No complaints at all. Everything was done in a timely manner. I live out of state and the documents to sign were overnighted and were clearly marked in each area where a signature was required. I had some questions during the process and minutes after I text I had a text back with the answers. Overall very smooth.

Weve used First American for 2 home purchases and have been extremely pleased both times. Nicki is extremely thorough and knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. Even after closing she has been happy to answer questions and help. The customer service at First American has been top notch. We will be using them again for our future home purchases!

Just went through two home closings in the last month with First American Title in Rexburg. It was a comfortable and great experience both times. I was very appreciative of the kindness shown from the front desk from the moment we walked in the door. We worked with Scott both times. I was particularly impressed to find out that Scott came in on Memorial Day to get some paperwork prepped for the following Tuesday morning, knowing that we were on a little bit of a time crunch. Selling/buying homes can be a stressful experience and Scott really took some of that stress off. Thanks again!

When we moved to Rexburg Idaho three years ago we didnt know a soul. We found a house in a neighborhood that we really like and purchased a for sale by owner property. It became a very difficult transaction with many issues. Nicki Mortensen was our escrow officer. She did an excellent job navigating us through each step of the process and we successfully closed on the home. We appreciate everything that First American Title did for us and we have recommended them to many friends who have used their services. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them again and again.

This was the worst experience of my life! The agent, Nicki, doesnt know how to read the difference between debits and credits, and its her job! She told us we had $7200 of equity coming to us when we sold our home, and it turns out we had to pay $7200 at closing. She said she read it wrong. How do you mix that up? We scrambled and came up with money at closing, and when we talked to Scott Stears, the manager he promised us a gift card for $100 to Stockmans Restaurant as an apology and then never sent it. They are dishonest and incompetent. Go somewhere else to close on your home!
