On a 3,000 mile road trip we needed new tires on our popup trailer. We have reservations for the same night in Salinas but don’t want to have a blowout driving through San Francisco!McLea’s got us in the same day we called. We pulled up and they installed new tires on the trailer in 30 minutes flat. Bill was informative and friendly and we are back on the road with better tires and a sense of security for the second half of this trip.Thank you, McLea’s!!!

I brought my van to do breaks and alignment, was charged $600,00, waited 48h, at the end receive the van with the same problems, sponge break and vehicle not alignment. Was told that need to bring the vehicle back to them and they maybe fix it but would cost starting price $700 or more, and they were not sure they could fix it or not.

McLeas tire shop used to be my go-to tire shop but now Im never going there again. My most recent purchase (8/14/20) was for a single rim for my spare tire. I previously bought a set of 4 rims from Mcleas a few months prior and wanted a 5th to match the set.Tim ordered and mounted my tire on the wrong rim twice and when I got there I had to point out that the first time it was the wrong lug pattern and the second time (months later) it was the wrong spoke windows. I gave him the same part number every time and he had my previous order info to go off of too yet he got it wrong every time. I called the McLeas on Baker Avenue and gave the guy the part number and he called their supplier and told me they were in stock. 5 min later I called Tim and he told me the rims where actually discontinued a year ago (which was not true) and when I called him out on it he claimed he accidentally searched the wrong part number again! Just about a year later I got the correct rim finally... Bottom line, the process of getting my order fulfilled was riddled with careless mistakes and stretched the process out for an entire year. 2 dont trust Tim dont wait for him to call you when a product you paid for is back in stock. 8/22/21

McLeas is great. Ive been bringing my cars here for years. Today I had major front end work done to my Volvo and it runs like new! Highly recommend McLeas for all your auto needs.

Wonderful service! Very professional and knowledgeable. They not only treat you with such respect, but they also keep you informed on everything they are doing or suggest doing on your vehicle. They have an online platform where they log what they inspected on your car AND take pictures that you can look at. I am so happy I decided to start taking my Tacoma here.

Needed a tire patch from running over a screw. Called ahead and they got me in within a few hours. Upon arrival it took about 30 mins to patch the tires up. Great service and quick turn around time.

I sat there for a half hour without even a greeting. So I up and went to general tire down the block. Although they stole a dime bag of pot from me out of the glove box, at less least they greeted me and sold me a tire.

My venture with McLeas started with a quote on two front tires, for my truck. Matt was gracious enough to spend his time helping me. Tires were ordered and installed a few days later, as they arrived. They also took the time to inspect my vehicle and informed me of a couple of preventative maintenance services, that would improve my trucks performance. Throughout my entire experience, I never felt pressured whatsoever, just informed. I had my brakes bled as one of the preventive maintenance services and the alignment done there as well. Even though I already had an appointment elsewhere, to have those extra services done. Their level of customer service is above and beyond what I excepted! Their non-pressure approach, made me feel comfortable and I was pleased that I chose to take my truck there. I will be returning with my other two vehicles in near future. Shout out to Matt and the crew at McLeas! Thank you for what youve done to my thousand-dollar truck of a hooptie, you treated me as if i was dropping off a Ferrari.

They take great care of my Lexus ES 350. I dont take my car anywhere else. People are friendly, help out with discounts and provide excellent service. I needed 4 new tires, rotors brakes, alignment, etc. Totally fair price. Im very pleased with how my car is running.

After I grazed the center divide, I took my car to McLea’s to determine whether it was safe to continue driving. Very dissatisfied. Within 2 weeks ago I bought 2 brand new rear tires for my car in Quartz Hill Ca 15 minutes from where I live for $160.00 for both. At McLea’s I had to pay $307.35 for the same size 2 tires. I hit a curb while up in Santa Rosa and had 2 blow outs and had to get tires. Also the wait was awe full, approximately 1 hr just to mount them on the rims that I took off my car myself. I got charged for mounting and balance even though I put one on myself. After mounting 1 tire on the car with my donut I previously put on, I drove back to McLea’s only to wait another 45 minutes just to mount the other tire on the back replacing my donut. I would never recommend McLea’s. I think I got charged double the produce to my disclosure that I hit a curb, had 2 blow outs and live 6 hours a way in Los Angeles County. Sincerely, David Barned

I came into the shop needing a new tire or two, and was impressed to be helped right away. Jesse got on the phone to check around for my unique size of tire, and was determined to find a set to keep my cost low, and get my car safely back onto the road. I decided to go with all four new tires because of his honesty and no-pressure approach. He really made me feel that he was worried about the safety and doing the job right, rather than trying to make a profit. Now I get better gas mileage than I ever had before, and feel confident in the work that has been done to my vehicle. I will continue to go to McLeas and recommend them to all my friends and family.

