I went to see a few SMP companies hoping to get rid of my lace hair system that I have worn since the mid 90s. I was still on the fence until I met Ian Dennis at Scalpp. Ian is very confident in his work and answered any concern before I even brought it up. I asked him what would happen if I didnt like the end result and he simply replied thats absolutely impossible lol.Its been 4 weeks since my last session and the transition has overall been smooth. It felt strange not wearing the system at first but now the lifestyle that it has given me back and not worrying about my hair anymore has (as cliche as it sounds) changed my life. I was worried if it would work on light white hair but it does. The hairline and blending are natural and gentle. It just fades into my skin I love it.

I just had my crown filled it. It looks thicker. I still use a little toppik to give it the fullness I like but nothing like my hour long routine before lol good people very recommend.

Ian is THE MAN! I wasnt bald but just wanted to use the tattoo to make it thicker and it really has. Its much fuller and darker and noone knows I got it done. My wife thinks Im still using the toppik. It has turned out even better than we thought it would. He takes his time and he treats you like you are his only client for the day. I watched video after video after video on the tattoo and glad I went with Ian. If you are in Texas then go with Ian. He is as great as his reputation!

I got my scalp pigment work done in 2017 by Ian when he was with h.i.s hair clinic. I just had a touch up session yesterday and it looks even better when I first had it done. See you next election 🤣

If you are looking for those softer hairlines and not those defined hairlines then Ian Dennis is the man for this. I was 1000% bald lol but Ian got the darkness perfect, the density perfect, the dots look identical to my hair follicules. I travelled from Laredo Texas and it was very worth the trip for the peace of mind. Good people and I was treated with respect as soon as I called.

Came from san marcos to have a little scalp Microgmentation on my hairline and crown. It only took an hour and Ian said it was probably the easiest treatment hed done all year lol. Either way I still wanted the best work and Ian made everything look really natural. It made a big difference to me.

I did my research and met a few places. I kind of knew I was gonna go with Ian before I met him. But as soon as you meet Ian its obvious he knows his sh*t about SMP and backs up his reputation. He goes into alot of detail, questions are answered with honesty and there is no sales talk. I didnt want my hairline razor sharp but I didnt want it too light either. He gave me a hairline not seen in nearly 2 decades and the last session has just blending it in perfect. I can stand an inch from the mirror and still not be able to tell which are my hair follicles and which is the Scalp Micropigmentation. Its a cliche to say it but this is definitely a life changing thing. Just fyi I am a 44 year old male and was Norwood 4.

Ian and Kristin are good friendly people. I came from San Marcos for myamy Scalp Microgmentation but we would have driven from Mexico for the Ian guy. Try and get Ian if he is visiting Austin or if not then just drive to Houston serious its not that far for something permanent like this.Ian gets what this means to people. I would be lying if I said I didnt get a little bit emotional seeing that hairline for the first time in decades. I feel amazing thank you my friend.

Reagan is the best hands down. I’ve been looking into doing this for a year but I was very hesitant. After meeting with Reagan she really took the time to explain the process and set the expectations. I couldn’t be happier. I love my new look and my new boost of confidence!!!

A long story short:I had some horrible Scalp Pigmentation done at another place in Austinand it took EIGHT sessions to get it lasered. Everyone I contacted recommend Ian so I travelled over there - first met him in Austin then had it done in Houston. The difference is night and day between what they did and what he has done. Before it looked like a bunch of big dots and now it LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE HAIR FOLLICLES. It has been a long long 18 months, do yourself a favor and go see Ian first or see his technician in Austin as she is the one that does his SMP when he needs a touching up.

Thanks all. Hairline is just how I dreamed it would be and how it should be on a 25 y.o. Very happy. The hair transplant places only ever show their best work online. The best part about Scalpp and my experience here is that my treatment looks as good as any of the photos from Ians Instagram.Update: I just put a picture on Facebook with no hat and the comments have absolutely made my day dude. One person asked me why I kept my hair short before and someone else said I should keep my hair like this from now on.

I first reached out to a well known SMP artist in LA. He basically told me that in Texas you either get ian dennis to do your procedure or someone trained by him. I didnt have time to goto Houston for Ian but I spoke to him on the phone and he spoke highly of the technician here.I was a Norwood 7 (aka super bald!) and I was very very nervous so asked to start very light. It was probably too light after 1 session (infact it was hard to even see) but session 2 really made me relax and my hairline now looks just how I hoped :) I have 1 more minor session booked for tomorrow to finish things off and life is good! Some advice: text them a selfie and ask for a simulation. This will show you what SMP will look like on you and that really sold it for me. Hope this helps anyone on the fence!

I had my hair pigments done by Laura in Houston. Very happy to know she would be here in Austin from now on. I wanted a dark smp but natural. I showed a photo of how my hairline looked 15 years ago and she has recreated it all perfectly. laura is warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. 8 months on and it still looks right on and the only comment i have ever got at work are people asking me why i wore hats all the time when i got so much hair.

I dont normally write these reviews but the scalp micropigmentation was a big deal for me. I recommend Laura at her studio, I went to interview every single clinic in Austin and Laura stood out with her experience and professionalism. I have now stopped with the toppik and feel much more confident. I was pretty scared going in for session 1 but it turned out better than I thought it ever could.

Nervous at first about getting the hair tattoo but I can honestly say that Laura was just as dedicated as I was in my scalp micro pigmentation result. I wanted Ian Dennis to do my head so i went to Houston and had my last session when he was here in austin. Theres a long wait for him to do it but its worth it for something like this. Like I said in my other review, I took several photos with my DSLR and zoomed in. The results? It is literally impossible to tell where my hair begins and the scalp pigmentation starts, there is no difference at all between my hair and the SMP. Color, shape, all looks like my hair. The work is without any flaw.
