I got my nails done here. and it’s looks so nice because the lady was really detailing to my nails. but a little bit disappointed when i was almost done, there was guy replace her, i think he was the owner and he didn’t really detail like the lady.

I highly recommend Johnny. I hadn’t had a pedicure all summer and my feet were a mess! Johnny removed the calluses from my feet, smoothed and evened out my toenails and made my feet look beautiful and feel great!

Walked in for a pedicure and got amazing service. It was the best pedicure Ive gotten in a long time. Very thorough and super friendly.

I found this place today and I can say that this people know what they are doing. Such a good Vietnamese place with a great vibe. Usually I am very picky about how ppl do my nails, but this place hit the spot. Great job! I definitely recommend Helens nails salon.

**Under new ownership** I was not aware they changed owners so I walked in confused when I did not recognize any of the employees. I was honestly afraid because I did not know the quality of their work but I WAS so pleased! I forgot the name of the lady who did my mani and pedi but wow it was amazing and she took her time perfecting my nails. I hope the service stays consistent!!

These people really care about their customers. I have had hundreds of manicures, this place is on the top of my list.

Nail tech took her time and was very detail oriented with the no chip manicure I got even though I was a walk-in. She also helped select a flattering nude color for me that looked absolutely perfect for my skin tone! Their prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

I came in here to get my acrylic nails removed. I had them done for a wedding in Detroit, and upon further investigation discovered that I didn’t get the standard acrylic that I asked for at the salon in Detroit. I’m still not sure what it was, but needless to say, it didn’t come off easily. The gentleman who helped me here at Helen’s nails patiently soaked and filed my nails for an hour. Eventually he got the acrylics off without any apparent damage to my nails or nail beds. He was obviously trying to remove them safely no matter how long it took, and I really appreciated his patience and concern for my nails. I just felt I needed to share this for others to read.

I had been a regular for a little over a year and made appointments each time. They knew me by name. So imagine my shock when I asked for a short almond shape and she did stilettos so short that each nail looked like an equilateral triangle. I have never seen nails like that in my life. I said I needed them taken off and she YELLED at me saying thats what I asked for an I had to pay for acrylics AND to take them off. I asked her (calmly) if she could fix them and she said I already took my appointment time up. I was so shocked I started crying and she took my card and told me to leave bc she had other customers coming for appointments.

I had a really good experience my first time here. The workers were very welcoming and the prices are reasonable. Ill definitely be back soon!

I found this place by accident after a HORRIBLE experience I had at another close by nail salon. They took great care of my nails and assured me that what I had gone through would not happen in their shop and they were not kidding!!! I have NEVER been so satisfied with a nail salon EVER!! They are absolutely amazing!!! They listen to exactly what you are looking for and they make it happen and all the while they hold great conversation and make you laugh!! I absolutely LOVE this place and I never want to go anywhere else!! If for any reason they move, I will follow them!!!! I love them!!!! And I HIGHLY recommend them!!!!!

My first visit here and I cant recommend it enough. Anna helped me to get the most perfect nails. She is very passionate about her craft and went all out to make my nails look the best ever. She was super friendly and helpful and my whole experience was great. I had some nails that were absolutely horrible that needed fixing and she did so without hesitation and as I said, did a stellar job. Throughout the process she also gave me lots of tips to keep my nails looking their best. Thanks Anna for being an inspiration. I would definitely recommend her and the salon.

Got acryllic nails done with no chip nail polish. The nail polish was poorly applied - my nails had uneven surface, hardly lasted 2 weeks and couldnt wait to remove them, because they were detaching from my nails. No care for my nails whatsoever. Just drilled my nails applied the acrylic powder and the nail polish and thats it. I really wanted to like it but not the case. Would not recommend.

I was there last friday and it was my 1st time here. I had a worst experience. Nail tech did horrible job on my nails. I had pedi and no chip manicure. Technician cut my all normal skin instead of cutting cuticle now all my finger has hang nails and it hurts. Painting skill was so bad.

