We worked with Kim to find a new home for us in Seattle. She was so responsive to our questions and needs and really helped us figure out what sort of priorities we had when trying to find an apartment.During our tour she told us about different neighborhoods in Seattle and what we should look for. She also would tell us about where the apartment was located and what it meant for our needs.Overall we are so glad we used the service. It made finding an apartment so easy and I feel now excited to move rather than dreading it.
At first they seemed very helpful and attentive, but over time we realized they promised quite a few things that never got fixed or addressed after the initial showing of the property. The staff was not very helpful with issues that occurred throughout our time renting through them. Additionally, when moving out one of the employees just left a key out in the open without checking if we were even home, which could have lead to problems. We were also charged rent AFTER moving out even tho we stopped our auto payment. Seems very organized on the outside, but becomes less mad less organized the harder you look. We had a lot of issues with moving out and lack of communication. I wish it could’ve gone differently because the property was great. I would not recommend renting through them.
My experience with. Ashley Hayes was exceptional. I had a small window of time to find a place, so she understood my situation and helped me move-in fairly quickly.Would definitely recommend to anyone.
I worked with Dahlia for my move from Texas to Washington, and she was truly amazing throughout the entire process! She really got to know me, and the type of values that I wanted when looking for an apartment. She was consistently responsive and helpful to all my questions and inquiries, while also providing her own perspective and expertise throughout. I was able to find my new apartment extremely successfully with her help!
Ashley is very professional. Adheres to the current COVID-19 requirements. She know her inventory and found the perfect condo for me.
Excellent service, Joe Richard was an awesome agent; pleasant, professional, and great sense of humor! The company is easy to work with and quick to respond. Joe nailed it with the first showing, our initial wish-list conversations were easy and made the day-of run smooth. Joe really figured out our needs and delivered in our price range. Couldnt be happier with the experience!
We worked with Samantha Sayers of the Seattle Rental Group to help rent our townhome out. The whole experience was so unexpectedly simple and easy. Samantha was knowledgeable, prompt and extremely proactive. As first time landlords, she helped us traverse the vast paper work trail and made it all look like a breeze. The entire process from beginning to now has been hassle free and very confidence inspiring. Five stars to Samantha and to Seattle Rental Group!
Roy Daly was an excellent agent throughout the whole process. He found our family the perfect home and was able to negotiate a fair price even in a very competitive Seattle market. Roy excels in his personalized approach to home buying and he was always prompt at responding to my questions. Many agents I have worked with in the past would not really listen to what we wanted as a family and showed us houses that didnt meet many of our criteria. Roy was the exact opposite and very receptive to our ideas. He went the extra mile to find us the right home in the right neighborhood. I highly recommend him for your next home purchase or house hunting process.
Roy Daly was amazing! We are so happy we worked with him to find our new home. Roy helped us look in an area that he normally doesnt sell in, he had to travel at least 2 hours each day we house hunted. He always came well prepared with multiple appointments scheduled, mapped out the most efficient routes and offered great advice. The house we ended up buying was one we crossed off of our list because the listing photos didnt make the house very appealing. He convinced us to give it a look since we were in the area. The moment we walked in we new it was the one. We are so happy we listened to Roys suggestion that sometimes the pictures dont do a property justice and to keep an open mind. If we hadnt we wouldnt be in our perfect house. We recommend Roy to all our friends and family and we will definitely use him again in the future!
We worked with Roy Daly of Seattle Rental Group to help rent out our house. He did such a wonderful job and manged to rent it out in less than 2 weeks. He was knowledgeable, prompt, and always very responsive. He made the whole process a breeze and the experience couldnt be better. I would wholeheartedly recommend Roy.
I am really DISSAPPOINTED with a recent encounter while looking for renting a Townhouse. We were the first to see the Townhouse at 9:00 AM, and were told by Chelsey, that there is a recent rule change (last Thursday) in WA according to which whoever confirms first will get the townhouse. We were earlier not aware of this rule and we reconfirmed with her. As we liked the Townhouse, we confirmed it at the very moment and submitted the application (which costed $80 for 2 people) within couple hours. We were relaxed and happy as we were assured that we will get the Townhouse. After 2 days on Monday, i.e. first business day, I got an email that there were few things pending on the application.Along with it, it was also mentioned that there are other applications as well in process and because of the new WA state law, whoevers application gets processed first will be considered. This shocked me as it was now a different state rule than explained earlier.I tried to do everything possible within 3 hours of knowing what more information is required and after getting a confirmation that all documents look good we waited for the confirmation. But next day we were told that the Townhouse has been given to the other applicant as their application was processed first. With that being said, I would like to know from Seattle Rental Group what is the actual WA rule:A person who confirms first gets the place ?orA person whose application gets processed first, gets the place ?
Sarah Schivo has been extremely helpful in finding me the best apartment for my needs. I feel so much better about making a quick relocation now that she has helped me. She has been extremely patient with all my requests, and always answers quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!!
