Just an ober all amazing experience for my daughter! A fun experience! And the stylists are GREAT!

Our boys are 4 and 5 and we’ve never taken them anywhere else. Ms. Karis has cut our oldest’s hair since he was a baby. He has autism and Karis and Katie are the only ones we trust. It’s not easy with a little one with major sensory issues but they’ve never been impatient with him or sacrifice quality. Two of the kindest and most professional people I’ve met. As a business manager I recognize when others truly care about their clients. Thank you both for all you do!

Katie did a GREAT job on my daughters hair cut! Super sweet and very clean organized place. Felt safe here during the pandemic.

Company does not accept online appointments nor did they answer their phone while attempting to set an appointment. I had the fun experience of finding out their online reservation system does not sync with what ever other system they use.To Whom ever manages this place.You need to follow up with people who make online reservations and let them know that their date and time slots are invalid so that they can plan accordingly, and not waste time.

Absolutely perfect. Hate that they are closing. It is very sad. Will never find a place as great as this one. My grandson loves it there.

We love Ms. Karis!! After several bad 1st experiences with our oldest son & his 1st few haircuts many years ago we ended up here after trying 5 or 6 other places. Its 6 years later now & we bring both of our boys to Ms. Karis regularly. Shes the best & well never go anywhere else, we always have a pleasant experience here.

We’ve been going here for 12 years now. Started with my ASD son’s first haircut. He’s now 15 and they do my grandchildren as well. We love Ms. Karis!!! ❤️

Ms. Tiffany did a great job! I took my 11 month old in for his first haircut and she was patient, careful and kind. Plus we also got a cute little certificate with a lock of his hair.

Literally the only place I take my son. Even if I have to drive over 30min from where we live. Definitely worth it!

Very nice experience for our kiddo. Staff is very attentive and friendly with kids. Cool chairs like a car, airplane for kids to sit on during the haircut. Nice toys to play with for kids if there is a wait time.

I brought my son here for his first official haircut (not done by Mommy lol) and they did an awesome job. I was a walk in but still had a fairly short wait. Tiffany was our stylist and she did a great job with my son and with his haircut. We will definitely be back again!

Most people who have left poor reviews on here did not make an appointment - if you don’t want to wait, make an appointment. You don’t go to a doctor or dentist without one, so why do it at a hair salon? I have been taking both of my boys there for 4 years now and I am very happy with the place. Karis and Tiffany are both great, and my oldest son who doesn’t like haircuts even does well with them. We are always happy with the results. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because I feel that they should consider hiring another stylist to make things run a little faster. Other than that, they are great!

The place was clean and bright. Our hair stylist was super sweet. Karis took great care of my 2.5 yr old son. Helped him feel comfortable and took her time giving him a great cut! Highly recommend this place!

Just had my 2 year olds first haircut and it was a great experience! There was great attention to detail and my son had a great time! They have everything needed to make it an enjoyable experience for the little ones. Highly recommend!

Clean, well trained staff. My little guy really doesn’t like hair cuts but they try so hard to get him to enjoy it while getting his hair cut. They work as fast as they can to get the job done. I was a little worried when I read the other reviews but gave them a shot Bc this is the only kids place close to me and I really needed his hair cut and I’ve been back since. The little guy has only had two cuts since but going back for another very soon.

Both of my children have only had their hair cut here. They are great with little kids and the first haircut package is really nice.

My son is only 8 1/2 months and the stylist was so great with him! My husband walked in with him right as they opened Sunday morning without an appointment but they took him right away and got him done in a timely manner and did a great job. She was gentle and great with him! That place has a great concept highly recommended.

We stood there for 15 minutes before being helped and another lady come in and they stopped to help her right away. Horrible service and this was supposed to be my sons first haircut. We walked out. If you want good service, go somewhere else.

They are patient saints who are underpaid. My son was a wild monster who floundered in the chair, they didnt even flinch! They are amazing!

Caris is amazing! Been taking our son since he was 7 months old (born with a head full). He didn’t like it and would cry terribly. Caris was so understanding and patient with him. No matter how much squirming, his hair always turned out good. Now he doesn’t mind and even lets her use loud clippers. Highly recommend her.

