We love our little apartment! My fiancé and I moved in almost a year ago and very happily just renewed our lease. They renovated the apartment before we moved in and all the appliances and ac unit are new and work amazing - we can keep our apartment cool without paying an arm and leg for electricity.We got one of the one bedroom downstairs apartments. Living in an apartment you are going to hear your neighbors BUT this is the quietest apartment we have lived in. We keep background noise going and overall are really content and have good neighbors.The management’s communication is awesome - the few issues we have had they got maintenance out within 24 hours and got everything fixed. All the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and make you feel so welcome.If you are looking for a good apartment you have found it. You will not find an apartment complex that has this great of staff, this great of apartment, and that’s this great on your wallet anywhere else in Savannah!

The price and the staff seemed like the only positives. Once we looked around, we could see this place is kind of a dump. Everything looked old and/or on the verge of breakdown. The area is also very questionable and even a little unsafe. The nearby schools are pretty bad and the neighbors appear to be mostly low rent or temporary and hoping to get out asap. You can hear EVERYTHING through the walls. That was the absolute deal breaker. We also saw a couple of dead roaches and that does not bode well. Thank goodness our profit sharing $$$ arrived in time and we were able to find a small house to purchase and restore. Were so grateful we didnt have to move in. I would have been embarrassed to have friends and family over as guests. Good luck.

I have currently lived in my new one bedroom for over a month. Me and my fiancée loved the treatment we received and how they are always around. We had one issue with a tub clogged and it was fixed the next day and the maintenance guy was very nice. Everything has worked perfectly in our apartment. The environment and neighbors are really nice and it’s quite. Our little puppy even loves it also !

I have lived here for almost a year and I can say that since day one if there is a problem management and maintenance will fix it, not in a day or two, a week, month or not at all .... Literally within an hour or before the day is out unless its something which requires major help and I havent experienced that. Spacious and reasonably priced. If you have any cares or concerns management will address them quickly so Im not sure where bad reviews come from because since Ive lived here I have not seen or heard of 95% of what Ive read in these reviews. Hats off to management and the maintenance for making great things happen. 😁😘

I just moved in and i regret it already and i just made it past a week. Everything is broken and hasn’t been fixed. Sink is broke, dish washer did not drain and over flowed, water leaked through the roof and flooded our entire floor. Outlets aren’t even put in right so you can’t use them and the air doesn’t work upstairs. Haven’t even been able to wash clothes because the washer pipes are messed up and a dryer vent has not been installed. So don’t even think about it, NEXT.

I have been at Spanish Villa for going on 8years and have never regretted a single moment. The apartments are spacious, maintenance is always on time with repairs, and the staff are just AWESOME!!! Very affordable. for the space you are getting.There have never been bad crime since I have been there except one incident that everyone want to make it an everyday situation and that is a total lie. I can never have anything bad to say about Spanish Villa. The only thing I can say is Thank you for just all you do!!!

As a current resident (2017) I dont feel appreciated. Ive had multiple issue that are never resolved. Weve had problems with our stove from the day we moved in (6 months ago) Our heating elements on the stove top and in the oven have shortages. They replaced one crappy stove with another old and used stove with basically the same issues. Ive been told I would have a prorated rent for my issues with the stove and that never happened. I was also told I would be getting a new stove but that had to wait until they dealt with the faulty wiring that caused an apartment to catch on fire. Also, when it rains (which happens all the time in Savannah) the upstairs air vent over the toilet leaks...Ive said something about it and was told they were working on the roofs. I guess just not mine. We’ve gotten lizards randomly coming in our town house because the weather-stripping at the front door is extremely thin. They fixed that by gluing a layer of weather-stripping over the bottom where the space was (not replacing it) which later fell off. For all the issues that go on in this place they are not worth the price.

I have been living here for a year, and even though some things break or stop working every now and then, maintenance man Jamie has always been on top of his game. The front office are filled with nice women. Nice place overall in my opinion.

