Gundersons is first class all the way! 35 yrs ago my husband and I purchased our wedding rings from them and it was a great experience!Just recently I had them repair my ring…..I had lost the main Diamond from it and decided to replace it with a keepsake Diamond that I received from my mother when she passed. 5/08/2021After 1 year and countless promises that he will finish the repair on my Omega watch. Below are pictures exactly how it was returned to me. No hands on it, movement disassembled and missing parts. And still no return phone call or email from Gundersons management or staff. Unbelievable poor service.Update Friday 5/07/2021As you can see by their response they indicate they have trying to reach me following this review. Unfortunately this is not true. I am easy to get in touch with. I have called and emailed and left my name address email address and telephone number with no response.Harry Granzow the watchmaker at Gundersons Jewelers has had my Omega Seamaster Co-axial chronograph for 1 year now. Harry has been telling me for 8 months plus on a regular basis that he will finish the repair on my watch (next week). Well next week never comes. I have left messages for his superior in the company and get no response. This is exactly why services like Yelp exist. Yelp is for both positive and negative reviews. This is a negative review. I exhausted every other avenue before I posted this review.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, helping me to find exactly what I want or need. They keep me informed when ordering custom pieces or requesting items in different sizes/gold-tones/stones, etc. I have had great experiences with all my purchases, and repairs (resizing, broken chains, watch service) are a breeze. Gunderson’s is truly the only place to shop!

I was called about my ring that needed to be fixed with an price expectation. I told them to wait and to finish the other ones. A couple of days later I called back and told them I had changed my mind and told someone to go ahead with the original fixing of ring. Somewhere there was a miscommunication and when I called on this ring, nothing had been done. Was disappointed.

Even though Gunderson’s was technically closed, they allowed me to transact business through the door. I needed a replacement battery for my husband’s watch. Not only did they replace the battery, but they also cleaned it. When I picked up the watch the next day, I explained that I had given this watch to my recently deceased husband on our wedding day, and now I would pass it on to my son on his upcoming wedding day. The associate helping me was very compassionate, and kindly offered to also gift wrap the watch for me. I so appreciate the extra effort and kindness at a very difficult time.
