Everyone was super nice and they did beautiful nail art! it was also extremely affordable for a full set of acrylics and they gave me a student discount. they can pretty much do any design and you have tons of options for colors!! loved it there?

My daughter and I went here for the first time today and we were both very impressed with how pretty our nails turned out. Glow nails and spa was very clean, and everyone was very nice. We will definitely go back there again. Our manicurists were Linh and Kacey. Good times!

It was my first time coming to this spa and I am so glad that I chose this place. I saw the reviews online and I thought why not give it a try. I also saw the photos and I fell in love with her work. I called Saturday evening and she told me that her hand hurt because she cut it, but regardless of that, she chose to do my nails the very next day. My appointment was set for 10am, I got there and she was all ready for me. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she made them identical to it. Throughout the process, she kept asking me if the length was okay and shape, etc. She kept checking in with me making sure I liked what I saw. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. I am so happy I came here and couldnt be more grateful for the fact that she took time out of her day to do my nails, despite her hand hurting. 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back every time. I’ve never been a fan of getting manicures because there have always little imperfections that bother me enough that I pick at the polish. I wanted to treat myself and Sang talked me into a dip mani with tips. I asked a million questions and she gave me a million knowledgeable answers, checking in with me quite often to make sure I was happy with the look of my nails the whole time. She very clearly cares about her customers and goes out of her way to make sure they are more than satisfied. I will definitely be back again and again and again!

I am so impressed!! I chose this salon last minute because i’m in town for a wedding. Sang did my nails and Linh did my toes. They were both so careful, true perfectionists! I got an incredible leg massage too! I am very picky and they both exceeded my expectations. I have zero complaints. Karmen helped me check in and check out, she is absolutely adorable! I was so pleased with my dip manicure at Glow nails and spa. Everyone there was super nice and professional, checking in on me to make sure i was happy with what I was getting done. If this isnt already the place that you go to get your nails done, it needs to be. I paid the same I would pay back home in Iowa in Santa Barbara for a dip manicure and a gel pedicure. Very reasonable. Please please please support this business. Theyre trying to come back from struggling during covid.

I walked in with my three year old on a Saturday to fulfill her dream of her first mani/pedi. they were completely booked and busy. The other fancy spot around the corner wouldn’t find room but the owner at Glow couldn’t say no to her and made it happen while her clients nails were drying. She even gave her non toxic first layer for her virgin nails, not to mention she wouldn’t accept money and did it all out of the kindness of her heart. it was so sweet and I’ll now be a loyal customer.Friendly staff, clean, convenient location.

Living in Santa Barbara for the past 5 years, I have hopped around nail salons from Goleta to Carpinteria. Giving all businesses a fair shot with multiple visits— I have finally found my favorite! Glow Nails and Spa beats all of the others because they consistently deliver great quality with all of their services. Consistency is the number one trait that I look out for with any business that I choose to support! Glow Nails is that reliable business for me when it comes to my gel fills and pedicures. Their group of workers are professional, friendly, and very hard working. If you are looking for a new nail salon to try out, they have my biggest recommendation!

Tried Glow Nails for the first time this week and I really liked my experience here! This was my first nail salon visit since COVID, so I really appreciated that the salon was super clean with all the proper precautions in place (masks required, barriers, distancing, contactless payment, etc.) They literally had more colors than Ive ever seen at a nail salon, but I decided on a dip powder manicure from Sang and she was really great!! Im pretty particular with my nails because I have very small + slightly weak nails, but she was extremely gentle and detail-oriented throughout the whole process. I appreciated that she also made sure to check in often that I was liking how the nails were looking. Plus, they have a parking lot right out front! Highly recommend this place.

I had been getting acrylics at Nails Uptown (former name) for a year and was always happy with the result. I was hoping that the new management and new name, Glow Nails & Spa, would be just as good since it literally took me 2 years of searching for a good nail salon before I found Uptown. I moved to Santa Barbara 3 years ago and as someone who has had my nails done every 3--4 weeks for the last 15 years, let me just say I know the struggle in trying to find a good nail salon in Santa Barbara. I had tried every salon in town prior to that.Let me just say, YESSSSSSSS!!! I am thrilled and Glow Nails far surpassed my expectations. I have been an acrylic girl since I was a teenager, and I had only tried dipping powder once before (at a different popular nail salon in SB) and I was beyond disappointed--it was so flippin expensive and my nails all broke within a week of getting a full set from the other salon. I was skeptical to try them again, but I am SO happy I did! I got a full-set on December 12th using the dipping powder and I showed photos of the ombre, sparkly, winter-wonderland design I wanted since it was right before Christmas and NYE. The end result blew me away and was WAY better than any of the photos I had shown.Also mind-blowing... I just made an appointment for tomorrow, February 6th, to go back in for the first time since I originally got them done and ALL of my nails are still intact and I am still receiving compliments from people who want to know where I got them done! Sure, they are definitely growing out but the powder is not lifting and you have to look super close to notice that its time to get them redone.I am so excited to try something new tomorrow and will also be getting a pedicure--so stay tuned! :) love this place and I cannot recommend them enough!

I got my nails done here a few days ago and it was absolutely delightful. Glow nails is open safely for covid 19 with mask requirements, barriers, and required hand washing/sanitizing before they work on your hands. The woman who did my nails was named Kasey she was delightful to talk to and did an amazing job on my nails and even gave me some tips on how to take care of my cuticles. I will most definitely be returning to glow nails in the future

Great customer service, could honestly say I have not been to a salon who cared about making the clt (me) happy. Had my nails done for a family wedding and the nail artist had no problem working on my nails until I was satisfied. Very pleased and relieved to get my 87 year old mother a pedicure here at Glow. She had been cut off from regular foot care during Covid lockdown, so while visiting in SB we got an appointment with Sang and she got us in the next day. She was extremely conscientious about disinfecting and all the virus guidelines, and was just exceptionally nice and thorough with moms pedicure. My mother couldnt be happier.

Horrible service. They made my pedicure water so hot it burned my feet so bad and my mom’s water was freezing cold. We made an appointment for 3 people and they didn’t even start on the 3rd person until an HOUR after our scheduled appointment time and didn’t even acknowledge it or apologize. She cut two of my toes with the filer which was very painful and no one even greeted us really when we walked in. The nails did come out looking good, so I’ll give them that but would not recommend if you are looking for something relaxing and welcoming.
