to do what I am paying you to do because it YOUR JOB. not to tell me what I am according to you am doing wrong. the mani sucked. the place is dirty and gross and unprofessional, rude.

I have always had a good experience at 5 Star. The staff is friendly and always remember my name. This is the only salon where they stop my toenails from becoming ingrown.

AWFUL mani & pedi service for the money you pay. If I wanted to rub lotion, cream, etc & paint my nails I would have done it at home. Massage was more like rubs & feet was not scrubbed well, feet felt like there was still dead skin on it. You wont get quality work here. They may have fancy products, but service sucks. Brought business to this salon the weekend of mothers day by bringing myself, mom, and 2 of my sisters here for the 1st time to find out that we brought them about $200 in business for $20 worth of service for the 4 of us all together. If you havent gone to better nail salons you wont know what youre missing out on. And theyll try to up sale & if you dont want any of it, its more of a reason for the worker to do a crappy job. FIRST & LAST TIME WELL EVER GIVE THEM A PENNY OR WASTE OUR TIME.

I made an appointment and I got there early but they made me wait over 20 minutes so I left and went to a new salon. Not honoring appt Times is a huge pet peeve of mine. There were only 2 techs in the entire place at 4pm

I hate 5 star nails we used to go all the time best place then the ceiling had a bucket inside to stop a leak but they forgot about it and the bucket fell on my mom got her all wet and hurt her they wiped up the floor then gave her the towel they used to wipe the floor to dry her self off then she said it was fine and they gave us full price we said there is no discount she said let me talk to the manager and she did she said my manager said 5 dollars off from 90 dollars for me and my mom to get our nails done dont ever go there. Please show tthe that they need to show that tthe care for their costumers.

I took my mom there for mothers day. I got a pedicure and got my mom a manicure and a pedicure. My sisters also attended for a ladies night out. Ive been to several places to get these services done & I know that everyone has their own process, but I have to say they are by far the worst to get manis or pedis done.For the pedis they were not detailed at all! The majority of my pedi contained of lotion being rubbed on my feet and legs. I had to direct the lady where to clean several times, but she was doing the bare minimum. After my pedi, my feet felt as though they were soaped, rinsed, and rubbed with lotion. I do that myself on the regular. Why would I pay for someone to do that for me?My moms mani was terrible! My mom kept asking if she was going to clean the skin around her nail & the lady kept telling her that she had already did it. My mom was appreciative, but I could tell she wasnt to happy with the mani she got. I mean, I could have clipped her nails and painted them myself. Again, why would I pay someone to do that for her if I can do it myself?I addressed my concerns very discreetly so that the other customers couldnt hear me to the guy who deals with the scheduling and payment. He says that the products that they use are very expensive. I said thats great, but the service isnt really up to par. He ignored me and gave me my total.They are scamming people of their money!! Never again!!

Terrible experience... my manicure didnt come with a hand massage or lotion for that matter unless I wanted to pay 6.00 extra. My daughter had the same manicure, but hers included the basics like lotion. The nail tech was very rough and extreme rude.

Let clipped my moms toenails too short and she bled and got an infection, my manicure was bumpy and misshaped. Would not recommend.

I came in for just a fill on acrylic nails and instead of just that they did an entire backfill which I didnt need. She rushed through the entire thing and burned me badly and hurt me repeatedly with the tools and tried to say that it was my fault. The fill preformed on my nails is WAY too thick and looks horrible. I am extremely unhappy and I will never be going back!!!

When they finally got to me, 30 minutes after I arrived on time for my appointment, they did a good job. However, waiting 30 minutes is unacceptable, especially when one of the workers is standing around!!
