I have lived in Rivet Apt for a year and a half now. Awesome staff, Very accommodating, and willing to support its tenants!! The location is very convenient, Close to downtown, quiet, and great neighborhood. Service requests are completed within 1-2 days. Elevators are big compared to any other apartments. Parking is really clean and good.

Disclaimer: Im commenting as a prospective tenant.Building is nice and room interior looks like new. Rooftop is excellent with both city and lake view. Most importantly, I really enjoyed working with Morgan from the leasing office. He is really patient, considerate and prompt in providing assistance. I toured multiple apartments in the area, and Morgan is among the best agents.

I love my apartment! The location is perfect and the rooftop is awesome - especially the view of Lake Union. The leasing staff was very helpful with the application process and I really appreciated their professionalism. If youre interested in living in this location I highly recommend the Rivet.

The Rivet is a great first apartment for people moving to Seattle. What interested us in the property was the proximity to work as well as to restaurants, shops, and Capitol Hill. The building is kept really clean, and the shared spaces are nice. We have two fur babies, and they love the dog run. The agents in the leasing office are nice and helpful, as well as the maintenance guys. They are quick at responding to requests and fixing issues. The only downside to the Rivet is its neighbors. The building is surrounded by shelters for people experiencing homelessness, and at certain times of the day/night they crowd the sidewalks and say unsavory things when youre walking by. This is nothing that the Rivet promotes and theres no way for them to deal with this issue. But I wish we wouldve known it before moving there

I have been staying here for more than a year now. I just renewed my lease. The management is super helpful, and take care of any issues at the earliest. The appliances are of good quality and I love the rooftop, which is a good place to chill in the summer. You can get a view of lake union as well.

I live in one of the ground floor townhomes that are part of the complex and have to say I love living here. The location is amazing and central to everything, including a great bus line, restaurants, and shopping. The management team is also great - theyre very responsive and really care about upkeep and making sure you feel well taken care of. There have been minor things like lightbulbs going out that are quickly taken care of when you submit a work request. Ive lived here 1.5 years and am very satisfied.

I am staying in this apartment since 2019 April. Great place and very friendly staff. I always get prompt reply for any service request from the office. Its located in a good place easy accessible to I5. Heating system in the apartment is really good. I have never used heater even in winters. I also get very less utility bill and electricity bill compared to other apartments in SLU. Parking area is very big. There is not much weights in the GYM but there are few cardio equipments and should be good enough if you are not much into muscle building. Overall its a good deal to stay in this place.

Ive lived here for over a year now and this is not a bad place to call home, especially if you work close by and can walk :) The staff has been great the only draw back for me are the very small window that opens so there isnt much air flow.

I have lived at Rivet for nearly 3 years and have been extremely happy here. We have an open floor plan, floor to ceiling windows, and incredible kitchen and bathroom storage. The rooftop has beautiful city views and (pre-covid) we loved hosting people in the community room. The staff is kind and very accommodating. General questions and maintenence requests are all solved within a day or so.We dont have a car so the location is unmatched. You are so close to public transportation but you can easily walk to where you need to go.There is construction down the block, but I cant really knock Rivet for that. In Seattle, its difficult to find a complex where there isnt construction nearby. We locked in our unit without having stepped foot in the building because we were still living in Chicago at the time. The staff was very acccommodating in helping us feel confident in where we were settling down from thousands of miles away. For those taking extra Covid pre-cautions youre in good hands.Overall, weve really never had any issues so we love it here and lucked out finding this place.

The staff treated me with respect and accommodated my requests in a timely manner. Although I only had one issue while I was staying here, maintenance provided prompt and courteous service. I subleased an apartment for three months and was very happy with my stay. The apartment was clean and there was actually plenty of storage space. The outdoor space on the roof was a very nice added benefit.

Very nice apartment building used for corporate housing. The rooms are nice, though a little small but the large kitchen is nice. The beds are comfy and big. The rooftop is awesome with great views and lounge chairs and even grills. The recreation room is also cool with pool and pinball. The only missing part is a gym but you cant have it all.

