My best apartment in 16 yrs. in San Jose was my 6 years at 1776. Noise? Are you kidding me? Quietest place I ever lived. Complex is laid out as 1 longer S shaped winding avenue. I loved having a real garage and laundry IN every unit. Lush, stellar landscaping. U shaped kitchen, hallway storage, master bdrm had 2 closets, guests had 1 very large L shaped closet. I had a large lovely patio. I would have never ever moved. They never raised our rent for the 6 yrs. I was there. And then, a few days after I retired from teaching.....they gave me 60 days notice they were raising it 39%. So so sad. I had to move. But I have my photos and the memories of the friendly neighbors, the responsive office & maintenance staff and my ability to recover from knee replacement surgery on the quiet nearby streets of Willow Glen. Theres a waiting list to live here for so many reasons. Get on it, then dont retire so you can stay. Miss you dear Mgr. Jennifer.
