I went not knowing what to expect, and my nail lady (Kim) was very nice and funny. She knew how to do my acrylics just like I wanted them and took her time. I’ve had trouble finding a nail salon Because I never leave satisfied but she did an amazing job, I will definitely be going back in two weeks:)

Really great place. Out of all the places Ive been to around the area its CHEAP and CLEAN something you dont see too often.

Now under new management. Charged me 25 for a fill a three dollar upcharge to cut them down? Upcharge for top coat. Nail dryers, 3 out 4 didnt work! No massage. My nails are all shapes and sizes and sharp. Took 2+ hours for a fill!! Looks like a student did it. So many quality nail salons in the area. They will need to step it up to be successful here. Wont go back.

New to the area. Went to this Nail Salon & got a manicure and shellac. Really good service. Lady even help me out with the color. At the end of my appointment, They gave me a pen. Definitely coming back.

Place is dirty and doesn’t know how to put polish on correctly. Polish on my pedicure is on my cuticles and my French manicure is very sloppy - made my nails look short and stubby because she didn’t follow the nail line. Will have to go get it redone somewhere else. On top of that, made me bleed twice! She was very nice, but I’m not paying her to be nice, I’m paying her to do her job correctly.

The shop is under new ownership. Every time I pass by, the place is empty. While extremely clean and beautifully maintained, I dont like being lied to about prices. If you tell me one price over the phone and two days later its a much higher price in person, thats unacceptable. When I questioned it, I was blown off in a very disrespectful manner. Ill never go back. They did a lousy job on my nails, to boot. I much prefer the salon on Jackson Street. They do a superior job, are incredibly nice people, and I adore the owners. Plus, they dont lie about their pricing. Or at all.

Great service!! The people here are super friendly, the place its very clean and they have tons of colors to choose from. I get my Gel pedicure and manicure here. My nails are super well done and last a very long time. The designs are also pretty awesome.

Im so glad I found Van again. She has been doing my nails for over 10 years. I wont go anywhere else. She does a fabulous job and I always get compliments on my nails.

Rating one star because can not leave a minus 1. This place used to be great but i guess now they are under new ownership. It is close to my house so was really convenient to me just stop by whenever. Never had any problem going without appointment until last week when i went there and was standing for 5 min until someone asked if i had an appointment when i said no they starting talking with each other on their language until i interruped and asked what should i do, if i should wait or if should i go, until i decided to just go back home since they really did seem to care very much about me standing there trying to figure out if i was gonna have my nails done or not. Really rude people, i can drive 50 miles from now on to get my nails done but i am never going back there.

Fantastic place to go to. They really know what theyre doing! I usually pain my own nails, but I wanted to try having a professional do it and they lived up to my expectations!

Owner answers phone and this is the second time that she put me with whoever. When you call and ask for a specific person she always says they’re available even when they’re not even working that day. Person I got was adequate but don’t like being lied to. Loss my business.

I looked all over for a nail salon that does good nails. On a whim i went into Number 1 Nails & Spa. Thank God i did. I needed a pink and white fill and staff did an amazing job.

I google best nail salon in my area and the reviews on this one sold it for me. Tina did my gel manicure and I love how patient she was with me. I had wrist surgery and let her know and she was super gentle. All the ladies are very professional. FYI LADIES, if you really want to tip BRING CASH, they dont take tips on cards.

Ive been with Allure Nails for a long time and I was a little skeptical of the new manager, but after a few visits Im very satisfied. Very professional and meticulous and I loved the way Anna the owner did my eyebrows

This place was not the best for sure. The reason why I rated one star is the service. It was awful. The woman who served my mother was so rude. When my mother asked her to do her nails a specific way the nail technician would look the other way and completely ignore what she said... And the prices arent listed so they charge whatever they want. They charged my mom and I $20 for a fill, and then charged the woman next to us $18. She didnt ask if it was okay to take a few nails off, and of course she just did it and charged her for it. I will never go back here even if you paid me to. The place is dirty as hell as well. Go somewhere else! Somewhere that values potential new customers!!

