I will always go here now . I went on my lunch break. And not only did they fix someone elses mess. But she made my nails absolutely beautiful. And with my work they are still very beautiful. I cant explain all the wonderful things the tech did to fix my nails. The time she took. Made sure all along I was very happy. All I know. You guys forever have my business. I cant rave enough on how great you guys are..
Always loving go in there to get a manicure and pedicure. Everybodys so nice and kind and always happy
There are so many good nail salons in Massachusetts that is not worth it to spend time and money in this place. The gel didn’t stay on my nail longer than 1 week. The lady, who did my nails was not professional at all.
Vicky does a beautiful job on my french manicure she does it with the dip and she really does a fantastic job very pleased Thank you
Customer service might get lost in translation sometimes... But my girls really like this place... Quality work
I went here for a pedicure with my mom and let me tell you about their service, they do not know what they are doing, the lady that was taking me ripped out to much of my flesh from my toe and cause an infection that last over a year. if you’re ever thinking of getting a pedicure from here NEVER GO YOU WILL REGRET IT
Nice job....friendly service....
Good pedicure.
Pretty good
I had never been to this salon. The variety of colors for gel and regular polish is amazingly beautiful. The nail tech I had appeared experienced. I liked the toe polish color so much I failed to notice how poorly done my pedicure was done. Once home, I saw there was still old nail polish on my toes and nails not fully covered with color. I debated returning but I paid such a hefty amount. I think my tech was rushed because of another appointment- today I returned. I had to wait for the same tech to finish and then she did everything she missed yesterday !! I had a true pedicure completed!! She blamed my nails, dry skin, that I wanted perfection - but all other places i have been to have done a complete pedicure and color fully on my toe nails!! Thus I give them a 3 star - I had to lose an extra 1.5 hours to get it done right. I think she was just rushed !! Thank you for redo.
First time give a bad review. This was my first time and will also be my last time at this place. I had a very unpleasant experience at this place. The lady did it very quick as she rushed to serve the next customer. I had old gel on and she tried to peel it off my nail instead of gently removing it. I told her to leave it but she kept trying to pull it from my own nail😠. It was also painful when she tore off my cuticles that I kept telling her to be gentle. Never again.
Tammy does a great job with the eyebrows
Me and my girlfriend went into here and told us to pick a color my person disappeared for 20 minutes no word or anything from anyone where she went so I asked she said she went on break to eat...I got up and the workers said she needed to eat I told them she could of told me that she needed to eat instead of letting me sit there for 20 min thats not a way to conduct bussiness I have yet to receive ANY FORM of a appolgy. Dont waste your money here its very clear they dont care about their customers
Have been a customer for many years by appointment only, not a walk-in that you never see on a regular basis. I am an extremely good tipper and when they are busy with walk-in customers, you get rushed, half of the service you are paying for and your nails look like you did them yourself! Its all about the dollar with them not their work and/or the customer. Well, good luck with your walk/ins!!!
I was so disappointed by my visit that I felt the need to post a review. I only went there because they are open until late and I was leaving for vacation the next day. My nails came out horrible and super thick. Not only was the acrylic part thick, the gel that she put on top was patchy as she left lint pieces on the nail. I kept asking the tech to file them down to make them look more natural, and each time her response was “they are filed”. She wasn’t too happy about me asking her to shape them how I wanted them to. She started off doing a good job but the salon got very busy and she started rushing. I understand that you need to rush and help out, but I paid just as much money there as I would have at a top nail salon. Idk maybe it was my tech but I’m not willing to find out by going a second time. A waste of $84 as I took the nails off within days. It was just too embarrassing to show my hands.
My manicurist from another site wasn’t available, so I had to go to Tip Top at Square One Mall, Saugus, MA. After 11 days, I had to go to my manicurist, and she had to actually remove 4 of my acrylic nails. They were a mess. Took over an hour for her to do repairs, and she had to charge me more money. That was fine with me because I know they were done right. No more Tip Top for me.
They are usually very good. They would receive 5 stars if some of the girls wouldnt rush the pedicures.
As soon as we walked in, we were rushed into picking a color, signing our names in, and sitting down. The service did not feel comfortable at all and I felt terrible about giving her even 3 dollars worth of tips. The ladies that did mine and my mothers nails were a.) super fast and rushed, they did not even trim our cuticles well, and b.) very rude to us by rushing us to pick colors and sign our names in. Never returning here again.
Love this place and all the girls.
