The apartment is fine with this price. But some neighbors here really noisy. Especially in pool area there’s lot of children and adults screaming and yelling. It’s legal but too noisy.

*ANOTHER UPDATE*We told them about the mold problem, expecting them to come clean some of it. They painted our window sill. Badly. These people are con aritsts and literally dont care if you get sick.*UPDATE*MOLD!BEWARE we just found mold all along our bedroom window that we had not pulled up the blinds of for a couple of weeks. This place sucks.Been living here for almost a year now and I cant wait to get out. Some of the staff (not all, but most) are rude and dont care about us at all. The very first day we moved in the door to the bedroom got jammed and I was stuck. No one ever answered the phone in the office and I had to BREAK MY SCREEN and jump out the window. I went to the office to complain, and after saying I was trapped in my room and nothing else, the rudest blonde lady said Okay so what am I supposed to do about it? Youre out now. If I hadnt already signed the lease, I would have picked up my things and left right then.Since then we have had nothing but trouble. Broken washer/dryer that took a week to get fixed, the gym on the capitol village circle side has been out of power for 2 weeks with no response from maintenance as to when it will be fixed. The front panel of our oven fell off a week ago and despite a high priority maintenance request, has not been fixed.Parking is an absolute nightmare. If you work late like I do you will be parking along the street or in the other complex (If you are lucky). I am a young woman and I am terrified of walking in the dark across the complex at night in this area.DO NOT MOVE HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

Do not let a fresh coat of paint and some stainless steel appliances for you. This place is horrible you will never get maintenance requests they do not attend too noisy and dirty neighbors they don’t care if somebody smokes in the premise even if it’s done right in front of the leasing office. We’ve had to suffer through a few of the worst months in our lives getting out of this place.

They towed my car from my own covered parking spot because I forgot the sticker. They towed the car at 2am without notice. When I asked to talk to a manager, they did not call me back. I had to post it on social media to get a response. Same person everyone is complaining about.I do not recommend this place. I regret moving in.

I live here almost for 2 years. Last week someone stolen my wheel caps, then they stolen my package in front of my home and last night which is 12/21/2020 stolen my shoes from my patio and 4 months ago some one parked in my own spot I asmed him to leavbefkre he leave he throw something on my car hood and left I paid 1500 to fix my car I request so many times for gate. I saw every night homeless people in out area and it looks like no one cares and every time when I call office they only said im sorry I paid $2400 for nothing thats why I see everyone moving out of this apartments. Go ahead and see people review and stars all people gave them 1 star

My wife and I moved in here with our daughter 6 months ago, we moved in because we had close long time friends that recommended it to us. It is our first experience living on our own and the apartment is nice and all that but the leasing office is a nightmare to deal with. We share our bathroom walls with someone who has lived there for so long and smokes everyday where the smoke and smell comes in through our bedroom and bathroom. Leasing office doesn’t do a thing about it after complaining for months. Then my car gets towed because my permit fell off the mirror. I had to pay $400 out of pocket..right before the holidays I don’t have that money to pay for my daughters Christmas gifts. Paying almost $30k a year to live here it’s insane to have this experience. They do nothing to make Anything better or to help it’s residents. When I complained the morning to explain how their system with the property security doesn’t work. The property should at least give a small fine of $25-$50 a day you don’t have your permit visible, not tow it to waste people time for making a mistake. It is not fair to feel i might not be able to make a full months payment because the property thinks everything is ok. Not only did I miss out on $400 to bail out my car I missed half a day of work. I complained to Jalissa in the office About the matter, she stated “Well I’m sorry you feel the way you do but don’t expect us to reimburse or compensate in any matter. We won’t do that.” If I knew I was gonna have this experience with the leasing office we would have never moved here. Very disappointed, very satisfactory, very disrespectful.

This management team who took over the apartment complex since Dec 2019 is totally clueless. The old apartments have very small and dated in-unit washers and dryers so they dont clean and dry clothes well. There was an on-site laundry room with decent machines which was extremely essential and helpful, you know what, the new management decided to close it permanently without giving any reasons, now we have to go to outside laundromat during the quarantine time. Also, they have endless people blowing leaves and cutting grasses a few days a week which is very loud and disturbing. Just avoid this place, the managers are clueless and have no people skills. Cant wait to move out.

