Everyone was great professional. My son and I went there to scrap copper and we had aluminum wire mixed in with it. They were kind enough to let us know that we needed to sort it. The next time we go well be prepared I highly recommend these folks

DO NOT LET YOUR CAR GET TOWED HERE! They will do whatever they can to keep your car in storage. “Short staffed” is all they say. I was told to have my own tow truck come and get my car and guess what? Due to them being short staffed they refused to bring my car out even though I had a truck ready!!! Mind you they never told me that unless they were ready to go, I could not have my car back. WORST TOW COMPANY IN INDIANAPOLIS.

Friendly and honest service and usually are always competitive on pricing. Been a loyal customer for years and can say they have always been straight up and honest with me everytime.

Called and spoke with the dispatcher. She put me in touch with Brandon the Property management solution representative. Brandon is amazing and easy to work with. He has gotten us all of the legal signs needed to have vehicles removed from our private property. Give Zores a call for your private property towing. You wont be disappointed.

It was crowded and hot but the thhy moved everyone through at warp speed like usual.

They give you the option of scheduling a pick up. They show up on time and they are fast friendly and courteous. I definitely recommend. Nick the driver was very careful with my daughters SUV. I really appreciated that.

This company will tow your car and then tell you that you need to get a parking permit from tge rental office. The dispatcher say that they are just doing there job per the contract. My problem is that they half did there job because only one car was towed.

Do not buy parts from these guys. Very dishonest! We bought an engine for an Audi A4 in “running” condition. Engine was making all kinds of noises. We contacted them and got a “engine ran fine” answer and they denied taking the engine back. STAY AWAY!!

The directions are wrong. You cannot get there through the carriage house apartments. The guys inside were great, and very nice.

Called several places in Indy looking for a Nissan hubcap. no luck.. Finally I called place called Zores. A fellow named Rodrigo answered. He was so friendly and very interested in helping m...found one within less than 10 minutes. Picked it up today for very minimal price and they even put it on for me. Wow! it was like customer service 30 years ago. Call them first!

Recently had experience with the towing side of their business. I was thinking a neutral review bases on that experience. Today I had the (dis)pleasure of interacting with the owner. The word A$$HAT seems to be appropriate. I will never do business with this company again nor would I recommend it to any of my friends or enemies based on the experience with the owner.

The driver I interacted with was rude when I went to pick up my car.

The Karen at the front office couldnt have been more rude. I was up there 2 days in a row and both times she was rude as rude gets. I sold a junk car and she basically threw my check at me.I wont be using or recommending anyone again.

Zores illegally towed my brothers vehicle from the Sams Club located on Rockville Road. I filed a complaint with the city of Indianapolis. They went to the Sams Club and confirmed that Zores did not have the proper signage at the location. After being contacted by the city of Indianapolis, Zores ended up refunding the money they illegally collected from my brother. If your vehicle has been towed by Zores without your consent, it may be worthwhile to do some investigating to determine if the tow was illegal.

Pull back up to and on to the scale. Wait for green light then pull forward and out of the way. Go back to the window and collect any cash you may have coming to you.

Who needs AAA when you have Zores!?!?! Zores have been Indianapolis for a long time. They have served my family for 4 generations. The driver Brandon showed up on time, was friendly, professional, and took good care loading and transporting my vehicle. This company is so unfair. They don’t respect the law at all. they have violated my rights yesterday at sebring court, the law requires that before a car is been towed, to put a 24h sticker warning on it. I even have my parking permit on the vehicle and I have been living in the complex for 3 years. And on top of violating my rights, the man in the office was very rude with my wife, just because she asked a simple question. I’m nobody but I’ll do all I can to sue this company for this.

I am frustrated. My cars registration is expired by ONE WEEK because I havent been able to afford to get it renewed because of covid. Zores tagged my car on a TUESDAY morning just before 9am stating that it needed to have my up to date registration in the windshield and visible within 72 hours in order to not be towed. What am I supposed to do? That gives me until Friday morning less than an hour after BMV branches are open to get it renewed. The lines are crazy for the BMV branches, and I wont even get paid until NEXT Friday. Im at a loss.I feel like Im being scammed out of money that I dont have, and will probably lose my car completely all over one week.