It was an absolutely horrible experience. The woman that cut my sons hair could care less if she was there or not. We showed her a picture of a style we wanted for his first hair cut and she said “well maybe I could try.” Try!? You either can or cannot! Then we showed her another style and she flat out said no(probably because she couldn’t execute that style either). She had no compassion for what was going on and had no idea what to do and was open about it because she was asking the other staff what she should do next. After all the confusion of what she was doing she took it upon herself to just hack away on my sons hair, literally grabbing hair and chopping it with scissors, not worrying about making it even or consistent with the previous spot she hacked on. Behind my sons ears looks absolutely ridiculous! One side of his head is squared around his ears and the other side has a bald spot 2 inches back and down where she just lopped it away. Then, with my sons head looking like he just had it cut by a dish disposal, said “Ok! We’re finished!” I was completely amazed at the lack of skill and knowledge this woman had which makes me question the skill level of the rest of the people this place employs. I don’t know how anyone could walk away from a job looking that bad and be happy when they go home. I feel like she knew she couldn’t cut his hair anymore to make it look half way decent so she just gave up in the middle of it. Due to the way this experience was and the way his head looks now and the back of it being more crooked than anything I have ever seen, I will NEVER take my kid back there and would not recommend this place to anyone! Good thing my son isn’t in school yet because I would have to keep him home until I could get him into somewhere more professional to fix the embarrassment on my sons head.

My 4 year old was scared to have her hair cut, but the kid friendly environment had her at ease within seconds of walking through the door. After a wash, cut, and style, my princess declared she liked her new hair style as well as the entire experience! Her hair looks great and was cut to the length and style I described. Clean facility, well trained staff, kid friendly with TVs, games, and toys.

I totally understand how hard to cut kids hair. And they do their best job. I always tip them good!!

I was dreading yesterday so afraid my son was going to freak out and not be able to get his whole head cut. But not the case at all! This place was amazing, quick but patient with my son. Ms. Kerris was great!

Took my grandson there for his first ever hair cut. They were absolutely wonderful! Though we traveled over an hour to them, were from Daytona theyre located near Oviedo, was well worth it. Its now become my grandsons salon.

Changed my rating from 5 star to 1 star. The present Customer service is not good and worst part is my kid started crying out of pain on his head while having an hair cut because the person hold his head too tight or not sure what she did. When we came back home we saw he has got small bump on his forehead like something hit on his head ...-----------------------------------------------------------This was my 2 year old sons first hair cut and trust me I have choosed the perfect place to treasure the memories. There are plenty of toys, toy chairs for hair cut, bubbles etc . The hair stylist Debbi was so patient and was listening to all our requests in styling the hair. She got the exact hair style on my kid which we requested for :-) any ways I would recommend this if any one is looking for hair cut for their kids!!

Oh man -- This place is the best. We walked in at opening time on a Sunday morning. There were 2 cuts ahead of us - but we only waited about 10min. My 2yr old son really enjoyed playing with the train table while we waited- When they called our name it was hard to pull him away! But we enticed him by giving him a lollipop and putting Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on his private TV in front of his Firetruck chair. Karis was our stylist - she is FANTASTIC. I knew he was going to squirm and fuss (because hes 2) but she knew that also - and she was prepared with tricks and ways to district him so we could get his full cooperation. She knows what shes doing and shes very courteous as well. Im sad it took us so long to find Cool Cuts! Previously I attempted taking him to my salon and other walk-in salons in our neighborhood - It makes perfect sense to me now to bring him to a kid salon where he can be properly accommodated and where the expectation is that he will act his age. Were new regulars and Im telling all my friends. :) Thanks, Karis!

Did our first hair cut today! I was anxious because my 2 yr old does not like his hair played with. But he was a trooper! Having a seat shaped like a car with wheel and Micky’s Playhouse on helped! Tiffany was gentle and patient. Will come back again :-)

Horrible rude customer service and staff. We came in at 5:30 pm to get my son a haircut. Stood at the counter forever before someone even came over or acknowledged us being there. They said they had two haircuts to do and wouldnt take another appointment and had a dont want to be bothered attitude. They say theyre open until 6pm, but the staff was just in a hurry to be out the door. No apology or any help was offered. Never coming back to this overpriced, rude place.

Staff assured me via phone that they had experience with ethnic hair but when we arrived the first woman was pacing anxiously and stalling, and told us that her coworker was better with ethnic hair. When that person finally arrived, she was very friendly and tried but the haircut and her techniques were horrible!!! We had to give suggestions just to help. My son cried because of how she tugged his hair. When a little white boy came in, the barber commented that he was an easy one because of his hair texture. We were offended! Found a barbershop called Klipperz and they fixed it and not a single tear. Serious training needed.

Im always satisfied with these ladies. They never disappoint and always have patience with my kids.

Ive taken my 2 boys for haircuts here for years. But the past few times weve gone, the stylist has been rude, many times acting like they do not want to be there. Most times there is only one person working. They just chop the hair and dont seem to care if it looks good or not. For the price we have to pay for a cut there, its not worth it to me anymore.