In the middle of the night, the light above the sink fell down, waking me up. I told them about it and they said they would send someone to fix it. They never did. Instead, when I vacated, they charged me for it. I never touched it. I was barely in the apartment and never damaged anything. Also, the walls and ceilings are very thin. I thought elephants were having a party upstairs, but it turned out to be a toddler. On the weekends someone leaves their dog alone nearby and it cries all day. I just want to hug it. Poor thing.I will add a star above one because they have pinball machines.

Great place to stay in corporate housing. The roof is beautiful and the open fireplace is one-of-a-kind for Seattle residential fire pits. The Rooms are nice but dont have the most homey decor. A 2-3 block walk to the Amazon campus makes this a very convenient place to stay for new Amazonians.

I scheduled a 1:30pm appointment to view their apartments and there was no representative available when we arrived. Seems like management is HORRIBLE here... We waited outside the door for 5 minutes before we were even let in, then told they didnt have anyone who could show the apartment, no apology for making us wait. We waited over 30 minutes view the gym which had 1 elliptical and 1 bike machine?! Apartment was OK, but for the price I could live at a luxury high rise downtown....easy decision.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Seriously, dont rent from this apartment complex. This is the first google review I have ever written, but I needed to make sure that others knew that this isnt a 3 star complex AT ALL. Stayed in the apartment for a year because at the time you couldnt beat the price for the square footage, but the amount we saved on rent, we lost in hours trying to deal with incompetent staff. For starters they neglect to mention the homeless shelter next door that has plenty of people staying out on the sidewalk at all times of the day. When we asked for help with safety concerns (we had to call 911 at least 3 times) they ignored our requests and pretended to never receive them. The entire leasing office was completely helpless. Every single time I had to go in there I was met with confusion and a half hearted answer that would almost always be contradicted the next day by another staff member. For example, when we first moved in no one could figure out how to set up our resident portal to pay online, and they told us to just not pay until they set it up. They didnt set it up until halfway through the month then charged us late fees for not paying on time. The problems didnt stop. When we asked where we should take our trash, NO ONE KNEW! It took us a month of garbage piling up and finally just leaving it in the leasing office for them to figure out that the only shoot we could access was on the third level. When our blinds broke, we added maintenance requests. Multiple times the requests were marked completed even though the blinds were still broken and no one had been in to fix them. The parking garage is a concern of its own, considering it is mostly compact spots with tight corners, but aside from that, the leasing office had no record of which spot belonged to whom. In fact we were assigned someone elses spot when we first moved in. When we asked for a new spot, they had no idea which spots were taken, so we had to go through and mark empty spots for them to let them know which were still available. Also, when first moving in, a selling point was that they had security systems built into the wall as a security measure for the large homeless population outside the apartment. When we moved in they informed us they were just for show and didnt actually work. About 6 months in the alarm would randomly go off and we asked them to fix it. They came in and just yanked it from the wall, wires showing and everything. They never came back to fix it.We had to go through at least 5 different fobs because every one we were given was mis-programed in some way. When we toured the apartment complex they mentioned they were in the process of renovating their gym, because at the time there were like 2 bikes, an elliptical, a treadmill and a bunch of yoga mats. I can report that after a 12 month lease absolutely nothing changed. It is the poorest excuse for a gym you could find in Seattle. It isnt even in a room, its on the top of the lounge area, so if you want to work out and a party is happening its going to be really awkward. We figured it was just lack of experience and they would learn as the year progressed, but even as we left they tried to take nearly 600 dollars out of our deposit for ludicrous reasons; including claiming we didnt pay the amount of prorated rent that we were supposed to. Which is absurd because we sat in the office with them, before paying, and asked how much to pay for our last month, since their system didnt prorate any of our charges.Seriously. AVOID. AT. ALL. COSTS.

I loved living in Rivet for a year. It is very safe and view from the rooftop is just lovely! The staff is friendly and kind. Even though they dont have a proper gym, the equipment they had was sufficient for me. The ventilation was not sufficient but that never bothered me too much.I am editing my rating to 4 star because they charged me $120 for cleaning after I moved out. I kept the apartment in a good condition and did a whole lot of cleaning myself before I handed over the keys. The apartment could have paid the $120 by themselves, especially because I stayed for the entire length of my lease.

