Ive been coming here for a month now. My therapist doesnt return emails or check her voice-mail or alone return phone calls. Literally told me that she doesnt even check her voice-mail and rarely checks her emails. The receptionist desk phones havent been working for a couple of weeks if not a little longer now. All you hear when you call is a busy signal. What the hell is this ? I was better off at Valley Cities where I could actually get in touch with someone regardless of their attitudes and habits of not listening.

I am new to dealing with this particular clinic and I must say that Im very disappointed to say the least! Been attempting to get a hold of this agency for issues with mental health and the phone is literally a busy signal. I tried to call the belltown office and the phone signal is busy as well I dont understand what the hell is going on but this is unacceptable!!!!! Very unprofessional I have been waiting on hearing from my case manager after having one conversation never heard from him again because I requested a female instead of a male.

CPC is now Sound. If you have ANY history of legal issues, do not go to Sound! They will not honor your WAC right to self-determination. I tried to get standard mental health treatment, but because I had an old legal issue that is being dismissed I still was forced to be in the same program as people released from jail, parole and active probation. They would not let me receive care with the standard adult mental health care team. Dont risk it if youre not court ordered.

I went to this clinic for a month before i realized the error in my ways. This clinic is unprofessional. The receptionistsa cold and distant, which makes me feel like Im an intruder. The psychiatrist I talked to acted like a gate keeper when I told him I had depression. He told me that it was okay, and that I was just sick with a cold and that it would pass. He also kept pushing his negative impressions of me on me. He said I was timid, when in reality, I try my best to be out going. He offered nothing constructive in his criticisms. Id think an effective psychiatrist would bring out the best in a person, and help guide them to see what they need to work on, rather than lazily labeling what the naked eye can see. In addition, some sessions wouldnt focus on my mental health at all. I came to the conclusion that it was a waste of time trying to receive treatment here.

Do not even consider going here for one second. The intake specialist, Kristen, forced unwanted treatments when I made the course of treatment I wanted clear. She also attempted to diagnose me although she only has a counseling certificate (Only psychiatric nurses and psychiatrists can, and in some cases therapists). Even if you have to wait longer, see someone else. Avoid this place at all costs.FYI Most of the 5 star reviews are fake, check the accounts.

This office is where youll find Administrative. I have been dealing with CPC for a number of years. I highly recommend you go elsewhere if at all possible. My experience here has been frustrating for years.

Worst experience possible. If I could give it no stars I would. Was told I was an alcoholic and an addict when I barely drink and no proof of any drug use. They assumed, because my occupation as a bartender that I must be an addict. My counselor was condicending and rude. Dont be fooled by these guys. All they want is bodies in their classes. Thats how non profits like this work. They need people to get funding. Theyll make up reasons for you to be in their treatment program that are false. I got a second assessment at another facility. Received a correct assessment. Used the second assessment in court. Didnt use theirs. Finished with the court AND THEIR STILL CALLING ME AND MY FORMER PROBATION OFFICER! 6 months later! David Newman and his staff are bordering on harassment. Theyre shisters. Theyll lie. Theyll harass you if you dont use their services. DO NOT GO HERE AT ALL! WORST DECISION I MADE GOING THRU THIS PROCESS WAS COMING HERE!

Other reviewers are dead on. I have a shrink/prescriber who is only obligated to see me for 10 minutes, and an unqualified, inexperienced (in life) counselor who I see for 30-40 minutes. I am supposed to be assisted with obtaining housing, and achieving goals, also being treated for mental illness. My counselor flat out denied my choice to switch psych/prescriber when I was met with cold, distant, minimal rapport or understand, and also what seems like an arbitrary and dangerous complete medication/prescription overhaul and replacement. My counselor is a dick, who has not assisted with and actually attempted to sabotage housing and social programs I managed to obtain the chance for. Constantly negative, insulting, passive-aggresive, pessimistic and offensive, as well as having no life experience with substance/alcohol issues, he is hardly ideal. Worse is, I find out he sneaks potentially damaging remarks and wildly bizarre and offensive interpretations of our conversations. I had to pretend that I required a female shrink/prescriber for personal reasons to be effective, in order to get this guy to allow me to simply switch. What I found, was an even colder, cruel, inattentive, argumentative, insulting, offensive, abusive and pointless replacement. I may be able to speak for a few minutes a session, and leave with some random, minor adjustment to my medication. The height of her absurdity was when I landed a 1/1,000,000 shot at permanent housing at my first choice of location. My regular MD and addiction medicine specialist had signed a comprehensive letter to admit my established, trained service dog, who is a regular at the CPC office. Unfortunately, SHA required this be filled and signed on their very simple form in their format. My MD was on vacation until just after the deadline. My only hope was for my CPC shrink/prescriber to sign this form. Not only have I been seeing her for a long time, but she is well aware of the dogs training and status, and sees him every visit. Now, this woman for no reason I can fathom, nor could she explain, refused to sign this form. This was in spite of her duty to help me progress and heal, and knowing that hey refusal to sign could potentially leave me homeless and helpless at some point, with the next likely similar opportunity available in 6 years. The only reason could be indifference and cruelty, period. She nearly ruined my life, but I was Blessed with an extension. My wonderful MD saved the day. I am stuck at CPC via technicality. I come to every appointment with a sense of dread and anxiety, and leave more deluded and depressed, as they meddle with my sanity and hope, and I seriously leave every appointment in worse shape than when I came. I have had a different relative sit in a meeting with each burdensome CPC employee, going into the meetings expecting I was exaggerating and problematic, but my relatives left completely critical of them, and considered each of them bad at, and indifferent if not averse to their positions at CPC. They have done so much more harm than good, and I cant wait until I can get the hell away. I was glad to see that Im not the only one who feels like I do about this organization. They are all about statistics, not patients. I consider them potentially very detrimental, they have nearly driven me back to substance use and inflated suicidal feelings. My counselor admits to having lost a patient to a murder suicide. I am far from surprised. The formula is ridiculous: 10 interrupted minutes of trying to explain your issues to a shrink that hates you, followed by an uneducated and arbitrary adjustment to your medication, and talk about your symptoms with your counselor. Your counselor is not educated in the area of mental illness, and has no experience with substance issues. STAY AWAY. I will say they also have group sessions and a mens group which were actually alright, the latter being the better, but the core CPC formula and values are trash
