I usually don’t write reviews. However, I need to express the great care and compassion I received from Nancy and Lexi.Welcome home indeed! I have peace of mind when coming home from work and school. From helping me find a place also, accommodating my needs was effortless. Nancy thank you from the bottom of my heart. We truly appreciate you for all you do and always going the extra mile.

I LOVE living here! The management is always consistent and respectful to my needs. I feel extremely safe (being a single woman) and have never had any issues with packages missing... at move in the option to pay a one time $20 fee for a delivery locker is fabulous! I feel the missing packages from a review I saw is due to others not wanting that service? (Definitely not managements fault, that’s the carriers doing)The rooftop view is amazing and the location is by everything!! Even a huge parking garage if you want that option and a Starbucks downstairs, huge bonus! Thank you marq211 for my new home🌸

My name is actually Trisha. I just moved into the marq. Before I signed the lease I had been given an offer from this community 2 months free and a rent of a certain amount. I was told I would not have to worry about rent until March. Well this was a lie. The rent offered was at a discounted rate from breaking up over the lease term. This is false advertising and now I have had to play catch up due to the lie. I went down to the office and was told no problem, they would fix it and send me a paper to sign to my door. Never happened. I am pretty sick of bad management in apartment complexes and I will be hiring a lawyer and looking for a new place to live that offers transparency as well as follows through with their word. I am finding more and more charges and things that I didnt sign onto with the lease. I would not recommend moving here. Especially now that Joy is gone.

I expressed my concerns to management who was very evasive and unresponsive, which is really disappointing especially during a time like this.

Doesnt respond to emails, you have to reserve parking for guest 48 hours in advance which wasnt in the lease. On top of management being very passive aggressive.

If youre thinking of moving to this community, PLEASE READ!I bet every resident here know its very likely to lose packages at this apt. I lost 4 packages within last 6 months, including a designer handbag worth more than 1k, a glass vase (no big deal), 5 lb cat litter (who stole cat litter?!), and a birthday gift to my friend but end up being stolen. I did reach out to the leasing manager but shes very COLD, doesnt care of residents property at all, only mentioned theres nothing she can do and asked me to contact to the delivery agents instead.Another thing I hate is the elevator, I was stuck in garage twice including one time I just finish costco shopping. I waited for the elevator for like 10 mins, then found out the elevator was out of service. Theres no notice, no email sent beforehand, I had to go back to my car, grab the garage remoter, get out of garage using the garage gate (yeah, thats the only exit way), take stairs with all my grocery and finally got home.Overall, no good experience. Choose other apartments if you have a choice.

Pros: Great staff. Spacious room and lots of cabinets.Cons: the website info is misleading—Only a few rooms have AC ports but the amenities section doesn’t indicate that. It just listed Air Conditioning, which is not correct. The elevator is way too slow than normal.

We have had a great experience living at Marq 211. The office staff is personable, friendly and helps residents with any issues. Maintenance is very responsive and has helped us with lock outs a few times. The rooftop is great, dog park, fireplace and great views of the city. We loved living here!

Ive lived here for a little over 7 months now so I feel like Ive established a solid opinion about this apartment complex to provide a candid review:PROS:⁃ Great sound-proofing. I do live on a corner unit on the top floor, but I have never heard a peep from my neighbor and barely hear any hallway noise. Yes, there is someone screaming out in the streets more often than Id like to hear, but its the city, and that noise is out of the apartmentss control⁃ High quality units. I love their dark hardwood floors, white kitchen/bathroom countertops, and luxurious bathrooms. This was probably a high selling point for me. Large kitchen sink? Yaaass⁃ Storage space. The way my unit was planned provided so many storage cubbies. Built-in bathroom shelves along with the big cabinets, top rack in the bedroom closet, another space for storage in the washer/dryer area, and space by the front entrance, also with a top rack⁃ Location. A 15 minute walk is all it takes for one to get to target, whole foods, the pier, etc. Everything else like Cinerama, Pike place, and cute cafes are all within a couple blocks. I feel like this apartment really blends between different areas, like queen Anne, hearts of belltown, downtown, and just a quick 6 minute walk to the light rail that can take you to Capitol Hill and whatnot. This place is truly seamless.⁃ Management. Let me take a second to appreciate Joy and the team. They respond quickly, give early heads-up to whatever notices, and are SUPER friendly, down-to-earth people. Joy helped me find my unit, and she was and is still very great. It feels good to be in a place that has honest management that makes you feel like they care. The maintenance folks are also very helpful, prompt, and kind!⁃ Secure parcel system. Pretty much, a sweet locker that stores your packagesCONS⁃ Slooooooowwww elevatorsssss. There are only two elevators, but they’re just so slow. It’s the only thing that bothers me about this place, though.⁃ Limited amenities. There is a small cardio room (2 treadmills, 1 elliptical, 1 cycle), and a printer/lounge room but that’s it. I don’t mind this though since I never use it anyway⁃ Single pane windows: I can feel the cold breeze in the colder days, but this was easily fixed with insulated/black out curtains :)- Outside noise. Because the apartment is in the heart of the city, theres lots of noise (sirens, screaming people, drunk people, car horns, etc.), but thats out of the apartments control, so Id just take it as a given for this location.TLDR;PRO- High quality apartment complex and outstanding staffCONS- Street noise and slow elevators

Lets set the record straight - this place is NOWHERE near a 5 star rating. The weakest link to this property is the management. For the longest time we had a leasing agent acting as the manager and CWS properties gave that person no ability to actually do anything. You may notice the previous post by Heather who was very nice and would address issues but not always in a timely manner and she is not there anymore. The new management would talk down to residents and refused to address issues. For example, the ventilation system broke in the summer time and caused the hallways to be stifling hot, then turned off the heat to the hallways in the winter (to save money I presume). Because of this, everyones apartment was extremely hot and cold because no air was being forced through the building. To highlight the management personality, when I moved out, there was mass confusion between the staff even though I confirmed three times within 48 hours of my date and time. They didnt have an elevator saved for me as was promised and when my movers had an issue, they sent them down to the lowest level where the elevator locked. This to me is an example of how they dont pay attention to general details and have a disregard for people in general. The common areas are a joke. The rooftop should be a selling point, but with weed infested planters, no grills (because of a fire I was told), a fire pit that NEVER worked, and a small dog run that reeks of urine that can be smelled everywhere, I was up there MAYBE twice. Sure they have a gym - if thats what you want to call a couple of treadmills in an unventilated closet. One good thing is that their is WIFI in the lobby and rooftop. Elevators are sloooooow and break down often. The apartments in general are nice. They refurbished them and they look nice and have an open feel. The kitchen cabinets are extremely narrow as they wont even accommodate a larger dinner plate. Storage is also very limited in the kitchen - but this is because everyone in Seattle eats out. There are plenty of windows, but you are close enough to the street that you can not avoid flies or noise. If you are on the back side, enjoy the construction noise!Safety is another concern. There is only one entrance to the building and half the time a druggie or rambling homeless person is hanging out there. Security shows up in the evening but half the time they are not present and dont seem to enhance a feeling of being safe. While this is a negative review, I hope it provides an honest insight to this property and I have waited a while to write it. The apartment itself is a 3/5 - open, nice appearance, and enough storage in general, but very limited amenities and noisy. Management is 0/5 - nice to get your money, but dont expect anything after that. For all the apartments in Seattle, it is a crime for what this place charges and does not provide.