Walls and floors may as well be paper. Ive been here for a year and a half, and havent been able to go 2 days without spending half my day listening to my neighbors music. I wish nothing more than to move out of my unit as soon as possible.

I second the other tenants experience, the outdoor maintenance work is very disturbing and unnecessarily frequent, it seems they hired excessive people for such work. It’s only Thursday this week and the same crew have shown up in the morning, doing the same work for three days, the noise they create is unbearable and drives us crazy. Also the laundry is a huge issue but they don’t offer solutions and ignore emails.

Extremely overpriced apartment. Creaky floors with every step throughout the entire unit. Loud ducks and pets in the community as well making work from home situation less than ideal. There is constant maintenance being done at early hours which is very disturbing, there are extremely noisy maintenance such as watering the sidewalks weekly and also leaf blowing which makes your car very dusty and dirty. You can never get ahold of the leasing office without having to go through 5-10 minutes of automated steps. As quarantine has been in place, there have been 2 days of no water from 9-5 which is extremely inconvenient as most residents are at home. Also constant police sirens in the area and you can always hear the SJ airport from here at all hours. I don’t recommend at all.

I started in a 2 bedroom 3 years ago. Since then I have up graded to a beautiful 3 bedroom ground floor home. It has been the best move yet. The 2 bedroom was nice and Cozy but I needed another bedroom and more space, it is the best choice I made to stay and upgrade then to go to another area or complex. My home is wonderful, very Pretty, a garden like area, a waterfall to admire, and the best neighbors I could ask for. Management is outstanding, service with a smile, Stephanie and Tracy are always with the door open ready to help you, office staff, Samantha and raul are great and make you feel right at home. Maintenance Pablo, Gerardo, Christian, James are all wonderful, they take care of all you need and stay on top of the work. This place is a beautiful place to be surroundings are like in a garden park they have all the amenities you could ask for. As far as the area theres plenty of shopping plenty of restaurants and banking for all your needs this is a great area to live in come and visit and youll see.

Ive been living in this community for about 1.5 years now. Id like start by saying I like my apartment here and its spacious compared to other, more expensive apartments closer to downtown San Jose. But sadly, thats the only nice thing I can say about this place.The community management team is the worst and have no sense of what customer service means. Briefly, heres my experience.1. No matter how many times you call the office, they will not pick up the phone. You leave a message, and no response. [Every time I need to talk to somebody from the office, Id call about 5 times and would have had to show up in person.]2. When you take time out of your day and show up in person, the staff is extremely rude (especially RAUL). They never really help you and Raul, once sent me back and asked me to come back later, even before asking how he could help me.3. When I first moved in to the community the leasing office was in a small apt. with Raul and 2 women - all of whom were extremely rude and would just make you wait even though they were doing nothing. They even mocked another resident after they left, which in my opinion was unnecessary (or dont do it in front of other residents).4. About 6 months back, they got a new leasing office with new staff and Raul. The new staff members have been pretty kind and helpful :)5. However, Rauls attitude has just gotten worse.Scenario: I needed help reserving the clubhouse. After trying to call the leasing office numerous times, I went in person to make an appointment to see the clubhouse. Instantly, Raul said he was busy, even though there were no clients. When I made an appointment for the next day, he didnt even bother to check if the clubhouse in occupied or not (it was occupied). When I went there with my husband, Raul already knew that he couldnt show us the place, but didnt bother to inform us and frankly didnt seem to even care about wasting our time.This was the last straw. I think this is unacceptable and the worst customer service Ive experienced. I dont even know whom to complain to, so Im putting it out here so that you are informed about he staff.