Just had to say that Zores really came through when I needed them most last night, nothing but friendly and helpful people working there! Started out great, driver showed up in 5 minutes and had car loaded and site cleaned up in 10. Then he took another call with our car loaded. An hour later, we had to call to check on ETA so we could pick up alternative transportation for the next day.

This towe company has no respect. The lady that took care of me was unprofessional an did no good at customer service but thats besides the point I looked passed that because anyone could have a bad day. When I went to get my car my glove box was open with my things out of it nothing was tooken but they obviously went through my car, they couldve atleast put my things back where it was. I did not pay attention to the body of my car until I pulled off and made it home when I got home I noticed my paint was scratched on the drivers side its not big but it just shows how careless they was when they loaded my car on the bed. However for the towe my car was parked at a spot less than 24 hours.. and that wasnt my worries its more of the fact they did a horrible job. I dont post bad reviews EVER but this was ridiculous 😩

My car was impounded by airport police for driving on a suspended license (totally deserved and my fault). It was taken here. Their pricing, I thought, was shockingly fair: each day the car sits is only $30. I picked my car up the same day and I ended up paying $155. Compare that to a lot of other places, where the initial tow is $200+ and each day is $50+. The woman I spoke with on the phone was nice and got me the information I needed quickly, and when I went to pick the car up we were only there for a total of less than 10 minutes. Theyre efficient, fair, and easy to deal with.

While on a bike ride, my toddler age son had a mishap that caused his bike chain to fall loose. We didn’t have tools with us and were walking the bike home when a Zore’s tow truck passed by and stopped. The gentleman in the truck said “hey let’s get some tools out and help this young man get back on his bike”. This was not a towing service provided, this was just a kind person helping out a neighbor. I’m leaving this review because it speaks to the culture of the people working for this company. This was a very kind and helpful gesture made by a thoughtful man out doing his job. It’s important to recognize acts of kindness, and it’s important to recognize Zore’s for employing such quality people.

*****DO NOT GO TO THEM FOR HELP****Absolute WORST TOW SERVICE IN THE WORLD!!! I called them at 10am on a Saturday for a tow. They stated ok it will be a couple hours till they arrive. So I wait ALL THE WAY TILL 2:30pm and CALL BACK to ask whats going on. Just to be told that the Tow service had never been entered by there employee. So then they say there will be a tow out to you within the hour so I WAIT AGAIN it is now 4:30pm. I CALL BACK AGAIN! asking what is going on and the say we had to pick up another car they should be out shortly. So Ive been waiting for a TOW for OVER 7 hours!!! NO courtesy calls were given, No apology, No discount WHAT SO EVER! THEY TRULY DESERVE *ZERO* STARS! please I REPEAT DO WHATEVER YOU CAN to NOT CONTACT THEM

Terrible service, got shorted over $100 compared to other places. They made me wait over 45 min to weigh in, had unclear directions. Overall worst scrap yard Ive been to, will never go to ever again. If you need to get rid of scrap and get money fast just keep it. Youd be better off going somewhere else. Youd be better off picking up change off the ground in the Wal-Mart parking lot then to take scrap there for money.

A gaggle of geese could run a tow truck operation better than this place. They need to rename their company SORE’S towing, because you’ll be ready to bang your head into the wall after dealing with them. Incredibly rude. Clueless. Disorganized. They’re a hot mess.

Zores was called out by airport police to retrieve my vehicle after a truck pulled out in front of me. The guy who retrieved it was helpful, but what followed was a 48 hour run around where I kept releasing the vehicle and when my insurance company would try to retrieve it, they would be told that a release from Airport Police was needed. FINALLY, two days after they got the vehicle I had time to physically go to airport police, and ask for this release form that was supposedly so crucial. APD couldnt find any paperwork for the tow, so they called Zores, who told them, oh, yeah, it was picked up an hour ago. That screams SCAM since they knew insurance was paying, so they could milk an extra day and a half of storage out of them.