I stay here as part of temp housing (corporate housing). It is nice & neat with all the nice appliance (white goods, which is actually all black). Lots of in build unit and storage place.Well equip (furnished) not sure if only if it rent as part of corporate housing?!I did not have have any interaction with staff while I was there.I strongly dislike the fragrant in all corridor/ hanger/lobby.Freezing cold corridor (even to my standard, my optimal temp is around 15C(60F)).The widow can only open about 4 inches so it been quite toasting (even face North) at March. So if you get too hot in the apartment just stay in the corridor for a while XD.I also personally dislike the apartment layout with 3 quarter bedroom. It is very close to amazon however there is nothing much (if you cant/dont drive) in this area.

I genuinely do not understand the bad reviews here.I actually felt so comfortable with this team and their transparency that I even signed a full 12 month lease REMOTELY from friggen Canada without even seeing the apartment. Came to the apartment, did a move in inspection (not that it matters because lease is signed) but everything was in order. The agent even made sure to write down any concerns or wishes or gimmicks I wanted.Management responds to my emails within the hour usually, and Ive even seen them reply to me a sunday night!Place is very open and roomy and soothing for a single guy. I felt very welcomed, and I loved all the amneties provides especially the rooftop for myself and my dog.Ive made maybe 3-5 changes around the house including installing a full shower system for myself and management was more than helpful to do it swiftly. They still ask about my dog and my stay after a month of being with them, even though my dog barks at the agent every time out of fear (hes a mutt in training) and the agent NEVER ONCE yelled back or scolded me for it. On the contrary, they were always understanding of the fact that my dog is a new environment.Tenants are great, and everyone tries to follow the rules.Met a couple of people from day 1 and became friends by bonding over the dog pooping zone upstairs, so it helps socializing!HIGHLY recommended. and the best part? My place is at the cross intersection of a 3 minute walk to the following: Best dog daycare in town, best vet in town, shops/whole foods, great sushi, and a 5 minute walk to my building in amazon! Also, the building is at a 1-way intersection so theres almost no traffic there. I live on the first floor, at eye level, and I maybe see ONE or two people walking outside a day, even though I keep my blinds up!Dont listen to the nay-sayers, if you are having issues with management, its because youre asking the wrong questions. Dont be afraid to ask inquiries, better be informative than wrongfully spiteful.PS: No I do not work for management, but I highly respect all that theyve done for me considering I just moved in from literally across the continent from another country and immediately felt like home!Charles.

I rented with them in 2017 and twice I recd a electricity bill of $200+ for 2 months. I had rented out a 1 bedroom apartment and I was the single occupant in the apartment. It was impossible for me to have recd such a enormous bill. when I informed the management, they did nothing about it. I was out of country for better part of 2 months so getting an electricity bill of $200+ was impossible. I requested city light folks to come and check the matter. The city light folks then inform me that I am being billed for my apartment + 3 doors down. This is clearly a miss at the management end if they dont know what meter belongs to what apartment. In this case, they should not be in the apartment renting business. I have now moved out of the apartment for obvious reasons and they still havent fixed the issue. I am still in talks with city light for the $200+ bill that they have put on my name after a year. Agreed that the government officials are slow in responding, but the management does nothing to help you. I feel harassed as a single woman having to deal with this issue and make daily phone calls to city light all because the management is careless. Stay away from this apartment management !

WARNING: You dont have to scroll too far down to find another bad review! If youre looking for apartments, look somewhere else, theres plenty of apartments in the area. The leasing agent on duty was really rude. We arrived at 450 pm after calling to confirm that we could still view (yes, I admit that we were late for our appt, but still called to confirm to which they said yes) but the person on duty did not honor whoever was on the phone that told us, rubbing it in that we were 2 hours late... and said he stopped tours at 430 pm so maybe just really lazy because the office is open till 5. If they cant do the only thing they need to do for leasing - customer service - then Id bank on that their management is awful. There are plenty of non 3-star apartments in this area.FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Its good but not great. Staff was sort of impatient when we asked questions regarding parking around the area. Probably a misunderstanding but then they further elaborated that most people give up their cars to walk around downtown. What about people who move across the country from say Chicago? We own a car and simply wanted to know where to park temporarily. Anyway, I hope other staff members are more polite, informed, and patient. If a staff ends up reading this, please escalate this to a manager or someone with authority for future training opportunities.Edit: 9/13/17 realized that my original 3/5 stars was a bit too generous so I revised it to 2.
