The staff at Thorpe and Company Jewelers is the best!! I took two watches in for new batteries, 1 being very old, and they replaced the batteries but one was still not working - the old one!! Carol kept me informed as to what they could do to figure out the issue and Joe got it working again! Quick turn around and great service! Love this place!!

Found the most beautiful setting for my emerald we found when I was out gold panning.

These guys are so friendly and so fast! I took in two of my rings to have some missing diamonds replaced. I got one back after a single day, and it looks brand new. Still waiting on the second ring, but I am confident that it will be just as brilliant. And the price for repair was really good too. Walked into Thorpe & Company with 2 expectations. 1. I would be sneered at and treated sub humanly because I do not appear upper class. 2. That my lower end necklace with very special meaning and value would NOT be able to be fixed. With all of that said, the moment I walked in, I was greeted with several genuine smiles and eye contact. After asking Joe if they fix jewelry he then smiled at me again and took my necklace. At this point I think its safe to say that everyone knew I was not there for a purchase. Yet, I was treated with respect, kindness and generosity. Joe, you, my neighborhood jeweler...are one awesome human being! When he exclaimed he in fact can and did fix my precious necklace I asked him how much I owed him. Im sure you can guess his reply. He generously handed it back to me in a fresh bag and informed me what I needed to do so it wouldnt break again, and wished me well. I order engraved picture frames for weddings and other occasions and Karen is wonderful to work with. She knows what style and layout to use and they ship it directly to the recipient. Every time I visit Thorpe & Co. I am impressed with their taste in jewelry and their knowledge. Karen makes sure to offer the latest in affordable fashion jewelry, and Rusty knows EVERYTHING about diamonds, including how to get the best VALUE. The staff are friendly and know their stuff. They went out of their way to custom order some jewelry for me which was a huge hit with my step-daughters. They also offer excellent repair and custom design services. It is a pleasure shopping with people who make the in-store experience so comfortable. I stop in their store EVERY time I visit Sioux City. Love them!

We have been customers since the late 80s. We loved the opportunity for layaway when we were just getting started! I cant think of another place we shop that makes you feel like the most important customer in the store.The old song where everyone knows your name is definitely true here. Not just the staff but Rusty and Karen too.The selection is top notch and everything is so beautiful. Prices are comparable to the internet, but here you get help in making selections and there is gorgeous gift wrap when you are done. What could be better than that!!!

I went in to see if they could fix my necklace and they fixed it right on the spot and also offered to clean my ring. He was pleasant to work with and when it was time to pay he didnt charge me a dime! Excellent customer service and would recommend them to everyone!

Both our niece and her mom had a wonderful time at Thorpe & Co and our niece felt so special! Not only are they beautiful, they are truly quality pieces. Take a look around their showroom. They only buy stunning pieces that they themselves would want to purchase. I worked with Joe. I told him my budget and the look I was going for. He picked out some pieces that fit my requests and explained the differences of each. He knows his stuff for sure- everyone down there does. I hate high pressure sales.....you have to buy this today to get a deal. That sort of thing. This place is NOT like that at all. Super relaxing friendly environment. Its a old school type of business that puts customer service first. How often does that happen now? I already warned my husband that I will be returning there on our 20th anniversary.
