Love their late night drop off. I’ve been taking my car here for years and it’s always been a super smooth process. With my work hours I’ve never met with anyone in the shop in person but have had good experiences over the phone. Up front about pricing and honest when some services aren’t really needed yet or at all.

Kept me informed of all that they were doing for my vehicle. Totally transparent. Trustworthy, fast and friendly service with reasonable pricing. I will go to Dr. Dons Automotive for all my vehicle maintenance needs and recommend them to others.

I brought them a problem car, and any garage would have been right to turn me away -- many did.But the crew at Dons did their best with it, and got a collectors car back on the road, fixed the *clunk*, pointed out what problems are coming down the pike, and made me VERY happy.I paid them quite a bit. I dont feel I ever really got an estimate, but they gave me plenty of opportunities to bail out, and we knew it was going to be laborious. I would have liked a little more interaction with them versus the pay-no-attention-to-the-mechanic-behind-the-curtain act, but that could be explained by COVID protocols.All in all, theyve certainly earned my repeat visit... assuming of course they ever want to see me or my car again. 😁

Some businesses provide great service and thats great in itself, the staff at Dons provides all that and beyond, even if you are not their customer. I called Don after I got a referal from another autobody shop, about an Isuzu that even my mechanic was unsure about. I had the pleasure of speaking with John right before he had an appointment with a customer. He called me back and give me advice on what options were for the car and it was so refresing to get an educated, honest and straight to the point advice. I have a small remodeling company, and Dr. Dons is the only place I will have my fleet trucks repaired or serviced. You get what you pay for, and at Dr. Dons, you get quality work done right THE FIRST TIME, and they stand behind it.They communicate well, and let us know if there are options for how to deal with an issue. I always leave feeling like I was treated fairly, and that my repair was done well.I think auto repair businesses generally receive more complaints than most industries. I know, remodeling is the same way. Dr. Dons is the exception to that rule.