Lived in this apartment with my family for 3 years. Just this past year, we had to relocate our son with other family members due to him being bullied at school, and by the same boy at the apartments. The office didnt hesitate to give my private information to the parents, not once, but twice, causing the parents to harass me at my front door. I rarely let my kids outside in fear of their safety, or playing in dog poop since tenants never cleaned up after their dogs. It took at least 6 months of having issues with our AC before they finally replaced it. Every Sunday when I got home from church and grocery shopping, it was guaranteed that someone would park in my space right in front of my door. Different tenants seem to have different rules for things. Did I mention the shooting four apartments away from my own. And I could usually smell cigarette smoke and other recreational drug smoke in my apartment through the vents. I will say, for the most part the staff is very nice, and was very understanding when you needed to pay your rent a little late. But you still had to pay $100 late fee and it could only be in the form of a money order. I know this is a lot to read, but its pretty upsetting when you have to send your child away so he can go to a better school and be in a better situation until we found a house. And the final bill that was sent to us was pretty outrageously high. I cleaned and scrubbed everything and was still charged for a dirty kitchen. Go figure!

So - its been about 4 days since the pool has been closed and the guy has told me it will take all day until they will be able to open the pool back up which is okay ( even tho the pool just been opened ) so I come to check the pool the next day I see a letter saying ( pool closed until Friday) so I asked the lady at be office when they will open the pool again she said in a few hours! Now its Saturday and both pools are still closed! Please fix it !

DO NOT live here! I can deal with the noisy neighbors, the dishwasher and the toilet breaking once a month, the super loud air conditioner, and even the neighborhood kids leaving their belongings in the vicinity of my apartment yard. What I cannot take are the ROACHES! We even found some in our freezer! No matter how much cleaning we do, they still get in all year around. Their so called pest control does nothing but open a cabinet, look inside, and then leave. Weve made complaints but all the people at the front desk every say is Theres nothing that can be done about it. You can look it up on Google. (We did look it up and theres plenty that can be done).They dont care about their residents once they get your money. I will definitely be leaving this place and never look back as soon as my lease is up.

Even though everyone else seems to not like SV I DEFINITELY did. My husband, daughter and I had a 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom. I was really big for our little family. We never had any pest control problems, beside the one little lizard that kept finding its way inside. The town houses are arranged so that the backyards form a square with a courtyard in the center, making for one huuuuge backyard. The only issues we ever really had were with our AC. the fan stopped working one day and it was blowing dirt all throughout our house. we had to leave the house ALL DAY. the maintenance man fixed it really fast for us though. Their customer service is great. One of the ladies in the rental office actually became one of me really good friends, even watching my daughter when i was in the hospital with my son. They keep the pool clean and are good with not letting non residents be in it. We stayed there a year and a half before having to move out of state due to the army. Now that were no longer arm, were moving back.

Dont live here if you care for your sanity. Unless you dont mind sharing your apartment with roaches, paying a lot for parts even though theyre cheap parts that break fast and dealing with management who smile in your face and stab you in the back. I made so many complaints about everything only to see it barely taken care of at the end of my lease. I was late for paying month and ask they wait 3 days for my paycheck to arrive, they said ok(the head of the management) and then hit me with a fine the first day and another the third. Do yourself a favor and go else where. Ive never seen anybody who lived here personally say they like living here.

This place... man, I tell ya. I can hear almost every conversation that my neighbors have through the wall, I can hear them playing music, my privacy blinds are broken, my shower rod is broken, my closet door is broken, the bathroom door struggles to close and re-open, my wooden fence is missing a post which enables easy access and vision into my yard AND apartment, my back sliding glass door is so outdated that it is constantly getting stuck open, I had to have maintence come fix weatherstripping in my front door because the gap was so big you could practically see inside of my apartment from outside, the washer and dryer in the LAUNDRY ROOM outside of the units are super old and don’t work the best either, the stove is definitely a fire hazard with its age and placement against the wall which has melting marks on it, and don’t get me started on electrical issues... okay, you deserve to know. ALL of my outlets are loose and can’t even hold a simple phone charger; whatever is plugged into the wall immediately falls out, and internet does not work. I’ve had the Comcast/xfinity guys out here twice in the past week and this place’s wiring is just too old. They need to go inside the building and fix the wiring itself, they told me, and that’s just not okay for an apartment in 2018. $850 is not bad rent for a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath dwelling, but for this place... it is certainly overpriced. I dont even feel safe here. I do not recommend it.