UPDATE: (new landlords/owners)VERY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT. STAY AWAY.Our lease was ending early February. We got a notice at the door some weeks before about the renewal and how they were going to increase the rent by $250. I emailed them back asking about the new lease forms so that I could sign them. At first I was fine staying here for another year EVEN with the issues stated in my previous review. But we got no clear answer, they sent the forms only to one of my roommates and then kept saying we had to sing them too but didn’t get anything!We didn’t give it much importance until 2 months later when we got a notice of abandonment on our door, at 5pm when the office closed and there was none to contact. Our stress went through the roof. We thought we were getting evicted.Next day they don’t answer my email so I have to end up calling myself. They said since they didn’t hear anything from us they thought we left. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? After we were completely ignored about our lease renewal forms???After being upset and threatening to sue for landlord harassment they apologize and offer a 6 month rent at the previous offered price. A joke, but we took it due to the current situation.Now, I’m asking for a reduction in rent due to all amenities closed but they couldn’t care less. This is what they said:“I would also like to inform you that the amenities are actually not included in the rent. There is not any portion of the rent that goes towards for example the pool or the fitness center. The rent is based off of the market rent for your particular unit.”Just know that when you move in to this place, they sell you the use of the amenities as a benefit to moving in to this place. But they clearly don’t believe that. Again, extremely poor management that doesn’t care at all about their tenants.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.Old review:It’s going to be close to a year that I’ve lived here but doubt I could do much longer. It’s been already two times they leave notices on everyone’s door saying they’re going to enter your apartment. Even if you’re not home, they’ll just let themselves in. They just tell you the dates they will and how long they’ll spend inside without explanation whatsoever. Beware if you’re thinking about moving here, you should be comfortable with strangers coming into your apartment two to three times a year.Also, they make it your responsibility to secure your pets. How do you secure a cat?? You can’t tie it up and if you lock it in a room they’ll throw themselves at the door. If you don’t secure them and they scape when they come in then... it’s your own fault.I was never told people were going to welcome themselves in without my presence at the time I signed the lease.Make sure you know what you’re signing up for before moving!

Only been living here a month but really enjoying it so far. My application process was a little complicated for various reasons but everyone at the leasing office was great, particularly Raul. Dealt with him on a number of occasions and he was able to help me out, always had great interactions with him. Looking forward to more good experiences at Sagemark!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. DO NOT give them your money or rent here. They have zero customer service skills and they are extremely fraudulent. They are liars about what they offer in their community. Jai Gordon, lied to us about what we would be paying as well as various amenities in the community before we applied. After application we found out that the information was invalid. We decided that it wasnt the right community for us and they said they were going to KEEP OUR DEPOSIT! for what? We didnt receive any services from them. I understand keeping the application fee but they LIED TO US! These people are con artists and the neighborhood is also extremely ghetto. Single pane windows and they dont communicate in a timely manner. We have asked to speak to a manger many times and we havent heard anything. Do not waste your time or your money.

Inept and lazy doesnt begin to describe the team that runs Sagemark Apartments. They change their name every few years, guessing to avoid bad reviews. Easily the most unprofessional team Ive dealt with. Sunita and Samantha are responsible and easy to deal with, the rest are a nightmare. Greystar should do themselves a favor and fire everyone except the two mentioned. They tried to charge us exorbitant fees for routine cleaning between tenants, claimed to reverse them once we complained enough. Been in a life and death struggle for nearly three months trying to reclaim whats left of our security deposit. Also be careful about what you are promised in a unit and what you actually get. That carpet theyre trying to charge us hundreds of dollars to clean was never supposed to be there in the first place as we were promised wood flooring like the model we walked through. Dont waste time with these crooks.

In the beginning every thing was gravy, probably because we were new customers. Once we moved in the rental office workers are not helpful at all. Any concerns that we have were disregard, even security matters. They just say “call the security patrol to report any disturbance. “ When you do call the private security, they are just as useless. We’ve been here for almost a year and we can’t wait to get out of this place 😡😡 For the price they charged us monthly$$$ definitely didn’t get our money worth!! WILL NOT RECOMMEND

I dont know what other people are talking but, Ive talked with Raul, Jai and the other team management and they were helpful. They had given a bigger spacing apartment and cheaper rent for myself and my roommates. Also the area surrounding our building is great and a clean environment super friendly neighbors and they allow pets. Ps Im a smoker, but I have to walk super far its worth the walk.

