My family and I moved recently, we are very happy with our new apartment. Very clean and beautiful. Our move, was very smooth. Stephanie Libed is an amazing person and very knowledgeable. I like, how she does her work is very organized and she respond emails on time. I love how she treats people, very respectful person you could ever ask. We love it here. Thank you.

The apartment is good for the price. My toilet has low water pressure and it’s not the most spacious, but it looks elegant. The fridge slams on the counter because theres nothing holding it back, so that can be a nuisance. The neighborhood on the other hand is nice, safe, and has many nearby restaurants.

I’ve lived here for several years. I love the location and diversity of the neighborhood and most of the other tenants in the building are friendly and easy to be neighbors with. Very pet friendly building right next to a great park for walks. I myself have never experienced any crime or bad experience here in the three years I’ve been here and the management has always been good about fixing maintenance issues in a timely manner

Can we restart the business center, perhaps with restriction, one occupant at a time? This facility is lying closed now for more than a year.

Staff are generally nice in the beginning.Improvements: I know its Seattle, but if you want to set yourself apart from every other over priced apartment in the area, and you have a pretty vacant lot, it would be nice to see more security and to give residents a reason/peace of mind to want to spend $125 on parking knowing that it IS monitored and that management does really care about issues like theft.First time ever that a package has gone missing-not too happy about that. Management said thats common like it was no big deal. I get it, you have a lot of people to please. Just doesnt ever feel good to feel like a number. Youll talk up the place and all the perks in the beginning to get a soon to be resident to sign the lease though. With the holidays coming up soon, really makes me disappointed that theft isnt under better control. Just being honest. Get more creative with your resources rather than attempting to spend money on things like exterior paint which is already fine.

I have lived in this apartment for over 3 years and they put up rent over $331 claiming they provided ample notice a letter at my door which I never received. The Staff are rude and unhelpful, honestly since, the recent change in management this place has really hit rock bottom.I would not recommend this property due the unethical behavior.Renters be aware!

The Legacy at Pratt Park staff are amazing, helpful, kind, fair, and honest. I would highly recommend this apartment building to my friends and family! Living at the Legacy has been nothing but a pleasure as the staff have been more than accommodating and approachable. The building and amenities themselves are of high quality and provide a warm and comforting atmosphere. I plan to live here for quite some time before I purchase my first home in Seattle.

New property management and ownership. Some of the changes include a $60 fee for paying rent online. This was not communicated to residents during the change. They also are charging every resident $35 fee for setting up their utilities since they utilize a different company for utility billing. Their idea of a welcome wagon is charging existing residents an extra $100 in fees. What a way to gain the trust of residents....Besides this the building and community is awesome.

Best place to live in downtown Seattle, office staff very kind and caring, clean premises, the only loud noise I heard is blue angels flight in the day time. I would recommend anyone wanting a quiet place to move to Legacy, a down to earth Property manager and her assistances go out of their way to answer your questions. I am moving out because I purchased a property, I would have lived here longer . Thank you staff of Legacy At Pratt Park for making my everyday living here happy.

Ive lived here for about a year, and just signed another lease to stay for another year. The building and staff are truly great. Heres what I mean:Its run very well: the folks who manage the building are quick to respond to issues and concerns (they even started alternating the music in the lobby when I mentioned it was always the same!). Additionally, they are always courteous and professional. Im actually in my second apartment in the building, and I have been happy to find the transition went really well. The building can be a little pricey, but thats usual for Seattle, and as with most places, if you are moving during a year when apartments are hard to come by, theyll be more expensive. I know some folks in the building who have gotten really great deals because they were moving in the middle of winter. The amenities are great as well and are maintained without any issue Ive ever seen.Overall, its a great place to live in a wonderfully diverse area.

