Had a stint in the hospital without a brush for close to a week, hair was a wreck. Messaged a majority of the local salons if they had an opening, only JuliAnne responded, with a very reasonable price. The stylist kept me updated throughout the whole service, when she first thought I wanted to keep a majority of the length she informed me that it would be more with the styling than quoted through messages, when she saw how short I wanted it, she informed me it was back to the original price. She was shocked how short I wanted to take my hair but still delivered. I rarely go to salons, had over three years worth of growth from when I shaved my head. They were awesome with dealing with a disability that has left a hole in my head. Would go to her again.

Place was clean. The people are very nice. The environment is inviting.They did a full balayage and a week later all the coloring was out. They were kind and let me come back to get it re-dyed, but after spending A LOT of money and not knowing how much it was until I checked out, asked it I wanted to spend more on something else. I wouldn’t recommend spending money on the shampoo. It’s very thin, and the conditioner does not help or make your hair feel smooth. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Today I had an appointment at Juliannes and normally I see Juli for my hair color and cut. I have been a customer of the salon for 1-1/2 years, always having Juli for my services. Juli is out for rotator cuff surgery so I was with Ashley today. I was told Ashley is taking over for Juli as she recovers. I was very impressed with Ashley as she was very into every detail and precise with the color and cut. She was very personable, professional and clean. She is a great addition to the Salon. I look forward to seeing Ashley next month. I highly recommend giving Ashley a try. Prayers for Juli as she recovers.

Good place to get your your feet and your nails done

I was referred by a current customer. Had my hair colored, cut, and styled. Julie did an outstanding job. Love my new look. They took many precautions to keep everyone safe. I felt very safe the entire time. Everyone was so friendly. I highly recommend this salon!

Julie sure has put the safety features in her salon. They even figured out a way to take the strings off & tape the mask to your face so they can cut around the ears.Everyone is very friendly. I had a little sticker shock seeing that I havent been to a salon in a few years. Julie did a great job with my weird hair. I am very pleased.

I absolutely LOVE JuliAnne’s Salon & Spa. It is neat and tidy and everyone treats you like family. These are literally the kindest people you will ever meet. I get my haircuts and facials here and they are literally AMAZING. Top of the line products and my hair and skin looks and feelss amazing for WEEKS after each visit. I refuse to go anywhere else. I love everything about this salon. The staff, the ambiance, the finished product - all are amazing. You walk in to the waiting area where you are immediately asked if youd like something to drink. Julianne handles my hair cuts and color. What I appreciate most about Julianne is how friendly she is, what a great job she does, and most important to my wallet is that she tells me upfront what each part of my coloring that day will cost ahead of time. I encourage everyone to check this place out, especially if youve never really been happy with your hair. They will exceed your expectations!

My first visit was on June 24th with Julie. She did a super job coloring and cutting my hair. I went in with shoulder length hair and came out with a pixie cut. She cut off the damaged overprocessed ends from a previous salon. My cut and color looks and feels great. Its a new look for me and am so happy. Thank you to the customer at the jewel deli counter in Schaumburg for recommending this salon to me. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to my next appointment.

What an amazing shop and incredible staff. I was fortunate to have JuliAnne, the owner do my hair and do my nails last minute for vacation and When I say INCREDIBLE I MEAN INCREDIBLE!!! she was able to squeeze me into her busy schedule and did a fantastic job she took her time and my nails look flawless for vacation. Had a no-chip manicure done by Julie! What great service I got! I was offered water, coffee, mints, by her and felt at home. She didnt rush through anything and took her time to make sure I was happy with the outcome as well. I will continue to go to Julie whenever Im in need of a no-chip manicure! Ive been a client for over 10 years now, and this place is fantastic. Everyone there is so friendly! Alissa does my cut and color and she is AWESOME!! I get alot of compliments on my color and dont hesitate to refer anyone there who is looking for a new place. Alissa has also been cutting my daughters hair since they were each about 2 (both tweens now) and she is great with kids!

JuliAnne was my Christmas Angel this year! A few months prior I purchased a wig from her because I was going through chemo for ovarian cancer. She being an ovarian cancer survivor was very compassionate and gave information and tips on what to do as I started to lose my hair. She not only works with you to find the best wig, she cuts your hair short once it starts falling out and then again when chemo is complete and it starts growing back. She also lets you know she is there for questions at any time. I never imagined this included Christmas.After making dinner on Christmas Eve, I came home to find I had been too close to the oven and and singed the front. I did not think it could be salvaged to wear for Christmas Day. I texted JuliAnne at 10:30 p.m. Christmas Eve to see if she had any thoughts on what could be done. Not only did she call me back within 5 minutes of my text, but she met me at her shop on Christmas morning to take a look at it. She was able to get me a new wig that I could wear for Christmas Day! She goes above and beyond and is truly a blessing during a challenging time. My Christmas Angel!

My wife goes to JuliAnnes regularly. Their skills are unmatched. They are extremely accommodating and very customer oriented, led by JuliAnne, the owner.

First I want to say that the women that work here are super nice people but I would not trust them with your hair. I have never posted a bad review in my life - but after this experience I knew I needed to save other people their time and money. Also - if you check out her yelp and other google reviews you will find many other customers that state the same issues. SO PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH! I only checked a few reviews and got screwed!!I came in with blonde hair that had grown out so there was about 2 of root that needed to be fixed and I wanted my hair to be lighter overall. I made an appointment with the owner (because I read the reviews and she sounded great). My first problem is that I had asked for my hair to be overall lighter, after leaving the salon twice now, my hair is darker than what it was when I came in the first time. My second problem is that I asked for the discoloration on my tips and on my roots to be fixed. I still have discoloration in both sections of my hair. I normally would let it go. Ive had bad hair dyes before since blonde is a difficult color and I understand your hair wont always turn out the way you want it. However, after spending over $300 on my hair here, I feel like I should LOVE it. I did call the owner after my first visit when I told her I did not like the orange color that was in my roots.I came back today and granted, she did get rid of the orange, but now the toner has made all of my hair a dark ash. I dont mind an ash look, but the fact that my hair is darker than it was when I came in - I am pretty bothered. The main thing that bothers is me is that I had told Julia I normally get a full highlight. (Listed on her site for $90). I received maybe 15 foils in my hair (only on the top) and was charged $90 for the FULL highlight. There are roots still showing underneath my hair. There are still spots of my hair you can see hasnt been touched with a highlight or color. I am so upset that I spent so much time and money at a salon that SOUNDED great until I walked out.As a woman that is also in the service business, I would never have charged someone something so drastic that made them unhappy. I also wouldve taken ownership for my mistakes, offered a discount, or continued to work with them until they were ABSOLUTELY happy. The only thing I have received is an itemized breakdown of my bill, that still doesnt make sense. (as she charged me for the full highlight and I only received highlights on the top). She also upgraded my haircut by $30 because my hair is shoulder length. She never stated the upgrades to me as she was doing my hair. It wasnt until I was about to walk out the door that I realized the past two hours cost me $330.I know that the owner is planning on posting before and after pictures but please remember - angles and lighting can always be adjusted to make things look great (and the pictures did take her a good minute to take after she was done adjusting all the small pieces of hair that she missed with color).Take the opinion of someone getting their hair done for 10+ and please save yourself the time and money prior to going to this salon. I called many other salons all within a 10 mile radius and found that no stylists would have charged this much for what I got done. So turn your google search around and go to one of those other salons.

Had an appointment today for a color and haircut. Got a call an hour before my appointment that they have to cancel. I have a 3 month old at home and had my mom come over so that I can get my hair done but I guess its not happening today. Very unprofessional.