Nearly every AC unit is on deaths doorstep, and the internet doesnt work well in nearly every apartment. The wiring and ACs are from the 70s. They only do cosmetic improvements. I could give a damn about wood flooring if my AC and internet barely work. Other than that, I liked the place, but its been run down for too long, and they pretty much cant afford to fix the place.

This cant be life ... Its 99 degrees on July 6th and the pool is closed .... again ... It only took until July 1st to get the pool opened for the summer to begin with.This apartment complex is a huge disappointment! The staff is terribly incompetent, they never know anything. In addition nothing really gets fixed when you call maintenance, only an new coat or tape or paint to patch whats wrong. AND I SWEAR the picture above is NOT an accurate representation of the complex .. Do yourself a favor and rent someplace else..

Horrible customer service. Told us two if our four income stubs were invalid. Inconsistent and irritating process. The application process was too much of a hassle. We were stuck in between phases of our application process for almost 2 weeks, before we called it quits. Would not reccomend.

The worst customer service i have ever seen in my life. One word is enough to describe it: Disgusting. The stuff do not keep promise and so rough. That is i put one star. I think one is also too much for them.They insult me with discrimination, they even did not want to show their available houses for me. First they said they have available houses, then they saw i have an accent,i am foreigner and i am white then avoided showing available apartments they have. These reasons are enough to claim to human rights officee about this complex.

DO NOT!!!!! I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME NOR YOUR MONEY AT THIS ROACH MOTEL!!!!!! The first week I noticed roaches in the kitchen and in my eldest daughters room, called the front immediately and the said the would send pest control out to fix the problem. The next day pest control came and barely sprayed the apartment. The first month I stayed here the ceiling over my refrigerator started to leak. Called the office they put in a ticket for maintenance to come out. While Im on the phone with Christina (employer of Spanish Villa) she says to me, Oh that happens all the time! Maintenance came out the next day and said they would patch up the ceiling, but they dont have their supplies right now so they would come back the next day. You guessed correctly the never came back out to patch the ceiling. My refrigerator started to leak maintence came out the next day and fixed the issue, the leaked stopped for a whole 48 hours. The air conditioning upstairs still doesnt work someone came out to fix that and it still doesnt work. The handle on the refrigerator came off while my 5 year old was opening the refrigerator to get a juice. The towel rack that was hanging off the nails during the walk through of the apartment still has not been fixed. I moved in October 2015 and the towel rack still is broken after Christina said shell put in a ticket for it. I did she her jot it down. They are suppose to change the filters every month and my filter has only been changed once and thats only because I started to complain about the air conditioning not reaching upstairs. When the guy took off the filter it looked like years of dust and disgust on it. The shower head in the master bedroom stopped working. The front door knob had to be changed out after I kept complaining about not being able to unlock my door at times. Check this pest control is suppose to come every other month to spray the inside of the apartment Ive seen this guy come and spray once (and did a crappy job) and thats when I complained about the pest. The garbage deposal was so nasty it had the whole house stank I called the office AGAIN they came out and said the garbage deposal was full now at this point Ive only been in the apartment for 3 weeks. Apparently they never changed it out upon me moving in. The dish washer which I never use got backed up because of the garbage deposal according to maintence. While washing dishes the sink started leaking called the emergency maintence at this point and he asked which apartment I told him the apartment number and he said Yeah I wasnt the one who prepared that apartment but I will be there tomorrow! Long story I know, but just find somewhere else to live its not worth the headache.