Has one of the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen. Definitely can tell they care for thier customers, because of how clean thier bathroom is. Would definitely recommend this place.

Without an appointment, they determined the source of the leak on my tire, put on my spare, ordered the replacement and sent me on my way within 30 minutes. The next day, they replaced the spare with the new tire, again with out an appointment, and I was on my way within 20 minutes. Great service! Thank you for your professionalism and efficiency.

A battery cable had become loose which effected the performance of a two year old battery. McLea’s tightened everything up and said to return in a week if the performance did not improve. I returned, McLea’s honored the warranty and replaced the previously purchased battery at no charge, except for labor. Great service.

Turns out my water heater may not the leak but my timing chain cover. Which turns out to been the original leak (hence I still have a leak).

I made an appointment. Had to get a screw removed from my tire. Everything was great. Tire pressure was correctly set. So far the leak has been fixed. Employees are very friendly.

So I loved this place until about 12-18 months ago. I suddenly realized they try to upsell you every single time you go there.Now I understand that is the nature of the business but come on guys. Every time I went in to have something corrected under a warranty They would either tell me I need to buy all new tires or try to sell me some other BS.The same was true yesterday, once again, my newish tires (1 year old)need to be replaced... I went here instead of Costco even though they had a better price by $180 (they couldn’t match) because of their service.After it was all said and done the dude asked me if I wanted to talk to the store manager. I replied “why, it doesn’t matter, I just won’t buy here again.”I won’t be back. Big business wins again...sad.

I have bought 10 sets of Tires for various work and personal vehicles. A lot of the guys up front are hard workers, but what happens in the shop is different. Cotati store this week ruined my center caps on Aftermarket rims and Santa Rosa location balanced two out of four tires. Sent me down the road. I will be switching my Commercial account elsewhere. I could go on and on 9 yrs faithful customer no more.

I have been using McLeas for my car tires and automotive for many years both in Santa Rosa and Windsor. I went to McLeas for new low profile tires for my Taurus. I choose one brand and after a few trips in for rotations I was still having some unexplained vibration. They were very helpful in trying to figure out what the issue was, when it was decided that there was a defect in the tires. I went into Steve Sousa at the Piner Road store and he started the process to replace the tires. I changed tire brand and LOVE the ride that I have with my new tires. Steve was very helpful and I would recommend McLeas to anyone who asks and have on several occasions.

Spoke with a gentleman named Charlie.He was very professional and knowledgeable. Knew right away what needed to be repaired and what I needed to get my tires replaced. The service was quick. Made an apt at 830am and got my car back by 11am (which was the time quoted). Plus, they had a ride service to take me home and then pick me back up to get my car. That was fabulous! Just dont lock yourself out of your house, cause theyll have your keys lol. Id easily recommend McLeas for anyone seeking automotive services.

I had hoped to get my tire repaired, but where the damage was~ it couldnt be done. Reece made getting my tire replaced easy and I was especially pleased for I expected it to cost a lot more than it did. Super efficient and excellent communication because I came in knowing that I needed shocks and suspected there might be more suspension work that was needed. The guys at McClea’s did a thorough check of my car. This resulted in the identification of problems with my brakes that could have been really dangerous. They were great about showing me with pictures and videos all of the issues before proceeding (with my authorization) to do the repairs. Caught me up on 10 years of non-maintenance of my vehicle!

I thank these guys for fitting me in on short notice. I would have been stuck in Santa Rosa that night, which I did not prepare for, if they wouldnt have. Would definitely recommend this service station. Extra friendly and hospitable customer service, which is hard to find nowadays!

We are happy to have found this auto maintenance chain. Weve purchased tires for both of our cars an 07 Prius and 01 Camry. The service has always been excellent. Tires and parts have been promptly delivered. Repair times have been shorter than estimated. When weve taken one of our cars in for a problem the guys spend ample time with us asking and answering questions. We were never rushed thru this process. The work has always been done right the first time.

I have been to McLeas a couple of times so far when I have needed tires. Bill, the service manager, always gets me a great price and the service is great. I got the tires, had them mounted and balanced, and the front end aligned in about an hour. Although they are not real close to me, the price and service make it worth the drive.