Under new management. I had an appointment and was told my nails would be $15. I show up, the place is empty, I get asked an insane amount of questions, and I then get charged more than Id been quoted. In just a few days theyd decided to increase their rates from 20% off to 10? Maybe my math is off, but theres a verbal difference between fifteen and pretty much every other number. I know, because I heard clearly. Not the best job in the world (It started lifting three days later.) and I wont go back.

The staff ruined my nails by improperly scraping off a gel manicure. They barely left the acetone on at all and then scraped harshly, leaving my previously perfectly strong/healthy nails in a brittle, thin, flaky mess. I had never had a gel manicure removed before, so I was wary and unsure of how the process was supposed to go, but I could immediately tell this was wrong. When I questioned the technique and pointed out that the nail tech was damaging my nails, the other staff woman who was advising me got an attitude. She also had the nerve to suggest I get another gel manicure to cover and strengthen my now-damaged nails. No, thank you.I immediately went to another salon and recounted my experience, and they confirmed that they removed it incorrectly and too forcefully. I can only hope and pray that my nails grow back to their normal strength and health, but for now, they flake and chip at the slightest touch.

I stated going to Allure from a recommendation by a close friend. Its so hard to find shops with skilled technicians that know how to work with acrylic. Most today are all about gels and the new powder dip. I found the place to be immaculate and the owner, Vanessa, extremely accommodating. I explained to her that I have zero patience for shops that rush people who take the time and make appointments due to walk-ins. She assured me they do not engage in that and will ask a walk-in to come back if someones not free verses rushing their current customer. Its been 4 months and so far this has been honored. Vanessas freehand artwork is amazing. Please see the picture of the Pats symbol she drew for the Superbowl for me. You pick a picture from her phone and she can duplicate it to the letter. Her attention to detail with shaping the nails is fantastic, and her new husband, Jack who also works there, likes to pride himself as being responsible for her talent. Ive seen his work too and hes equally talented. Their spa pedicures are relaxing and you get a wonderful calf and foot message too. Absolutely love this shop and Ive tried many in the Melrose, Wakefield, Saugus, and Lynn area. None came close to Vanessas consistency and kindness.

I went there last September and am going again this week. They give a very relaxing foot and leg massage and my feet and legs were as smooth as can be afterwards. The nail polish on my toes lasted a long time. A+ I drive all the way from Needham to Saugus because its THAT worth it!

Ive been going there the past 5 years. The owner Jackie does a great job but her ATTITUDE towards some of her clients is rather rude. I did love how she does the nails/pedis but she will bark at you if you ask her questions etc. The last straw was I made an appt for this past Wednesday (two weeks prior) she text me to say she had a standing that was coming at 5, It was like who am I chop liver? When I went in to have my nails taken off she said I apologize and dont know what else to do but to me its mostly her attitude and that was the last straw. You need to be nice to all your customers no matter what and not come off with Ill select whom I speak to and not. Like I said other than her ATTITUDE I loved getting my nails done there every 2 weeks. Even when I was not working my 2nd job I made it appoint to go there even if it was every 3 weeks just to keep her business etc. I will miss going there but I work hard for my $$ and should be appreciated as well as my services. She didnt charge me to take the nails off but again it was her attitude the past few years changing my appointment and just barking at me or not even speaking to me at all during most of my visit. The other staff members are so very nice and kind. Hope Jackie will start treating her customers with a better attitude. Even other people that do not have her said she does have an attitude its too bad because her WORK is FABULOUS

Aluna has been my personal masseuse for ten years now. As a dentist I have had issues with my back and have been to many masseuses over the years . Aluna is very competent and knowledgeable practitioner . She is the best masseuse I have ever had and the only one I would go to.Dr John R Pallotta