Im new to the area and was looking for a haircut place I could regularly take my son. Albeit I found this place just before school started and did not make an appointment but I was willing to wait so long as it took to get my son a nice dedicated haircut. My son has interesting hair as he has a cowlick that causes some cuts to be uneven when cut wet. I told the woman this before she started cutting his hair along with a picture from a book in their salon that I wanted for him. I told her if she cuts it wet to blow dry it and make sure its even. The lady asked me specific questions of which I answered like the picture and what looks good (I trust that a person who cuts hair would know how to do their job...I guess not). At the end of her cut she had the manager come by and cut some more and check it I guess...then she asked if the cut was fine and I had to tell her to blow dry his hair and remind her that it gets uneven when cut wet. She blew dry the back and not the front so I had to tell her to blow dry the whole thing. His hair was uneven so the manager evened it out but when I got home the cut was uneven...she must not have blow dried his entire hair fully. To add, when the manager was cutting it even she told me to tell them next time to cut his hair dry because he has a cowlick...honestly I was so annoyed at that point I just didnt want to tell her that I DID TELL THE CHICK THAT! I tried to fix it at home with really no time to go back because my son was starting his first day of kindergarten in just a couple of days and I had other obligations. My fix I think just made it worse because my profession is an Accountant not a child hair stylist/barber/haircutter/etc. My poor son and his first day of kindergarten pictures will forever hold the memory of this bad childrens haircut place. Ive decided to no longer bring my son to a childs cut place and find him a lifetime barber. Hopefully, they can do ten times better for half the price.Sincerely,A disappointed mother who should have read the reviews before I went here! Nevvveeerrr bringing my money back here.

I thought only one stylist was working so I didnt mind waiting. She had two boys she was working on. When my little one had to use the restroom I discovered two more employees sitting in the back... No one ever greeted us or told us an estimated time someone would be available. I let my children play in the waiting room for about 15 minutes and then walked out... Still no one said a thing....also, the place could use some tidying up... The waiting room had hair all over the seats, the carpet needed vacuuming and it could use a fresh coat of paint.

They normally do a good job but always seem understaffed. It’s 11:30am on a Saturday and only two people working?

Ms. Caris has cut my sons hair twice and has done a great job each time. I dont expect perfection when theyre trying to cut the hair of a fidgety 2.5 year old. Ive never made an appointment but only had to wait one of the times. Its just like if you show up to a nail salon on a Friday afternoon with no appointment... youre gonna wait!

They did a great job my son normally cries when it comes to hair cuts they were patient professional and didnt mind us staying and playing with the toy station after his hair cut. Thank you so much.

Took my son here and was extremely disappointed. The lady was very nice but I would think for 20 dollars a shampoo would be part of the package his haircut took all of a few minutes and honestly I dont think she took her time at all and it shows. There were two people waiting and one person in the whole place. Over priced and under staffed, wont be back

Good place to take kids, but long wait sometimes

WOW...this place is TERRIBLE!!! We have been here three times and all have been awful experiences. The first visit was our only childs very first hair cut and we were so excited for it. We showed up and there was one ahead of us but were suppose to be next. The lady took our info for the system and we chose the First hair cut package. Two walk ins came in and they ended up taking them. Another walk in had come and the called their name before ours. Obviously they knew we were there being that it had been 2 hours of a wait so far. We started to leave and asked why a first hair cut had to wait so long and come to find out they never put us on their schedule at all and forgot all about us!! They literally took the other child from the little car chair and made him upset so that they could then rush our poor childs very first hair cut experience. The second visit an hour wait and a rushed job with no compassion or empathy at all just rude same as last time. The third and final (today) a horrible wait and just the meanest stylists. Really you shouldnt work with children if you dont like them or have no idea what your doing with them. BTW take a baby wipe and check out just how disgustingly gross the train table is. If they really cared about children then cleanliness is important as well!! The Wal-Mart of hair cutteries!! Just go to a normal hair salon and bring a lollipop and cartoons and you will have a way better experience with a much cheaper price tag!

Useless.. highly unprofessional.. no concept for customer service. Dont expact a warm welcome or a little smile on their face. I have been their three times. The staff always behaves like they obliged you by cutting your kidds hair. They will give you hard time in every possible manner they can!!! Dont go there... thats my recommendation..

We rated them 1 star for their customer service. We walked in at 5:30pm and the female staff, who was doing sth else, said We close at 6pm. Thats it. Didnt even ask whether wed like to make an appointment or come back another day. Oh well, Im bringing my child to the place in Maitland.
