At 62 years old, I finally found a hair stylist worth her weight in GOLD in Paula! She CARED about what I wanted and gave me the BEST color and cut I’ve ever had! Thank you!

The people were nice, but my right ear was cut by their clippers and blood was drawn. The lady didnt mention it. I found out afterwards. The back of my head was also rather abruptly cut, and looks a little rushed. I dont think Ill be going back.

I called bc I was trying to get an appt for later in the week, nobody else was answering phones & idk who is open & whos not. I needed a foil, Paula called me back & asked if I could come in now, I got there in about 20 min. She did a full foil. It had been a long time since I had my hair done & it turned out beautiful. I didnt have it cut, I thought id like it to grow & cut w/next foil. I had my hair done there for yrs with another stylist but it had been awhile since Id been there. I will continue to have Paula do my hair from now on.My color is awesome 🥰 Im more than pleased.

After about 10 years as a loyal customer, I decided it was time to actually write a review. The 109 is really a special kind of a place. It is friendly, inexpensive and open every day. They have a first come, first served policy for hair cuts, but the wait usually isnt too long because they have several people working at a time. The stylists are very friendly and accommodating. Tell them what you want and they will do their best to make it happen. My experience has been that they are able to greet many of their customers by name because they have come to know them. The fact that so many people keep coming back is a testament to how special this place is. Aside from haircuts, they do eyebrow waxing and hair color (call first). There is ample free parking.

My boyfriend came here for a haircut, the woman cutting his hair told him he shouldnt get the haircut he wanted (a skinfade) because hed look like a little boy (hes 27) and she proceeded to cut his hair how she wanted. We will not be coming back.

Unfortunately they lost a customer (x3 the whole family) today. My sons hair was cut so badly that I had to take him to another local shop to have them fix it. He wanted a fade, with top of his hair a bit longer on top so he could comb it back and to the side with a pomade. It wasnt that hard of a cut and is popular with teens. What he got was a buzz with a hard line between the buzz and the long hair where the cutter cut the line uneven by almost an inch on the sides. After two years of our family being a regular It was singly the worst haircut weve gotten from there. It wont happen again.
