Bad experiences with the leasing representatives and maintenance. A couple of things:- Even though you do a deep cleaning, they will still charge a huge move-out cleaning fee regardless of how clean it is. You will never know what their standard is, and they just want to charge you as much as they can. No pre inspections. Not responsive after you tell them you want to move out.- It will take quite a long time for the maintenance ticket to be responded. If you dont call them for updates, they will probably do nothing.- Valet trash is not always collected but you dont have access to the trash room. You will have to take your trash back to avoid a fine from the leasing company.

This is absolutely the worst apartment Ive ever experienced. The people at Leasing Office are very hypocritical. After I proposed to break lease and buy-out in advance, I asked the leasing Office how much I should pay the penalty, and they said $5,120 for 2 months rent, which I gladly accepted, because it is also written in the leasing contract. But when I moved out, they sent me a bill for $18,600 and asked me to pay the rest of the rent. It was absolutely commercial fraud. And when I moved out, they refused to Email me, instead referring me directly to their professional debt collection agency called KTS Law Collections department which never will answer the phone.During this serious pandemic, they ruined all my good mood and made me go through an extremely Deep, Dark Depression which cause I had to seek mental health help. Right now, the only way I can think of is to let my professional lawyer handle this mess.

I cant waste morr time with the leasing office.

Nice amenities and design (Staff has been nice too) but honestly the elevators just did it for me. They break down so often which is a huge inconvenience, and when they are actually working they are incredibly slow (even for the door to open/close). Thought it would be something that I could deal with but eventually it became really frustrating. To top it off, if you dont live at the corners of the building, you cant use the stairs effectively to try to accommodate. If they can make the elevator more reliable then this would actually be a nice place to live.

Our apartment was broken in when we lived there; lost 2 laptops and a DSLR. Afterwards the management team didn’t even send a warning notice to other tenants. They imposed this valet trash thing so we cannot access the trash room but need to have them out every day at certain time and hope someone would pick up. Also the elevator never worked. Moved out when our lease finally ended.

It’s a horrible place to live. Leasing office representatives don’t know how to do their job. Hallway always smells bad and there are cockroaches trough out the community. I even see them in the hallway when I walk.

I worked with Enu and Kimberly in the leasing office and my experience with both of them was truly seem less. They made moving into my new apartment a pleasant and enjoyable experience that was easy and affordable. I was offered promotions and my cost to move in was very reasonable to say the least. I highly recommend this business and the associates at the leasing office who help with applications and resident concerns.

Our stay at Venue Apartments has been great! And the staff, friendly, courteous, and very professional. And the main man in charge, Chris, is customer oriented, very helpful, a problem solver, and very professional. We had looked at many apartments before choosing Venue Apartments, and the main reason was because of Chris. The amenities here are great, and if they had an open job that fit my profile, Id work for them too! After Chris left, the service went down the drain. They forced us to put our garbage in the hallway. Not long when the hallway had garbage stains on the floor and stink. I asked to change our mailbox to a lower level so my wife could reach it. Told no.From a top place to a I dont care place. We didnt renew our lease.Larry G.

Living in venue for over 5 yrs, it used to be great getting worst every year. I have few tickets over a year old and they just get closed without ever getting resolved. Trash policy is horrible, when you come back home tired after hard day of work you are greeted with trash in corridors.

+1 for venue leasing friendly staff+2 for venue awesome maintenance staff+1 for clean, good apartments and community4/5 bcz apartments are expensive as compare to other nearby communities.Im staying here from 3 years. so if you are good with price, this apartment is good. Occasionally there are problems with elevators, garage gate, gym equipments but things break in all apartments.

