They can text you instead of calling, and they are co-located with a gas station so you can pick your vehicle up late.

Previously I gave one star. The initial experience I had over the phone was not good. The young man I talked to was rude and not helpful, as well as almost requiring to wait another 2 weeks for the next appointment. But the actual location was a different story. The young man was not physically where the shop was and the shop employees were fantastic. They were courteous and helpful and the manager James was super helpful and friendly. I trust that when I actually bring my car in tomorrow, he wont overcharge or try to trick me. I would give 5 stars but the kid on the phone was not good.

Took my car here for a brake job replacing the rotors and pads for all 4 wheels in Sep 2020. The price was fair, and the car was ready for pick up the same day. Everything went smooth.3 months later, some of the brakes started to make squealing noises when stopping. I called in and stopped by twice(Had to stop by twice, due to the new year holidays I guess), Floyd and another gentle man took short test rides with me to identify the front brakes were the ones making noises. Floyd was able to order the parts and schedule the replacement in the following couple days. And the final replacement went fast too. The replacement was at NO cost. I didnt hear those noises again on my way home.Although I preferred that i never had to go to the shop multiple times to get the brakes replaced twice, Salmons shop has proved that they take responsibilities of their work and the parts they supply in a timely manner. And I really appreciated Floyds help.I would highly recommend this shop to people.

I needed an urgent repair and stopped by Saturday afternoon and they were able to accommodate. Forgot their names but I spoke with two young gentlemen and they were very professional. The older of the two (I keep wanting to say his name is Cameron...?) kept updating me on the progress and discuss my options. I know about cars and used to work on them myself when I was younger and less busy, so I know when shops try to sneak one by. But he was very upfront and realistic. My car was ready the next day on Sunday. Honest and competent auto shop thats open 7 days a week? Ill keep coming here as long as I live in the area.

Went in expecting to pay for new wheel bearing or something drastic but they just bent a piece back into place and didn’t charge me a dime. What a blessing this place is will be coming back !

We have frequented Salmon many times and they are always fast, honest and very fair on pricing. Recently we had a leaking bypass hose in our Odyssey that needed fixing before a trip. Salmon ordered the part, installed it, bled the system and gave us back the van free of charge! There have been multiple occasions they have not charged us for a simple fix. We definitely love how they are open on the weekends and you can drop off and pick up your car until 10pm when the service station closes.

Took my car in to get my starter replaced, apparently it is a difficult part to get because my car is relatively rare. Tristan did a great job at keeping me updated even as it took a couple extra days to get a part that wasnt a dud. Will come here again in the future

This is an honest shop! I really appreciate the level of service I received on my 2002 Dodge Ram Truck. When I first was thinking of taking my truck here, I asked one of the cashiers at the chevron near the shop what she thought of it. She said that the shop has been in business for over 20 years, and that she knew they have several loyal customers who have been going there for years. When I did take my truck in for servicing, they were very busy having high volume business due to it being right around the holidays (or maybe just because theyre amazing and everyone wants them). I was still able to drop the truck off just before close so that they could take a look at the brakes first thing in the morning. They told me a reasonable quote to get it fixed and how quickly it would take, but that they felt like they would be wrongly taking my money to repair it. They showed me a large number of small problems that could be ignored (many of which I was aware of already), but that there were a few dangerously risky problems needing repair now and more to happen soon that were high dollar expenses - way above saving, even if to just last another year. They provided me a great temporary solution for the brakes in the meantime, gave me suggestions on how to get the most value left from the truck, and even let me hold it there a few days before I was able to come pick it up. They were very professional and very friendly. I have another vehicle soon to be in need of an oil change amongst a few cosmetic repairs Id like done. I will definitely be taking it here and I recommend the same for anyone else.

Found a nail in the tire at 7:30 am. Glad to find out that this service center is already open. Glen came out and fixed the tire very professionally in no time. He is also honest and tell me that there is no need to replace the whole tire. A great service!

This gas station also doubles as a service center. For gas, they have decent prices and you can use your Safeway points to get lower prices. For the service center, theyre open a good amount and their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Being at a busy intersection, its sometimes tough to get in here. The convenience store has a good mix of things too.

Took my car by one morning to fix a flat. I was out of there in an hour, and it would have been much faster except that I stripped the tires lug nuts putting the spare tire on and they had to order some new ones from a nearby parts store. They are quick, professional and reasonably priced!

I didnt feel like I got good service. Just because somebody doesnt write an actual full review doesnt mean that theyre trying to make you look bad. Maybe they just dont want to say their experience so it doesnt make you look bad. Now I definitely want to even give you a lower score because of the assuming.

Great service for great price. My Mazda 6 was misfiring and they were able to get me scheduled on the weekend with a days notice! They had the parts I needed (ignition coil) on hand. Been going back for years now with no plans to switch.

I Love Larry and the gang of mechanics at this service center. Always very friendly, and completely fair. I once got a quote from another company, and then brought the car to Salmon. they did an inspection and cited a couple of things to keep an eye on, but said overall, I shouldnt spend the $700 to get the list done. They also will drop you off, and go the extra mile. Wonderful bunch.

Came in for what should be a quick oil change 15 minutes prior to closing at 5 (by the time work gets off and my bus arrives, its 4:40). However, the technician was closing the garage and said he wouldnt do it. I told him an oil change shouldnt take longer than 15 minutes, but then he told me it would take longer than an hour in total, because they need to check tires, engine, etc. Just a way to cop out of doing the job and shows how they operate. Will not be seeing them again.08.07.2018 RE: The owners response just proves my point further. These people are childish and unprofessional. Although I doubt anything will be done, Ive reported the owner to Chevron.

I have been going to Salmons for 21 years both Larry and Jon over deliver with exceptional service each and every time I have taken all of my cars in for repairs.

They are very great people that work there. Please call in advance. Very busy with great mechanics.

Whenever I take my car around to get estimates, I make sure that this Salmons Service Center is in my lineup. 9 times out of 10, Jon tells me a more affordable price than all of the other places. On at least two occasions, Ive been told at other mechanics about a big expense and when I brought it in to the Salmons Center they let me know that work didnt actually need to be done. This shop is the only place where I dont feel lied to or taken advantage of!

I love the Salmons Service team on 125th! These guys are straightforward, know what theyre doing, have helped me out several times over the years. Most recently, after both Les Schwab and Discount Tire recommended the wrong wheel locks for my car, which would have caused the locked lug to no longer function as a lug, Martin at Salmons took the time to explain the difference, then helped me find the exactly right locks to order online. Today I went back and Larry installed them for me, (2 sets!) at no charge. I know many of my neighbors agree that we are very lucky to have these guys in our neighborhood.

My windshield wipers had been acting up for a while. After reading up, I was under the impression that I was about to need a new motor, and today looked like the day. Went in expecting to have to pay 300-400 for it all, but The mechanic, Jake, popped off a piece of plastic, tightened a bolt, and sent me on my way. Its a Christmas miracle!

My catalytic converter was stolen. They got me in pretty fast to look at it. This was the 3rd place i went for an estimate and they were the best price! from the time i dropped off my car for them to look at it to it being back in my hands was less than 6 hours! i would HIGHLY recommend this place. Workers are nice and they do a great job!