I paid for transmission and was told it was ready to be picked up but it was sold I live 40 minutes away I have been back and forth 4 times very unprofessional

I had a difficult tow situation yesterday as I lost a wheel on my boat trailer. They were quick and did an amazing job loading and unloading this huge boat on a flatbed tow truck. These guys were friendly fast and efficient. I expected it to take a long time being late at night but they were there fast. I wi never use anyone else if I ever end up needing another tow.

I had a large work truck break down. I called a few towing companies and they referred me to Zores. The driver and dispatcher were professional and did quality work. John, the driver, especially impressed me with his attitude and quality of work. I would recommend them to anyone with towing needs!

I used these guy today because the more popular towing services were to busy. These guy were polite an professional. Driver arrived when dispatcher said he would, undecked on truck took all of 15min. Price seemed to be about fair also 175 sound about right.

I called Zores in the middle of the night to get me off the interstate and to a mechanic. They told me the wait would be 1.5 - 2 hours, since they were busy. They actually got there closer to 1 hour later, which is the first time Ive ever had a tow truck show up EARLIER than they said they would. And the guy who came out was just really helpful and nice. He didnt just do the minimum (towing my car properly), but also communicated really well and was just genuinely a nice, caring guy. And the quote they gave me was exactly what I was charged.I hope to never need a tow in Indy again, but I know who Ill call if I do.

While their website says they are competitive and that they have the best prices on INSERT METAL HERE - when I called, they were 30-50% lower than anyone else I have spoken with today. They need to update their website as they are completely misrepresenting their pricing. Quoted $30 a ton for sheet steel when OmniSource (2 miles down the road) is paying $45-$50 is just one example.While it would be great to pile on to the hate fest - I will say that whoever answered the phone was not rude. He was short, curt but efficient and to the point. I think it is worth considering the type of industry your dealing with when reviewing the customer service aspect of a scrap yard. These guys deal with the roughest of the rough on a daily basis. They get calls like mine constantly which can wear on anyone. I didnt make any smart remarks or complain about the prices. These guys are the entry point to a highly competitive global commodities market - it is their job to buy low and sell high. If they can convince you to drop off your appliances and pay for recycling...they would.Bottom Line: When dealing with scrap yards, put on your big boy pants, wear your thick skin, walk in or call knowing that you are entering a harsh cut throat world of buyers who are not there to do you a favor. If you need a neck rub and a pat on the back - your going to get offended.That being said, there is absolutely no reason for anyone to be treated rudely, lied to, yelled at or harassed. If this happened to you - feel free to give a low rating however, I would ask that you examine how you approached the situation and own any fault/blame while highlighting the inappropriate behavior of the Zores employee.

I dont usually write reviews online, however I was very disappointed about this place That I decided to write a review about my experience. I called this place and they told me that they have a couple of cars, for the car that I was looking parts for, so when I arrived there and tried to get the parts that I need, staff were not very friendly and not very willing to help. I did not had the exactly name for the part I was looking for, so I asked if they come outside and take a look to the part I was looking for. One of them, said sure, so I went Outside and waited for about 10 min, and Nobody came out so I left.

This company is crazy expensive. I would not recommend. We had a piece of equipment moved on our property, less than 1 hour spent there and were charged $550. We were not told the hourly rate before we had the work done or we would have looked elsewhere.

Worst experience ever. Days prior to them picking my car up, we had agreed on a price they would pay me to take my car. Long story short, the tow truck comes, and the guy hands me a check for a smaller amount than what was discussed. i refused to take a smaller amount of what was agreed upon, even with message receipts that proved a higher price agreed upon. As a end result, he took my car down. The billing office was very unprofessional. The company seems to be unethical with bad business practices. Side note: Tow truck driver was a very nice guy, who seemed to be understandable.

I just called to ask if they could pick up some small appliance that are in my car. It clearly says on the website that they pick up. The man very rudely told me We dont do pick ups anymore. That was it he ended the conversation and as I ask for the address he told it too me way to quickly for me to even begin to write it down and then he hung up. Honestly, I was looking forward to recycling some of my broken old appliances but Id rather take them somewhere for free than deal with this company.