I would not trust the management of this place. My wife and I were promised a floor plan. We went in for a viewing and were told we couldnt be shown that apartment type since it was occupied but wed be shown a different apartment but it would have the exact same layout and floor plan.We sign the lease on that trust and when we move in we find out that the floor plan doesnt match what we were promised at all. It was terrible. There is only another apartment which is renovated (so $70 pricier/month) than the apartment we were promised with the floor plan we like. However when asked to shift us there, the management wanted us to pay more than what we had been promised in the lease. To be exact, it was $1918 more. As a consumer, I was being told to pay more for a mistake the company made. Absolutely insane. Even after the horrible experience they put me through. They gave us free parking but that was pointless cause we were happy with street parking. It was never a financial concession. It was a horrible experience and I would never ask anyone to go through this hassle. Do not trust what they promise you and definitely check out nay unit they are giving you. Also dont expect them to go above and beyond for you cause clearly customer service is not their strong suit at all! It is by far the worst experience Ive had with any company.Edit: This is to reply to the owners comment below. The difference in the floor plan changes everything. A living room that is smaller than the bedroom would not work for alot of people. Additionally, we were told the floor plan would be exactly similar, you cant show a unit with the promise that the unit you move into will be different.Secondly, i was offered a renovated unit but it wasnt the same deal (one month off) i was offered. I have the email correspondence.Even if a renovated unit, it was above the price point comfortable to me, so makes no sense why i would pay more when the mistake was made by Pratt. If Pratt cared about its tenants, they shouldve price matched even if offering a renovated unit. Im sorry but your argument doesnt hold much value in this instance. It still caused a lot of issues for me and my family and i would not recommend anyone to move here.

New property management is terrible, only the senior leadership though. Arthur has been great in recovering from the mishaps from the previous company! My packages are constantly getting lost and I just had a conversation with a police officer about recent car break-ins. Moving out, so wish me luck with the next place!

Awesome place! Youre right next to a park, so obviously youl have to maintain your berrings. Parking is expensive, but it is Seattle. The location is right on a bunch of transit (14 bus, 7/36 is down the hill, street car is down the hill too). Theres no bells and whistles but if thats not an issue, then its a great place

I did a tour of this complex. There was a lot of broken things like the elevator and it had a very foul smell. When I did the tour they took my id and did not give it back to me afterward. They said they would mail it (since i live far away) and it has yet to show up. I felt like it is a big complex and it is easy to fall through the cracks.

The land lord (2015) is one of the nicest and most accommodating woman Ive ever met. The amenities are 5 star alone. Add the view and the modern finishes and you have a perfect place.Down side? If you dont have a car the nearest buss line is NOT reliable.

Absolutely horrible. The building is nice. Thats the only good thing. The staff is extremely lazy and rude. They dont care about you. They kept my entire deposit AND charged me $200+ after move out and sent me to collections immediately for the extra money. Apparently they charged me for cleaning and painting.... When it was fully hardwood and the walls were perfectly clean. They do not enforce rules At ALL! There is a no amoking policy which is Never enforced. If you live in one of the inner units ( facing the center of the building) and someone is smoking on their balcony (not allowed) the smoke just reaches every inner facing unit, so the windows can never be opened unless you want smoke filling up your apartment. I even made a video of other tenants smoking and showed the management and nothing was done. The neighborhood is also shitty. Just do yourself a favor and dont waste your money here.

So its a little interesting how the reviews from the anonymous google user below sounds similar and its around the same time frame. I wouldnt be surprised if its the same person that probably works for the company. I cant believe how ridiculously obvious that is. The store across the street is a liquor store and has a few things from your local gas station. Most of the items in there are expired by the way and they store cheap wine in the window (which you should never do). I can tell you that the crime is really bad here and that there are days that I do hear gunshots and security is never around. The store next door keeps getting broken into and if you dont believe me its easy to look it up. I have seen guys shooting craps at the Pratt school early in the morning I agree with Aaron the price is way too high for the neighborhood. The utilities are really high and tenants complain about it all the time. I just wouldnt rent from here because you can get a better place for about the same price or less.

