I had a tour with Jordan this morning we looked at a studio together and I loved the home it’s very modern with lots of natural lighting! The location is close to everything you love. I would highly highly recommend visiting Viva and touring with Jordan she was so personable and sweet she made me feel like she really cared about getting me into a home that I loved mostMost places in Seattle don’t care to give you a personable tour but she exceeded my expectations and did it all in excellence! Highly recommended

I have had a lovely experience with Viva! I have had 2 tours with Jordan and I would highly recommend touring with her. She was genuine very patient with me and super helpful towards all my needs she spoke very highly of the building the company the property and her manager I did come at a busy time but she kept a smile on her face during the craziness I didnt end up leasing just because I found something with the square footage I was hoping for BUT I would recommend Viva to anyone looking for a home :)

Ive been living here for 8 months. Here are my pros and cons. Its not a terrible place to be, in fact there are quite a few really great things about the building. Before the summer heat started, I probably would have given the building more of a ~3.5 stars. Now, the cons are outweighing the pros for us in terms of staying vs. leaving when our lease expires.Pros+ easy to walk everywhere (bars, restaurants, grocery stores)+ centrally located within Seattle+ we got a nice covid deal of 2 mos rent free+ friendly building staff+ our apartment style, the Madison, is more of a traditional one bedroom; theres a window in both the living room and the bedroom, and a lot of Seattle apartments have a layout where the bedroom is behind the living room and has no windowCons- parking is on the pricier side for the city ($250/month)- roof top facilities are nice, but have not been functional the entire time we have lived here (barbecues and fire pits)- BIGGEST PROBLEM, and reason we will be moving out when our lease expires: the building is HOT year round. We never once turned on the heat in the winter, and even needed to open the windows sometimes. Summer weather is just starting and we are sweltering. I bought two industrial style fans, one for the bedroom and one for the living room, and its still not sufficient to keep the apartment cool. Its cooler outside than it is inside in the summer mornings despite open windows and fans running all night. Yikes! Im not sure how we will make it through the peak summer heat with this situation...- noise and light pollution are high -- which to be fair, is probably true of any apartment building in this sector. If youre a light sleeper, this probably isnt the best place for you. Our bedroom faces Madison street. Even on the sixth floor, the noise makes it hard to sleep. I sleep with ear plugs and an eye mask and I still am awakened by sirens and bus/traffic noise somewhat often. Sirens are regularly passing by (Id estimate 5+ daily during work hours) and so working from home with meetings has been noisy as well.- window mechanisms are faulty, weve had to have ours replaced twice since living here

The location of this apartment complex is great, and the staff have been very helpful in answering all the questions asked and have made the move-in process easy. The apartment itself is lovely, and would highly recommend!

A leasing consultant named Grace has been so helpful in my apartment hunt! I’ve been looking all over Seattle for several weeks and spoken with lots of leasing agents, but Grace has been a godsend. Whether I end up renting a unit at Viva or not, I highly recommend others to look into it.UPDATE:I decided to lease a studio here in February and it’s such a lovely place! The only downside is parking, but I’ve found a system that works with either bussing or using local Zone Permit parking :)

Andrea at viva has been extremely extremely helpful and resourceful to help me not only tour at viva, but also made my cross-country move to Seattle go very smoothly. I had so many issues with setting up electricity, paperwork etc and Andrea has been very accommodating and helpful. I cannot imagine how my move would have been elsewhere. Absolutely love this place thanks to Andrea; She is the best 😁

Went to take a tour of the place, looking for an apartment in the area. The staff was so welcoming and attentive. I tend to ask a lot of questions and the manager was knowledgable and friendly even though I am sure I talked his ear off. Oh and the place was immaculate. I love the location and how close it is to so many things.

I lived at Viva for a year and a half. It was fine+ Well insulated- In summer, it stayed over 80 in the apartment until 10 at night+ Reasonable rent- Lots of add-on charges like bike fee, or common area utilities+ Nice rooftop deck- Took whole security deposit without giving breakdown of why

Everything has been great so far. We are moving the building, location and people. It took us a long time to decide on an apartment and this suits all of our needs. Not too mention the rooftop bite of downtown, the space Needle, and Mount Rainier!

Absolutely amazing place to live! Such a clean and new modern apartment with everything you will need or want. Managers Micah and Erin are extremely helpful and friendly. They answer all of my questions and go out of their way to help me with whatever I need. I would recommend this place to anyone. I loved it

Had a great move in experience! Andrea was super helpful and friendly and despite some minor hiccups with the elevator everything went very smoothly and I really like the property

Proposed to increase my rent by 17%. Managed to negotiate the rent increase down somewhat, but it was still too high. I have since moved out. 3 months later, the apartment is still available to rent and for amount less than we paid. Great way to lose tenants and money.

Falsified our rental history through the management company Alliance One. Cost us two apartments in our search for a new place. Not many amenities. They nickle and dime you for everything possible. Forgot to notify us about payments. Then added on a late fee for something we didn’t even know about. Management was not very helpful or proactive to help alleviate our rental concerns. Overpriced. Don’t waste your money here. Find a similar layout for hundreds less.

Went to tour the apartment. Front desk person forgot my appointment and I had to stand outside for about 15 minutes. When I was finally let in, had to wait another 15 minutes while lone building manager was putting out small fires happening with the tenants. Was not impressed with the offerings when tour commenced. Building is modern, but they clearly are understaffed and the units seemed way over priced for the sq footage. Pass on this one.

Great place to live in. Great community and surroundings. Apartments are good. Apartment is missing gym facilities and guest parking.

Beautiful and trendy apartments in a perfect location and waking distance to everything. The staff was super helpful, friendly and accommodating was really blown away at the superior service.

Never pick up the phone even when I was outside of the entrance seeing someone inside the office doing nothing. Not very good first impression for people who are looking for an apartment.
