I owe my life to this place. They have helped me in every way possible! From helping me and my husband get a ruff over our heads, right on down to gettin ID cards, even help get your debt in order and back on track! Which is a big win for me. They also help you (family) with food, medical needs for yourself And your minis. They help with EVERY SINGLE thing with children!!! School clothes, doctor visits, theu even help pay for childrens medians or glasses things of that nature. They help with schooling for yourself and your kids!!! Also just discovered they are willing to help get your license back as well. The only thing they ask in return is too follow their simple guide lines, and work on bettering yourself, future and current situation!Im so thankful I found this program to help. Its a great stepping stone for those of us who just need an extra hand while we get caught up!

An absolute joke of a company to work for. They can pay everyone except me week in and week out for various different reasons. Every time I ask why I didnt receive my direct deposit I get a different excuse or reason then get told I need a different document or that my I9 wasnt received when it has been I sent it 2x... Im being discriminated on by female staff for being male and BC of who I am. I literally had to quit my job BC they cant seem to get everything together enough to pay me for services rendered yet still expect me to keep coming into work... An absolute joke of a company to work for, I hope the entire board of directors and especially Nichelle Hilton are fired, post haste... YWCA is about to get sued for discrimination, I pay 35% to my attorneys. If interested get in contact with me.

Do not even expect that you will be given the courtesy of speaking, because you will be interrupted and ignored about your situation. Also if you have a service dog with your training papers from the organization that trained both of you, its automatic a pet.Service dogs are defined as durable medical equipment by the Federal Government and covered legally under the Americans with Disability Act. They cannot be excluded from any agency that accepts Federal grant money to operate. So take a pass on this one. You are definitely better off.

Grateful for reduced rent. Front desk staff are nice. Each floor has shared bathrooms and kitchens. Unfortunately these are nasty dirty.

Although the Location is great people are unfriendly. The building has many problems including pest issues. Although the landlord is very considerate and has a heart for people. She is a great asset to the community.

I lost all respect for this place today. This place isnt safe especially if you have children because the staff wont do anything if someone is threatening you until there is a fight and that is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard especially for it to be a domestic violence shelter. Crazy entitled people stay here and the staff allows bullying, even one of the staff members bullied me and they lie and it smells bad in there, the bathrooms are always filthy, some of the showers are messed up and worst of all there are bed bugs and I keep getting bit and they keep trying to say it isnt bed bugs when obviously it is. This is a business and they dont care about anyone in this shelter just their money.

These people don’t pick up there emergency shelter lines unless it’s 8am. So if you expect to get anything past that. You’re out of luck.
