This place is good if you don’t like to make appointments, just need your nails done vs high quality manicure, and you don’t care if the English is poor with some staff.They are fast and you can see how and where everything is sanitized.They do not honor their appointment times which has happened at least twice. I called for a 3 pm apt today. They asked me to come at 3:15. At 3:40 I still hadn’t even started to soak my gel manicure.Solution? I got the fastest manicure I ever had with no massage and got to pay full price. The owner did apologize and told me to walk in next time.So 3 star for this place is about right.

They were very kind people and did exactly what I asked for. They did a great job on my short nails and and a great job on my sisters long nails! Very clean place.

Prize is ridiculously high for the bad service. Service was rushed and my friends French dipped nails where so rough looked like it was the ladies first time doing them. My dip nails broke off by washing dishes on the second day so you can say it was the worst service ever.

I visited this salon while on a weekend trip. The gel manicure and the pedicure are terrible. The gel polish is so far from my cuticle it looks like I have a week of growth. It is also very sloppily painted. The pedicure did not even last 10 minutes and I still have dry skin hanging off my feet.The owner did my nails and she was rude and definitely making fun of every customer that came in, including my friend and I. DONT COME HERE!

This was a great salon! Very clean and friendly!! I am VERY picky and Andy did my nails so perfectly that I left feeling greatly satisfied! He really took his time to make sure the acrylic was laid just right and the polish was perfect.. impressive!!! Andy actually cared about his work and his clients happiness which is rare in the nail world. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for affordable beautiful work along with a friendly and professional environment! I will be coming back to this salon every chance I get. I went in for a pedicure and fill. Two women work on me at the same time. They were nice. But my pedicure was awful!!! The woman that’s the manager was with everyone and everything except me! The pedicure was a 10 minute pedicure. The just massaged half way for a few seconds and polish was all around my skin not my toe nails! My fill was in two different chairs. My nails were cut so short. While I was there a woman conducted her personal business. All the salon could hear. The the manager and her hot into it because the manager was VERY RUDE!!!! My experience at this nail salon was absolutely the worse! Never again ! Not worth the price! Never going back!

Their work is fine. The service is horrible. I think all women can relate to walking into a nail salon, feeling everyone checking you out, and nobody bothering to get up and help. It’s just awkward and rude. Like hi sorry to disturb you but I just got off the phone with you and you said you could get me right in? It was full when I got there but weirdly silent, and I just stood there feeling soooo unwelcome. I’ve been there before a few times and happen to tip 20% as I also work for tips. Today I just wanted my acrylics taken off and a manicure. They asked twice if I wanted gel and I politely said no thanks. They had to converse about what chair I could sit in, (it’s still silent otherwise), and I sat there for a good 10 mins checking my email, texts, work schedule etc I mean come on. It’s all about communicating. It doesn’t take much. I walked out and will never be back.

Started out to be a reasonably priced salon, but now it is crowded, and a bit overpriced for what they offer. They do good work if you can get in.

I got acrylic nails about 1 week ago and they are already starting to peel off. Very over priced. For a simple one color acrylics it was $50! NOT recommended.

My favorite nail salon in Santa Barbara. Andy and Emily both do a fantastic job at nail art. They have chrome, rainbow chrome, unicorn, ombré, the list goes on & on. Clean salon with positive vibes

Had a great experience getting my nails done here for my wedding. The staff was efficient and helpful.

I had received a gift certificate for a mani and pedi from my tenants. And it also included a $10 tip I was thinking wow maybe I found my new spot. Forget it, the girl that did both was horrible, my pedi took a total of 14 minutes and mani eve less than that. I couldnt believe it, I wanted to complain but It was a gift. She seriously treated me like if she was giving me the gift. But in the back of my head I knew that gift was guven to me for all the hard work and love I givemy tenants. I couldnt believe the treatment I had. I was outta there in 30 minutes tops. It was horrible service, Ill definitely stick to my nail shop on Milpas st.

Today I when with Eva to do our nails for Christmas omg they are so nice and my boys where playing out side with there cousin football and where dont care I just love this place I will go for the rest of my life here!!!!! To do my nails done!!! Oh and I pay $115 for both🤔😁 to much!!!!

Its a shame, not a LUX spa. Very rude owner, completely unprofessional service- for 70 dollars I got uneven gel coverage that got peeled off next day.

Great place for Mani Pedi and theres almost never a wait.

I was very disappointed with this salon. To begin, there was uncensored rap/hip-hop music playing, which I dont have a problem with, but it did create a non-relaxing environment. I got a gel manicure that not only took a long time but looked unprofessional and sloppy. I had nail polish dryed around my nails and I do not plan on returning. All in all, nice people and location but in my opinion, not worth the price.

Just went to Lux Nails for a pedicure and the lady I got rushed through the whole process making it unrelaxing and also doing a pretty bad job! This place is very expensive and not worth it at all! Super bummed!

Acceptable job on the manicure, fair prices, although it was very awkward being the only customer there with 10 employees, all of whom including the lady giving the manicure, were carrying on a conversation in a foreign language the entire time and almost zero interaction with the client... left a tip nevertheless, returning is a maybe though

$52 for a mani pedi that lasted less than 2 days. There was little attention paid to foot scrubbing either .. would not go back to this spot again.