Definitely dont appreciate the employees catcalling me when I was going to get lunch with my 7yo son. Yelling hey mama several times even after I continued to ignore them. Zores must hire very disrespectful and impolite men to drive their wreckers. I would not feel comfortable calling these men to help me if I needed a tow. Try treating women in the neighborhood with respect.

Took to long on hold and never called back about my part

Needed two cars moved for parking lot maintenance. Told me it would be a little more than an hour wait; waited two hours and called for an eta; different person answered already sounding rude; I explain to him that Ive been waiting and just wanted an eta. He starts taking down all my information and I tell him I already gave my information to someone two hours ago. Why does he need that; puts me on hold for 5 minutes to tell me that the truck went to a different place and skipped me. Now its been 3 hours and Im still waiting to hear back from him on how long it will be before someone gets out here. Meanwhile I have a crew in overtime on a Saturday sitting in an apartment complex doing nothing because cars are in the way.

The only reason Im giving 1 star is because 0 is not an option!! Worst place ever they sale parts and dont know if they work! I purchased a transmission they told me it would be ready in two hours it took 32 hours so I missed out on my delivery guy. They said they would bring it on Saturday around 12 well by 2:30 no call no show so I call and they tell me the transmission had a hole in it!! Had to wait a few more days jus for them to give me a transmission that had metal in it and the transmission fluid looked like tar!!! I would not but a nut and bolt from these clowns!!!!

ALWAYS very friendly knowledgeable employees. I came in there on Saturday July 14th 2018 for a window switch. It was a employess birthday I was even offered a peice of cake. When I got home the part was different then what I needed and had no problems when I returned it. Thank all of you for helping people with a great attitude and definitely a smile.

A few things you need to know about their towing service;I was in an accident where I damaged the vehicle bad enough it was no longer driveable and injured my neck enough that I had to be stabilized and extracted from the vehicle. It took long enough that the tow truck showed up while I was still being removed from my car. I got the address for the yard, left my keys with the driver and went by ambulance to the hospital.My car was messed up. After going through all the stuff I went through, I got a certified letter from Zore a week later stating my vehicle had a salvage lien against it because it was towed as abandoned. Keep in mind, I spoke to the tow truck driver and he watched me get loaded into an ambulance.Thankfully my insurance dealt with these family oriented bottom feeders because they also charged $270 just to tow and store my vehicle (see more below) along with another $30 per day for storage. $500 for a week. To pick it up, drive 10 miles, drop it off and sit.Their yard is a mud pit. It had been raining anyway but my car was covered in mud from being dropped in their yard, and my insurance adjuster used these scumbags to tow it to the repair shop, so the inside was covered with mud, hand prints and boot tracks from the dirty slobs that work there. Yes my car was damaged, but it doesnt deserve to be caked in mud and my property disrespected which just added insult to injury.I didnt call because I googled it. The salvage lien is common practice. They would have sold my car as abandoned and probably do a fair amount of business from people who do truly abandon their vehicles. But it seems scummy to send someone whos obviously been in an accident that type of letter. And their fees are outrageously ridiculous. You are taking your chances dealing with these people.

Ran by Idiots! I called to have a car impounded that was parked in my drive way (prívate property). These Idiots gave rules that IMPD (Police) had never Heard of! Was given the run around and rudely talked TO by a Lady (Ill spare her name) about how i cut her off when she Was giving me rules that the Police mentioned they never Heard of. Called a second Company and they towed within the hour. I would give a 0 Star if i could!

They are the worst recovery/towing ever! They over charged and they are also racist. I have never experienced this service any where and I am a manager. Where ever you go and see their sign please be careful and avoid having your car towed.

I bought a transmission, and picked out the one I wanted, they didnt pull the one I picked out, and gave me one sitting around ending up being a bad transmission, so I had to go back and tell them to pull the transmission I picked out turned out to be a good transmission, and then I turn around and buy a car off of them and I have been trying to get the key to my car for 3 days and they keep on telling me they will call me back and they have not, you would think if someone just spent almost $900 at there junk yard I would get better service, I think the guys that run the yard are lazy, there honest but lazy