Legacy at Pratt park is a scam in a terrible neighborhood. The apartments themselves are well designed and maintained fairly well. Admittedly, we knew the neighborhood was up and coming when we moved in, the problem is the neighborhood stalled. Despite the awesome Cheeky Cafe and the Immortal Dog there is very little in the area. And as far as walking, the reports of shootings in the neighborhood are frequent and among the most disturbing in Seattle. There is no reason to pay this rent in a terrible neighborhood, for the same prices central Cap Hill is feasible. Parking is also a rip charging a lot more than Welch Plaza up the street when street parking is readily available if you are okay with car prowling and all this knowing the garage never went over 60% full. Water and sewage are higher than we have experienced in Seattle by $15-$20, and our renters insurance was $70 more than our new Seattle neighborhood, the difference likely due to crime. My biggest complaint with Pratt Park didnt occur until move out. We had paid a pet deposit of $300 dollars which we were told multiple times went to cover replacement of carpets and pad because it was unhygienic to rerent after a pet lived in a place, mess or not. We said fine. On move out, they are now charging us for carpet cleaning, and saying the pet deposit was a fee that was not to go towards move out cleaning, despite an immaculate cleaning job (we have never had to pay and actually gotten money back at all previous apartments). They are insisting on $160 in cleaning and wont explain why. The real kicker is they broke landlord leasing law in Washington state by not providing a written copy of leasing documents so we cant even confirm.DO NOT RENT HERE. We will be pursuing actions against the license of the managers in the leasing office and/ or Legacy Apartments, and we are debating small claims court. These greedy practices thrive on people not having the time to battle them.

Alright, lets do this. I gave Legacy at Pratt Park 3 stars. Yes 3 Stars, but hear me out:I lived there for almost 4 years in a one bedroom apartment with den, which was actually a really nice new and big apartment 750+ sqft. Lets explore the pros & consPros:- Apartments are new, great floor plans and there is always a place available- Amenities are great, Movie Room, Club Room, Rooftop Terrace and Gym- Secure Building, Garage, Car Wash Parking Spot (its kinda neat)- Maintenance is great, the maintenance staff is amazing, fast and super friendly, and I mean super friendly, especially Dwayne.Cons:- Leasing Staff is lazy and rude. The behavior exhibited when contacting the leasing office is why stereotypes still exist, I am not sure what Shandra (Manager) and Katrina (Leasing Staff Person) do there but when my friends called (after I suggested it to them) they were rude and I quote said go look online and can you call back when Rachel iz here. I personally never had issues with the leasing staff, but I have a high tolerance level and am pretty intimidating. Notification emails about arrived packages and other emails just stopped coming after a while.- Location, its on the border of Capitol Hill and Ghetto Seattle. Seattle is doing a good job renewing most buildings in the area but if you go up one block, youll see what I mean. If you are like me and just drive in and drive out by car, to work or school, then this shouldnt really matter to you. If you enjoy evening strolls then please be strapped.- biggest CON: Legacy is unwilling to work together with their lessee when it comes to the rent $$, and that would not be a big deal if the rent would be raised by 50 or 100 dollars but its outrageous when your first year lease is over - lets not even talk about my second renewal. The third year raise broke the camels back, when they offered me carpet cleaning but raise the rent to 1700 (plus 75 per parking spot of course). Please know that this is not a rant, because I enjoyed living there - in fact: i was sad to leave. The apartments are by far nicer than anything on capitol hill, its just that I didnt want to go broke. I am sure you will understand, once rents gets raised from 1200 to 1700.Dont get me wrong, its a nice place to live at, but if youre into friendly leasing staff, a stable rent, and a good/safe location - then you should take your business elsewhere. If you are like me and can tolerate it, dont walk around the neighborhood, and just want to come home to a nice apartment, then this place is for you.Note to Legacy Staff:I have no beef with you. Dont take this this the wrong way, take this as feedback. If you want lease-loyalty, then dont jack up the prices and fire the nicest people from your staff.PS: Internet is CenturyLink 40MBit/s and TV is DirectTV - so pretty sweet, no problems ever. I am a geek and those were some important things for me to know.Well, I hope this helps out the people that are reading the reviews.
