I came here on a limb to get a fresh set of acrylics. I’ve been to many, many salons and have never had such a bad experience I felt I needed to write a review- until now. Older lady was not gentle at all and cut the skin near my thumb. I told her it hurt and that I was uncomfortable. Without even asking, she just put nail glue on my cut! She also shaved my skin while using one of the drill tools. When I told her how much it hurt, she said I came in like that and it wasn’t her fault. To make things worse, the prices are way too overpriced. Needless to say, never coming back here again.

This is one of the best nail salons in Santa Barbara. I wouldn’t believe any negative reviews. They are so good that I call them perfectionists. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Beware! I went in for a manicure 12/30/18 and there were three people working. Peter, a super friendly woman who might be the owner, and the young girl who did my nails. She was friendly and efficient, but OH MY GOD just WAY too aggressive with the cuticle cutters. She cut my cuticles so far down it hurt. One finger ended up bleeding a little, and on a couple others you can see raw, red skin. It’s the day after now and most of my fingertips are sore where she cut the cuticles too much. It’s sucks because I have to use my hands to cook, and even warm water from the sink is making them hurt more. This has never happened to me before. She needs to be retrained.

My french tip full set looks amazing! The owner Tammy, was great, I had it done in less than 1 hour. Friendly service, I will definitely be back.

I am visiting from Palm Springs,looked up nail salons,Fancy nails was close to my sons house,liked there prices on their site.So I go,price on uInternet $14.00,I called the day before just to verify was told $16,00 Ok still fair price.So today my bill was $26.00,,I got a simple manicure no polish,the girl who need my nails spent all of 15 minutes with me,how does $16.00 plus $5.00 for what was suppose to be shiny buff,it was not ad up to $25.00 plus a dollar for using a credit cardWhen I get back to Palm Springs,I will get a real shiny buff.I come to Santa Barbara about 5x a year,will never go back there.It was a total rip off false advertising on there part,

Have been coming here for 6 months. Its a small shop, neat and clean. Ive spent up to 2 hours at other shops getting acrylic nails put on but Taylor, the owner here takes off old nails and does a full set in 1 hour. I love that he is quick and does a great job and my nails last for weeks.

Would not go back. Did not do a good job at all. I could of just done my own nails :(

Great manicures and pedicures. The owner, Tammy, is very bubbly and nice and is quick at the same time while keeping the quality of the services amazing! Best acrylic in Santa Barbara.

Very happy with the outcome of the nails but not happy with the price!! $72 for full acrylic set?! They charged me $42 for full acrylic set, $7 for the oval shape, and $20 because it was gel.. not worth it

The service was terrible! He did not listen to me when I was explaining what I wanted, price kept going up as he conveniently forgot to charge for this or that, and he gave me an attitude after I told him to stop. I paid for the crappy service I got, and left to go find another place to finish what he started.

Been going here for years only place I go for long last nails.Waiting time is long. Go first thing in the morning to beat the crowds

I just went there last Sunday, I’ve gone there ever sense I was in high school & they have always been so good, but the last couple of times I’ve gone my nails have looked so bad. They rushed through the French tip acrylic and there are bubbles everywhere and my nails are crooked and there is acrylic over the side of my fingernails on my skin and if I try to take it off it will take the whole nail off & while she was drilling she cut me atleast 6 times. I refuse to go back after having such horrible service after I’ve gone there for years. They have seriously lost their touch and I really hope the people that read these reviews take this review seriously and does not go here. I am not the only one this happened to. Tammy helped me and that is the last time I will ever go there because of her horrible service . DO NOT GO TO TAMMY! her husband Jim usually did mine but he had the day off. Absolute HORRIBLE service and HORRIBLE nails!

Very friendly, and they do a great job. 😉

The staff was very friendly, BUT the nail technician had me soak my hands in a bowl of acetone to remove gel polish which is dangerous for your health, and then proceeded to use a sandpaper wheel to remove the gel and ended up taking most of my finger nail, leaving them paper thin. I left without my manicure due to the intense nail damage.
