I use to like this place until a friend fathers gun grip got changed out. What a dishonest business! I hope she and her family make this a big deal. Her family had to pay a private detective in which that person did an awesome job especially by getting FDLE involved. Youll are busted and I cant wait to see what she plans to do next cause all the proof is present. She has the before picture and the after photo with a lot of information. I have never did a google review but I had to because of what happened. Not only that I have seen the gun several times and even the day she went to your business. When she picked it up she came to my house The local police department she could have called but she said she had to prove the change. Wow, fresh prints were all in the grip and inside the gip. Her prints were not on that section and especially under the grip. Be very careful with this pawn shop. You cant trust them! She does not do social media but I do and want everyone on Facebook to know what happened. She ask me not to do it but I have to because she and her family are awesome.

I had some old gold rings I never wear and I took them there and got a great price for them. The staff are courteous, honest and always fair. They also have a great selection of items to purchase at very reasonable prices. I never go to any other pawn shop than Folmars.

If I could give this place a 10, I would! I dont write reviews but I felt the need to this time. I was looking for a double-din radio for my wifes car and I found one at Folmars brand NEW still in the box. The price was already marked down below the retail, but I asked if they had anymore wiggle room for a discount for the item and they did. They gave me a few dollars off the already low priced item. 😀They have a big selection of car stereo items and good quality laptops.Try them out, you wont regret it!

The motto should be Used guns at new gun prices!I had never been in and was scoping out the selection. They do have a decent amount of things but the old man behind the counter clearly didnt have any idea what he was talking about with regards to most of the guns. I asked him to look at one which had a drum magazine on it ... the drum magazine usually goes goes for about $70-$80 bucks online, brand new. I asked him how much for just the drum magazine ... they come back with a price of $100. I asked if their was any room for negotiation? Very rudely told me that was the price and if I didnt like it I could leave. How stupid do you have to be to pay 20% more for something you can get somewhere else, brand new, cheaper? My advice is do your research and check around. Theyre not looking for customers theyre looking for people to rip off.

Ive been a customer of Folmars for over 20 years. Bought and sold all kinds of items at thier N. Monroe location. Rolexs, golf clubs, video games, and cameras. They even helped me design and create my wifes wedding ring. Their staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and I can always count on Folmars to give me a square deal.

I called this place and asked them if they were interested in some Waterford crystal mugs, they told me they were. Upon arrival at Folmars my wife and i were told that they were not interested, I told him about the phone conversation I had earlier and that we had drove 30 miles to bring him something he said to bring. I was told that he would give me 25 dollars for nine hundred dollars worth of crystal. Not only will I never go here again but will advise my friends not to as well.

I have been a customer with Folmar for over 10 years. Not only is there staff extremely friendly but they offer so many options. They work with you in your time of need if needing money or extra time to pay off your loan. Their new app on the phone is great when u need to keep update with your loans and the ability to pay at your convienance.My recent experience was with Justin and Whitney, One of my friends had put in a pawn and was going to be sold on the floor I was able to come up to Tallahassee to visit and get the items off the floor and put the loan into my name where Justin is the one that assisted me with that understanding the circumstances he was extremely helpful. When I wanted to go ahead and follow up with Folmars in making a payment that is when I had my interaction with Whitney where she told me about the application on the phone and I found that extremely helpful my final experience with Justin and Whitney was about a week ago where they knew unfortunately I was unable to carry the item in which I was picking up and here both of them went out of their way and made sure that I got the items Safely into my car. I then got a follow up from Whitney again via text reminding me that I had other items and that there was a survey for me to complete which I wanted to do for the customer service at FOLMARS especially with Justin and Whitney were extremely phenomenal. I would highly recommend FOLMARS for items that you may be looking for that you cannot buy in retail stores if you’re looking for some quick cash to be able to put your items on layaway or if you’re looking to put on some items. Either way you will not find a better and more honest location than FOLMARS.

I called bother Folmars locations aski g about a PS4, both told me they have one available. I go there and both locations said they don’t have any.. waste of time

Every time I come in, everyone is very helpful.

I left the power cord for my xbox one in my storage unit 400 miles away. I spent 4 hours going to all the big stores, game stores, computer repair stores etc... No one had one, though a couple said they could order me one for $80-100. I finally gave up. On the way to where I was staying, I stopped in the plaza to grab a couple items from the dollar store. Right next to it was Folmars. The rep was very nice, called to his other store to see if they had any backup cords, and sold me the one he had for $ 20. My heroes!

Ive gone here multiple times and this place is a joke! They steal money from you. They dont appraise things correctly. They honestly try to make you feel stupid and small. Dont go here. I absolutely dont recommend it.

I went into Folmar’s to pawn a couple of things because I was tight on money. So, I decided to give them my Tiffany & Co. necklace, which is engraved with the company name and the necklace was worth $700, and I’ve had the necklace less than a year. They offered me $10.... that’s just absolutely pathetic. They offer you $10 for them to flip it and sell it for way more. My fiancé also decided to sell his Dan Marino (Dolphins) painting that was signed by Dan Marino and has a certificate indicating it’s legit, which is usually worth $200+ and they gave him $75. This place is a rip-off and absolutely horrible about doing their job. The staff is rude and definitely not helpful. I recommend no one come here to pawn your things because they will rip you off and then sell your items for hundreds of dollars. Just stupid.

I normally go to Cash America but was close to Folmars so I figured Id give them a try this place is a joke they dont get fair prices at all I brought in $140 Ridgid jobsite radio 1 month old they said all they could do is 20$ because theyre for sale online for 40$ I told the guy theres no way thats true he showed me the computer prices and it was very clear that that was used and factory rebuilt prices he said he would do 30$ if I provided or rigid 18 volt battery 2 of these batteries new or $115 at Home Depot theyre just in business to take advantage of people at a desperate time in their life to profit off of their struggle go to Cash America they gave me $60 for the radio I have since picked it up I hope I dont have to plan something again but if I do I know where to go

I bought a new .270 rifle at wallmart and asked for two boxs of ammo for the riffle as well, once I got in my truck I realized they sold me 30-06 ammo instead of .270 so I went back in (5 minutes later)and asked to exchange and they said no because i may have tampered with the ammo in the five minutes it took to get to my truck and realize, even though they made the mistake . So I went to folmars just expecting to get a little money for the useless 30-06 ammo and they traded me straight up two boxes of .270 for my two boxes of 30-06 . I was not expecting to get a even trade ( thought I would get a little money and have to pay up for the rest) so it made my day and I will definitely be a customer for life and tell all my friends and family to do business at Folmars!!!!!!

Quick advice to all gun buyers know what you want before you buy it because once they start that 3 day background check they claim you cant an go get your money back because they started a background check an registration in your name but they can give you store credit smh

This is the best place in the world, very friendly staff, great prices, and its true about the negotiating, their prices are set, but their prices are spot on for used items, and if you buy more than one item, they will negotiate, also paying top dollar for used items, I couldnt have had a better experience