The manager Isabela will lie to you, Im glad that I canceled everything since they first quoted me $5600 for moving in and then 3 hours later they changed to $7000 dls thats insane i wont paid the high amount come on its not a house they renting its an apartment, please avoid this place the manager its a liar, I hope they give me my holding deposit $300 as soon as possible

I was very disappointed with the heavy set girl in the office she was very rude every time I called she said she would call back she never did then the short lady with heavy accent told me to put my 30 day notice which I did then I took my inspection paperwork over to the leading office the heavy set Mexican girl took my paperwork housing gave to me for inspection made copies of it which is not acceptable from housing you have to have originals then have my original inspection paperwork back to an told me she would call me which she never did to come fill out the part I needed to which was odd cause I could have done right then and then so when I tried to call her she never answered my call I called 3 times the third time I called it went to another office which they said they would call her so I can speak with her but it never happened so I had to look for something else which thank god I did I had to go over there the next day to get all my paperwork and I still have the copies she gave me from the inspection I would never recommend anyone to rent from this complex not good she needs to be fired cause I could have been out on my but with no where to go not good for business at all

Like others, never had such terrible experience while looking for an apartment! Never believe what those managers working in Sagemark said and promised or even the information show on their website. All for references regarding to the manager with blond hair told us.( no idea about her name due to she never introduced herself to us ) We dropped some other apartments due to the manager promised that we can move in right after all the paper work done; meanwhile, we checked if the certain date to move in would be doable as well on the website. However, when the day came, the managers denied everything they had promised and insisted that we could only move in 10- 14 days after sign up the contract. They also emphasized that it does require so many days to go through all the process to rent an apartment. The worst part is that they didnt even try to make an apology for that!! BTW, I rent another apartment in other property 3 hours after I left Sagemark and moved in right after signed up the contract.

***PLESE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE*** The leasing office never picks up the phone, maintenance will never show up on time, and when they do, they will just entered the apartment without notifying you first, I had two pets and this was really annoying. When I moved in, my apartment didnt have a coax cable or a phone line for internet connection, Xfinity was not able to install the service and SageMark management office kept avoiding the topic, they didnt want to get involved or spend money fixing it, I had to literally come to leasing office almost every single day to follow up, I was even told that upper management ordered not to fix it.They made me call to Xfinitys technician three times with same outcome (Xfinity denying to install coax cable through attic). Two months passed, and only then one of the maintenance guys decided to help me BUT he was only allowed to do it after his shift, CAN YOU BELIVE IT!!? We faced another issue with this community, our kitchen wall had an internal leak and the wood was rotten, maintenance came and the fixed the leak, however they left a small hole in the wall for almost 3 months.This community is not safe, they claim they are associated with a security company, but I never saw it.

Was trying to transfer to a new unit and was told everything they needed to do a transfer. Did everything they asked for and was told to pick up the key on the certain day and will have two days to move. I was at work on that day and my wife went to pick up the key and they told her that there is a lot more paperwork that needs to be done when they told me that everything was already done. Wasted half of the day by trying to do all the paperwork. Now we have only one and a half day to move which is BS and there will be a fee for an extra day. Since I have no choice I will have to get this apartment for now but will move out at end of this lease. I will never recommend anyone to this apartment theyre all trying rip you off.

To be gratefully honest. I am very unhappy on how I lived here for the past years I’ve been in sagemark. The office is absent most of the time so it is very difficult to contact about anything. Also, the power outage is a big problem. And one thing I am most unhappy about is how packages get stolen very easily because of how exposed the complex can be. And another thing I am going to write about here is how many stray cats are out in abouts at any time. No matter what time it is. You’ll see a bunch of cats. And if you’re allergic like me. Then I wouldn’t recommend living here. And also the payment is very high. Because lots of bougie wannabe white washed people be tryna live up in here treating it like a 5 star hotel even though y’all paying so much for nothing. Anyways have a swell day and stay hydrated. They just want your MONEY...NO customer service here..they broke into my garage and car and I file a police report and the so call LEASE team don’t care.Don’t trust them at all..don’t let them into your apartment when no one is home!FYI...Found Rat droppings on my porch and termites on the balcony, how do I know my brother is a pest control guy!!!! This been going on for months now. I’m done with them..it’s a good thing my lease is up soon.I left MANY voicemails and sent MANY emails with no call backs.It’s always the same thing MANAGER is out or in a meetings.DONT RENT FROM HERE!!!!

Terrible experience. Almost too many bad experiences to list. They dont answer their phones, they only call back if you are a potential tennant, not a current one, they dont email back. Multiple work orders with no resolution. Unsafe housing. Found multiple outlets not geounded. Patio has dry rot. Stairs wobbly. They did remodel though so they can jack up the prices.
