Exceptional service. I contacted Randy by phone today and was given an estimate. My wife and I brought the car in and Randy test drove it, brought it into the shop and inspected it while showing us both the brakes and ensuring no additional items were needed. The most honest team I have had experience with in the Sarasota automotive community. I bought a snazzy car with snazzy brakes in 2017. After only 30k miles, the dealer determined the brakes & rotors needed replacement. I was shocked, but obedient, not wanting to be unsafe or harmful to my vehicle. $1500/7 months/15k miles later, I was told they needed to be replaced AGAIN! Deciding a second opinion was necessary as I could not keep up this monetary pace, I said, thanks, no thanks and hunted down Randy. He listened to my story, asked the right questions, tracked down appropriate quality parts & estimated that the job would cost 1/3 of what the dealer quoted. THEN after removing the tires and checking out my existing brakes... told me I still had 75% life left in the pads and to come back and see them in at least a year. This time and assessment was at NO CHARGE. I fully intend to return to he and his son, David and give him all my future brake business. They are the real deal.

This place was recommended and I enjoyed reading all the reviews. Of course he is very polite. However, I have had a few different cars in the past 10 years or so and I have never had to pay what he quoted me for brakes! I was actually overwhelmed at the price, being that my brakes were not yet that bad. I realized he was giving me parts that were well over the basic parts I could by myself at any near by auto part store. So if you dont mind paying more for parts, then this place is for you. But for me, this was way out of my price range. I bought the parts myself and had a friend replace them, still paid labor, and came right on my budget. If you cant afford to invest almost $500.00 on pads and rotors, do some research, find other alternatives. I doubt this review will even be posted, but this is my opinion. I needed brakes at a reasonable price. I didnt need a good talker.

This is exactly what a car repair shop should be. When I called, Randy answered and set up a time for me to bring my car the following morning. He drove the car to test the brakes, gave me a competitive quote and then started the work on the spot. Upon arrival, I noticed a black Labrador Retriever in the shop and called her over. She greeted me and stayed by my side for several minutes. That made my day right there. I met her owner, Randy, and liked him right away. He shook my hand, thanked me for coming by and immediately he asked me to ride with him as he test drove the vehicle to determine the problem. He showed me exactly what the problem was, advised me of what I needed and then he called parts stores for the best prices on a couple different brake options. After a quick decision, he said the vehicle would be completed in about an hour, which it was. I returned to pick up the vehicle and we again took it for a test drive. By far best place Ive been to get my car serviced. Usually when a woman goes into an auto place its extremely uncomfortable and they try to rip you off. But Randy does excellent work with a fair price. Had all four brake pads and rotors replaced. Went from horrible grinding brakes to perfect condition. Ill definitely be going back for future service needs.

Randy drove with me and listened to the problem. He then quickly assessed the need and showed me the condition of both my front and rear brakes. He only recommended what needed to be fixed and then did so quickly. He is trustworthy and well worth recommending to anyone having brake issues.

Excellent service. One of the brake lines on my 1997 F250 had burst and I needed a new one made. Ford wanted to charge me $170 each for replacement parts, but Randy made them up by hand for $40 within a couple of hours.Fast service and excellent work.

Was on vacation in Sarasota, it became apparent my brakes needed replaced after arriving. I Called Randy on Monday morning at 8, he said come right down, and by 12 PM my brakes were all fixed for a reasonable price. Could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Took us in to the garage to look at the bad brakes, explained and SHOWED us what needed repaired and why. Never had a car repair person do this before. This is the brake shop to go to in Sarasota!

I have now been back to Randys brake repair three times for three different issues and every time him and his son have been great. Like other people have said he goes over all the issues that are wrong and any other issues that you should be aware of. If you need him for brakes, shocks, or cv joints dont go to anyone else but Randy. Him and his son are a amazing to work with. You will be happy with the service, speed and honesty! Plus he has a great dog that is a bonus if your a dog lover.