On the way up to Santa Rosa was I ran over a screw. This place was right down the road from my hotel, and it was maybe an hour before they closed. Dropped in, they fit my in, and an hour later I had my tire repaired for $40. Really helpful and friendly staff.

The sales person was very nice and helpful. I think his name was Ronnie Oakes. The technicians were very helpful too. Good experience, except that my tire size was not in stock.

A curb jumped right out in front of my car and blew out my back right tire and McLea’s came to my rescue. This was my first visit to this shop. I was treated like they actually appreciated me being there. They also had a shuttle that took me to and from my office so I didnt have to lose time at work. I was there for a routine service, but it went well. At least I didnt have to explain how to reset the oil light like I did the last place that changed my oil! I will use them again.

I needed new tires for my 2005 camper van. I got the tires, wheel alignment, and oil change all taken care of. So far, so good.

Car repairs are never fun times. Steve and the guys at Mcleas make it easier to deal with though. We needed to help a family member with their car, it wasn’t running and a diagnostic was needed. A same day call tow and check up happened! We were able to leave the car without being charged while we figured out what todo next. We decided to go ahead with the repairs and they were done the next day.

Ive been going to McLeas for all of my car services for more than 10 years. They do excellent work - I do all my oil changes there as well as buy my tires, and have all necessary major services performed. They are super honest and very professional, gracefully take no for an answer, and treat me with respect as a female car owner. (You know what i mean!) Also, I think their pricing is pretty fair especially if you take advantage of their specials and loyalty program.

I went to the shop with all alerts telling me my tires needed air after all the Sonoma County pot holes created from our floods. I met Ronnie Oakes, he helped me in immediate fashion, for free and noticed my back tires needed replacing. He got back to me with a quote in an hour. I had a grueling schedule and put it off by two weeks. When I called back the service was OUTSTANDING! Had the tires in the next morning and job done with a 20 point check on my Mini Cooper in three hours! In and out with no BS, good work by the crew. I’m a customer for life. Thanks Ronnie for making my crazy work schedule work for me.

Not a quick oil change place... very busy and requires an appointment several days out for an oil change. Probably excellent work, but only for those whose schedules allow you to schedule such things instead of squeezing them in between other tasks.

They work really well and fast. I changed two wheels, made a balance and alignment in just three hours, in another place I put in three hours so that only the wheel was sealed.

McLeas is great! The guys never talk down to me because I am a woman. They help me understand the problem and deal with it. Honest mechanics really are hard to come by. I was totally ripped off by someone else. I wont go anywhere else now! Even though my old VW has multiple issues McLeas will fix her up every time! Some places wont take her. Prices are on the mark and much better than the dealerships!

They do good good work and they handle themselves very professional the mechanics are wonderful and the whole staff seems to be friendly. And have a great. Manager name Steve Salsa. In the always taking care of my vehicles. And thats why there still on the road. After 250,000 miles.

I went in and dropped my car off to see what was wrong with my battery and/or alternator. I waited 3.5 hours for them to tell me I needed a new alternator and I infact, DONT need a new alternator. I needed a new battery. They were going to charge me $1000 for a new alternator & installment. Oh and I watched the workers help and complete all the cars before mine. It sat in the garage while they did nothing. It was a complete waste of time and my day, and they charged me $100 for that. I don’t recommend them, unless it’s tire related. The guy that helped me had no idea what he was doing.

Excellent attentive service, got new tires in less than an hour and the van feels great on the road now. Family owned and operated. Friendly service. Coffee, water, tv magazines and internet in the lounge while you wait. Im sure Ill be back when I need the tires rotated or otherwise serviced.

I went to talk to one of the salesmen about having 4 new tires put on my Toyota RAV4 and told him that I could not afford top of the line tires. He said for 4 new tires would cost $565.00I agreed to that price and made the appointment for the next day.When I arrived the next day he went over the price he quoted and asked me if I wanted to have a wheel alignment. Well if course I thought that was included in the price but I found out later when they were finished putting the tires on that the wheel alignment was an extra $100.00I felt that he should have told me this the day before when he quoted me the price for the tires. And so for this reason I am giving them one star.U P D A T E: Monday January 14 The Manager at McLeas Tire learned of my bad experience and resolved the matter by refunding 50% of what I paid for the wheel alignment. And so for this reason I am changing my review from one star to a five star satisfaction. Id like to thank the Manager for working with me on this matter. Mark Silvia
