DSHS is one the bestGovernment institutionIn the world.

The Department of Social and Health Services was so helpful, and under the circumstances of the Corona 19 Virus epidemic, i was very surprised that the wait time was at a minimal! I got thru my interview in record time. This interview was made simple and fast! But very thorough. Thank you to the DSHS and Staff for their dedication and hard work, especially through times like now. Im very proud of you all.

They changed their name to DCYF almost 3 years ago and still havent updated the signage.

Rated 3 stars for the sweet women who were at the check in desk. My most dislike was for the social worker (Kevin) had no motivation to help those who is seeking help. As for my reason being there.Kevin seemed unwelcoming when I walked up to counter 2. I was not at his counter longer then 5 minutes after Kevin had Raised his voice towards me when I had asked him. What do you know..!! Because almost all of my questions ive asked him. He kept saying he dont know. If a person who is working under the government should at least know other governmental businesses information to easily share with those who may not have knowledgeable answers.The nice women at the check in desk. Easily searched google for me and she assisted me with information that I needed from simply going on the internet on the computer which every counter has source to search if they didnt know how to answer a persons question(s). More then not having the ambitious to help those who is in need.I felt that he was there for a paycheck and not care to take pride in his job.

I have called numerous times and each time I will be on hold for 1-2 hours, then I have to hang up and go on with my day. I have not spoken to any person at all yet, due to their horrible customer service and not being able to answer a phone! Which makes it hard for me to actually receive my benefits. I have stuff to do throughout my day, errands to run, and am currently pregnant. Do not want to be on the phone for hours a day, waiting, and not able to get anywhere in the process of getting my benefits. If I could give 0 stars I would. Pick up your damn phones.

They were actually very helpful and pleasent and I wasnt stuck waiting around for ever and that unfortunately isnt always the case I understand they are very busy but sometimes the workers can be so rude luckily that wasnt an issue this time at this location

Its very small, they have a on site renta cop, its usually pretty quick to get help. Here the receptionists are also the social workers and such, thats different, I think its better in the way that theyll know more,& Are way more nice. but can also be a nay, because they might get to feeling overworked, & just might think there over qualified to do it.

This dshs I give it great props because whatever times that you show up the Waite time for me was not longer than twenty minutes. Fastest services of any dshs that I have ever been to. Great staff as well.

As long as youre there early at 8am Monday through Friday youll get your business taken care of quickly. Staff that speak English are very respectful and informative

When attempting to contact a representative via phone, the system automatically hangs up right before being transferred EVERY TIME. I have called over 15 times. Never go here for food stamps, better work for your food money instead.

They tried to their level best to serve their customers. However in terms of responding to email or telephone inquiry need a lot to improve