Pros: friendly staff, apartment was sparkling clean on move-in, nice appliances, gas stove, large balcony, community eventsCons (-2): security concerns, courtesy patrol usually on their phones, uptick in crime (apt. break-in, garage vandalism), not enough security cameras, garage gate that easily allows for tailgating, elevators frequently down

I lived at The Venue for just over 2 years and 3 months. In that time I watched the place go from a nice looking friendly community to a dump with a hostile management team.In general, talking to the management team is as effective as talking to a wall - the answer is always no.This trash service they call Valet Living means coming home to your neighbors trash in the halls! Yuk!. When they first rolled out this genius plan few residents were using the service - so they locked the trash rooms to force the inmates to use it. They tell sappy stories about better management of the trash, but they charge an extra $25/month for it (with no option to opt out) so I guess it isnt more efficient after all.And yes - the elevators break down all the time, the remotes to the parking lot are hit and miss, the light-rail tracks nearby are noisy well into the night - especially on days that maintenance crews are out, and the place is very expensive. When my lease came up I moved elsewhere - then came the kicker: THEY KEPT MY DEPOSIT. They even demanded some extra payment (threatening me with credit score impact and debt collectors if I dont pony up within 14 days). Ive lived at many apartments, and have always gotten my deposit back in full. I was there during the pre-move inspection and the maintenance guy agreed the place looked well kept. I was charged for cleaning, painting, and carpet replacement (?!!) as well as 74 days of utilities. Seems they think the deposit check is theirs to keep if they can just come up with a rational for it.Good riddance!

This place is nice at a glance but after several years of living here, there are so many issues that have gone unanswered.*There are less than 300 units here and I realize that no apartment is perfect.Pros:Spacious modern layoutNice finishesVery kind and nice staff (I feel like there is only so much they can do)The staff listened and got more security when there was an uptick in crimeMaintenance requests are fast and they are really a nice group of folksThey paint frequently, vacuum and cleanAmazon hubGroup community eventsSome nice tenants and some will not speak (silicon valley norm)Very dog-friendlyFree parkingRenewal time they added wood and charged a fair increase after negotiations.Cons:Over the past 1.5 years, multiple elevators go out every monthValet trashPoor quality appliancesUtilities:Kitchen faucet water takes almost 3 minutes to get hot, thats 2.46 gallons lost per minute.water treatment facility located on 237 and TasmanVery poor cell for half of the entire complex on the backside. AT&T and Verizon in the parking garage and elevators are worthless. Xfinity wifi hotspot router is in the center of the complex, not enough range to service the complex.I was expecting quality for paying almost $3.5k/month in rent. After living in Silicon Valley for over 5 years this seems to be a trend for all corporate apartment complexes. No wonder why the quality of life is so low out here.

The garage door can Kill you.We moved into these apartments very recently and stuck by a horrific accident by the properties garage door which has an unique ineffective way of opening over the head. It flips vertically. Often it doesnt have sufficient sensing ability to detect cars that are passing through. Even after pressing the garage opening fob. It flipped on us instantly almost breaking/smashing our windshield on our faces. The property manager is so insensible to acknowledge the issue with gate and she repeatedly says the gate is fine and denies to fix it or cover damages to my car. Every time I pass under that garage gate now leaves me very nervous as it can smash my car and cause severe injuries. Completely unreliable and unsafe experience

The complex is nice and the location is great, but there are little nuisances here and there weve noticed now that weve been here for one year.Venue recently implemented a new trash service (Valet Waste) thats in addition to the trash room. We learned that it will be a $25 per month fee regardless if you use the service with no option to opt out. The $25/ month is ON TOP of the existing trash charge. Its one of the more expensive apartment complexes in the area. Venue also refuses to negotiate rent increases. The elevators break down once every other month or so, usually they fix those within a week. We live on the lower floor so we can always use the stairs, but I can imagine it being more troublesome to folks living on the higher floors. My keyfob to open the garage gate takes minutes to respond. Venue staff claimed thats how all keyfobs are and didnt want to replace it.The gym machines are always out of order.Updated: July 2019: See Venues reply below about stating that they have taken care of the elevator issues. Also note that elevator 4 has been down for the past month.

Another car break-in. The management essentially told the resident they cant or wont do anything. This place is a joke. Moving out and telling everyone not to live here. Courtesy patrol is a joke and completely worthless. Wheels getting stolen from cars INSIDE the gate. The security guard just sleeps in his car or hangs out in the bathroom all night.