Seattle Rental Group was great to work with. My particular representative was Krissy and since we are first time Landlords in Seattle, she informed me of all the documents we needed to comply with. Krissy was professional, very responsive, and an integral part of the lease transaction. There is no doubt we will be working with Krissy again in the future.
Wished we saw Breanne review before we submitted our applications for a townhouse. While we were getting a house tour with another group, Jessica told us the same thing, “first applied” gets priority and that it should only take a few days to hear back. With that being said, my roommates and I immediately filled out the application and collectively paid the $160 fee after the showing. We indicated in our application that our intended move-in date would be the beginning of the next month, giving us 3 weeks to plan according.I gave it a few days before I contacted Jessica asking for a status on our applications since she did mention that it doesn’t take that long to hear back from. She responded that our application processing was complete and that we should know by today or tomorrow. Didn’t hear back from either Jessica or Ryan and so I contacted her again 4 days later if there was anything that we can do on our end to speed up the process with 2 weeks left until our “move-in date”. She then apologies and says that she’d check in with Ryan. Another 4 days go by and we still haven’t heard back from neither Jessica or Ryan. And so I email Ryan directly asking him for the status of our application and that we’d love to move forward with the rental if possible. We exchanged 1 email and still no answer on the status of our application.Later on I see that the Zillow listing for the townhouse was posted again but with an increase of $200 for the overall rent. I understand if there’s more parties that are interested on the listing now and that you can increase the rent. But once a group has already applied and “completed the processing”, it’s frustrating and highly unprofessional for them to not communicate clearly with the potential renters. I’ve contacted Jessica and Ryan in a total of 4 times and left a voicemail to the leasing office, which I never got a call back from. Neither parties was giving me a straightforward answer. Until this morning when I received an email telling me that our application was denied. This entire process been a complete waste of time and money because would I have known, I would have checked out other listings than to wait around for 2 weeks for yes or no answer for this townhouse and with only 1 week left until move-in. I wish I had an experience like the others but I completely agree with Breanne and working with Seattle Rental Group has been the most frustrating experience I’ve encountered.
We really appreciated the support from the Seattle Rental Group during our rental process. Joe answered our questions quickly and gave helpful suggestions on ways to move forward. When we ran into challenges, he was able to come up with creative solutions that met everyones needs and execute them in a timely manner.
We worked with Lamar Stone, taking advantage of SRG’s free apartment finding service. The experience as a whole was great - Lamar drew us up a long list of locations, and made us appointments to see our favorites. In the end, our #1 choice was one of the places Lamar referred us to! It’s worth noting that this free service only included buildings SRG contracts with - we did look at other buildings, on our own.Four stars because I had to follow up on some emails several times.
We used Seattle Rental Groups area tour service to find a place to rent when relocating from San Jose to Seattle. We had Brenden as our agent and he went above and beyond in every way.Brenden managed to find tons of great homes for us to view (even with the many restrictions we had like having lots of pets) and took care of all the hassle with contacting owners and scheduling showings. He was extremely helpful and personable on the tour giving us lots of advice and answering all of our questions. He didnt just duck out after the tour, either. Brenden genuinely cared about helping us find the home we wanted and he kept in touch to answer questions and provide support for the next two days while we followed up with the homes we were interested in and finalized the lease. If youre looking to relocate to the Seattle area or just want to relieve the stress of finding a new home, then you wont go wrong with Seattle Rental Group (especially if you can work with Brenden). Their service is worth every bit of the price.
Krissy was very helpful, quick to respond, informative and very easy to work with. She kept us updated every step of the way and made the whole selling process smooth and easy!
Do you like having your appointment cancelled on you 9 minutes before scheduled? And losing out on an apartment you love because of said cancellation?Do you like wasting your Saturday looking at an apartment already signed to another applicant, only to find out as youre looking at it that it wont be available? Do you like wasting $130 on applying for an apartment when theres 4 other applicants too?Look no further! Seattle Rental Group is your team. Limited options, a first applied policy (not the law yet and not even followed), and terrible disrespect for peoples time and money.I got cancelled on nine minutes before a Friday appointment, after arranging to work from home and borrowing a car. THEN, Gerard had us visit the apartment the next day, despite the fact he received a couples application (and he told us its a first in policy), and he told us the same day that the owners decided to go with those applicants and we shouldnt apply. If I had seen the apartment at the original appointment, then we would have been first applicant. When those applicants didnt work out, Gerard told us the place was available, so my roommates and I scrambled to get it done ASAP (given the first in application rule). So we paid our $130 collectively, for which there were now four other applicants at this point, but we were not told that. Then he told us, its not first in, its soonest to move in, and we werent the soonest so we didnt get it.This is my 7th leasing agent to deal with and BY FAR the worst. Do not do any business! Theyre after money only. I am sorry for ever engaging with them.
Ashley has always been incredibly easy to work with; impressively knowledgable and intuitive. Highly recommend working with her.
Krissy was a pleasure to work with! Extremely responsive and professional. She goes the extra mile!