First time here today! Went in because its closer to home than the place I normally went to, and Ill definitely be back! Super clean, upscale, modern, great prices, and my tech, Don (one of the owners), did a fantastic job on my full gel set! My nails were super short and difficult to glue tips onto, but he took his time to make sure everything was covered, shaped properly, and to my satisfaction. Super nice guy, too - engages you in good conversation, and hes excellent at what he does! Highly recommend this place for any Mani/Pedi! My new regular spot. :)

I have been going to Anna since I moved to Schaumburg over a year and a half ago. She is the greatest nail tech I have ever had. Shes very precise and pays attention to detail. She and her husband Don are very nice, accommodating, and all around good people. If you live or work in the area go in for a service to see what all the hype is about!!! :D

Started going here after my old nail salon started letting me down consistently with their quality of work. They are very friendly and the work areas are always clean.Just a heads up - there is a small dog that they keep in the back. If hes out hell wander the salon and greet customers. The first time I went there I was surprised to walk in and have a small barking dog bounding towards me. Hes harmless though.

Ive been coming here for about 5 years, about twice a year or so. The same people are there, so you know its a well run salon and that youll always get the same good quality.

My daughter and I went there today and I regret giving them a try. We both got mani & pedis with a deluxe pedi. Upgrading the pedi for $10 was a good choice it felt really relaxing. My daughters mani & pedi came out decent. My polish on my mani & pedi was horrible. I get 3 black nails 1 purple nail and a grey sparkle on 1 nail. My pedi looked like a child who cant stay within the lines did my toes. My mani wasnt any better. The lady put 3 coats of black nail polish on my nails and I can still see through my nail. My purple nails have 4 coats of polish because she kept messing up on them and still she missed part of my nail. The Grey sparkle turned out fine except that one of the tips already looks as if the polish is about to crack and its only been 3hrs since having them done. Every time I told her she missed a spot she made excuse like its how your nail is or its because you touched it but it was never because she did a horrible job. The guy offered to redo them but I was so fed up and I was already there for 3 hrs I said no i just wanted to leave. I paid and left. Will never go back again. I left a review on their FB page with pictures.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! I went in and asked if they could do an ombré fill for my nails and they said yes. I was told to sit down and wait, so I did. Fast forward to the part where the tech says “go wash your hands” and I come back there is no ombré effect on my nails. The top is pink and bottom is white. I ask for them to blend it in and they say that they don’t do the ombré effect. Helen starts yelling at me that I am talking non sense and she escalated and tells me that doesn’t care if I don’t like it I’m paying. Keep in mind the fill is not even done. I had only washed my hands at this point. They made me pay for my services and told me to come back smh. DO NOT GO THERE!

If I could give this less than one star I would. My sister went in to get her nails done (she never goes so this was a special occasion for her). She went in and askwd for GEL they then put an acrylic set on her (she doesnt know the difference since she never gets them done.) they claimed to be able to do ombré. Not the case- looked like a 2 year old tried to freehand French. She asked them to do a nude pink with glitter accents. They again FAILED and looks like a 2 year old did them- polish isnt even to the sides of the acrylic she DIDNT want. All in all she paid $85 plus a $10 tip. Sent me pictures and called me crying. I called to try and resolve the issue- Don answered and I asked to speak to the manager; they needed my name for that, gave them my name and then all of the sudden Don is the manager. In the end they wouldnt even listen to me and wanted her to come back and fix them- no offer for a refund its 8pm and she already spent over 2 hours there. And the acrylic set cannot be fixed. HORRIBLE nails, horrible service. Id give -10 stars if I could. Dont waste your time. AWFUL PLACE.

Horrible service I had an appointment made already and the lady didnt help me and took another customer over me and before that I called and asked them about if they do design on arylic nails and they said they do.. I asked a lady to show me she was like I dont know where I put them and I cant find color!! Made me wait for another lady and was waiting for an hour and totally wasted my time going there horrible place if u want trend and fashion nails... wouldnt recommend if u r trendy and like art nails they dont know anything about it!

My daughter (14) got a full set there and eyebrows waxed. Guy who did her nails was rough with her nails and they came out kinda sloppy. Girl who did her eyebrows was friendly but the eyebrows didnt look even in both sides