Today, 08/05/2019 I wentvto Tip Top Nails and Spa in the Saugus Square 1 Mall. As always, when visiting a nail salon I usually bring my own metal cuticle remover that I purchased at Sallys Beauty Supply as well as both my own nail polish and top coat (clear polish) as I take every caution to ensure that I do not aquire a condition of nail fungus from a person by sharing the community nail polish used on all Customers when the Staff says pick a color. I returned to this salon because the prior experience wasnt too bad after the wait, so I went there to give it another chance.Today, the person sitting at the second table on the right (near the store entrance) performed my services which was a manicure and pedicure. I received the pedicure first. Although I am an African American Woman and I do not speak the native language of the Staff, I sensed there was an issue with utilizing my personal cuticle remover as when the person performing my pedicure spoke to a person next to her who was doing someone elses pedicure and the woman begin to stare at the cuticle remover and giggle. I ignored the giggle from the second person and attempted to show the person there was a piece in the middle of the handle that needed to be turned to get the spring like movement (very similar to a metal nail clipper.) The woman said No, I dont want to use this, this is not the stores. I dont like it. This is yours you want me to use it so I will. When it came time to apply the nail polish, I was asked Is this the base coat? My response was, No, it is top coat. Please use this as a base coat as well. The Staff Member then abruptly left the pedicure chair and went to the Receptionist Desk and bent down. When she returned to the pedicure chair, she repeatedly shook the top coat and opened it. She kept the bottle tightly in her hands while applying the clear coat, then she applied the colored nail polish I brought and held the top coat bottle concealed in her hands while applying the final top coat. This odd behavior prompted me to look at the bottle when I reached the manicure table. The contents inside the bottle was not the same consistency the Revelon product was when I entered the store, instead now the top coat was watery and I know exactly what happened! During the time the Staff Member went behind the Receptionist Desk and disappeared from view, she either added Acetone or some sort of nail polish remover which changed the consistency of the product to a cheaper quality simply because she didnt like the fact that I want to use my personal nail polish and not the stores product.*Just a sidebar for anyone interested in Nail Health: if you find that your nails are turning yellow, or the nail on your small toe is getting to be or have a thick white or crumbly texture, or the corner of your large toe is turning grey or black it is because you either are showing the beginning signs of nail fungus or the Nail Salon has added Acetone to the polish and the Acetone is eating away at your healthy nails. Ask yourself how many times have you seen Staff squeeze something out of a plastic bottle in to a bottle of nail polish, close the nail polish and shake it before applying it to your toes? Why??... If there is not enough polish, wouldnt it be easier to say pick another color? When they thin out the polish it dries thicker in the bottle causing the need to thin the polish before using. Thats the word from a honest nail technician in Center City Philadelphia which prompted me to start buying and bringing my own nail polish. Back to the review, given the state of America combined with the fact that I am an African American Woman, and not wanting her to make it seem like I didnt want to pay for the service, I chose to have the cuticles removed from my fingers. I passed on the polish and hand rub and asked how much. I paid the $40. and left the top coat on her desk. Now after taking time to have a cooling off period, I am writing this review to tell everyone who takes the time to read reviews to consider taking your business elsewhere.
I would never go there again!!! I went in to get a refill and the lady rushed it! Usually takes less than an hour to do a refill but she did it in 15 minutes. She didn’t use enough of the acrylic powder she burned me a couple times! My nails look soo sloppy! The polish is all over like I can do a better job! Disappointed waste of my time and money
Horrible jobI write because she ruined the set I have on . So in 2 weeks when I go to my regular girl for a fill my girls gonna have to pull these off and put a new set on!!!!Ive have never gone to school to do nails but I would think it is pretty obvious you need to clean all the old Polish off before you start adding acrylic I said something to her twice and she still managed to ruin my nails.
They do an awesome job. Prices are good. Its clean and inviting.
If I could give negative starts I would. I went in on my lunch break to have a gel manicure, before starting I asked how long it would take and agreed the time fit in with my schedule. I chose my color and sat in the chair, my cuticle on my right thumb was bleeding from and the manicurist applied the first clear coat of gel and had to remove it TWICE! By this time I needed to get back to work so I left with the mess my nails were. I paid $15 (the gel manicure is originally $20) and was assured that upon my return my nails would be fixed at no additional charge. I went there and was asked if I could come back and if I wanted my nails fixed I would have to pay an additional charge! The customer service at this place is HORRIBLE and my nails are a disaster!
Pricey but really good
Awsome, I love Trish and nan
Thank you, Kieu your the Best!!!!!!
I went here because it was convient to me. but never again they did a horriable job. the shaping was horrible on my nails and I asked for the new SNS and she put a whole lot of nail polish and she put my hand under the light. never again will I go here
Had my very first mani pedi today. I will definitely return for another
This place is awesome, very friendly
My gel manicure chipped and peeled away the very next day. I went back to get them fixed and they were not thrilled and the new manicure was just as bad. And I saw them reuse equipment without sanitizing.
Great staff.Great service
