A month ago I was having an issue with the starter on my car. I needed to find a mechanic close to home and a friend highly recommended Sarasota Motor Works. I called to schedule a time to bring the car in and was taken in right away. The owner, Rick Pallante, was super nice and gave me a quote as soon as he could in a fast manner. I gave Rick the labor of changing the rear axle bearing on my 2018 Toyota 4Runner.This is a complicated job requiring specialized tools and knowledge.Well we did have some complications, due to the nature of this work.However Rick and his team did power through and Kept his word on the estimate of cost.I am a mechanic in my own right, I can only say that Sarasota Motor Works is a very reputable auto repair shop.Furthermore I do fell lucky to have chosen them over other options.

Cracked a rim while visiting from Wisconsin. They took the car in right as I got there, were friendly and fast, had my tire changed over to the new rim in half an hour and all for a good price. Would recommend!

Rick was recommended to us by a very picky friend. So we thought we would try him out. He worked on two Mercedes. Both required serious work. He did an outstanding job on both cars. We were getting tired of over spending with the dealer and another service center. His work is excellent! And at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend him to anyone. He works on all makes and models of cars I believe.

My Ford F-150 started to show the check engine light which troubled me because I had to go out of town the next day. Rick got me in at 2:30, ran a diagnostic and fixed the problem by 4:30. Ive followed Rick for more than 15 years! He has proven to be honest, fast and an unbelievably talented mechanic to boot! Ive recommended friends and family alike, all of which have had similar experiences to my own. Over the years Rick has serviced our BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Infinity and more.

Yesterday (in a parking lot in a nearby strip mall) my key broke off in the ignition and I could neither get the key out nor start the car. Even though I was not a prior client, Rick came right over and fixed the problem. Then, just to be sure, he tried to start the car. Turns out the battery was dead. Rick ran right back to his place and returned with a battery charger. Bottom line: the car was fixed (at a VERY reasonable cost) and I was able to drive home. You cant find that kind of service or help like that any more. Highly recommend!
