Ill give the FIVE STAR review to Sierrabrook when they start getting on top of their responsibilities and when I say that I mean their Maintenance workers need to be fired and replaced by employees whom actually have knowledge for fixing things and being on time to scheduled appointments as well as not procrastinating. Other than that management is really nice I I like the property manager and her associates that assist her, they are very cordial and I dont have to argue with them when I have an issue to report.

Absolutely terrible place to live. Wouldnt be worth it even if rent was $1 a month

They were not helpful during this pandemic kept posting three day notice and calling us non stop like come on we already lost our jobs due to covid-19 and now this! they left a a paper on my door to fill out and told me to drop it in a drop box that they dont even have smh top it all off the apartments have roaches and they very cheaply fix everything wouldnt recommend it

Such a scam! The moveout process is ridiculous. The leasing office does not respond once you move out and they wont even involve the tenants during the move out inspection. In-spite of spending for the apartment cleaning during move out, they still charge for cleaning. Their behavior is very rude. Please consider other apartments and avoid staying at SIERRABROOKS. I would give zero stars but google does not allow.

Current management (Greystar) team is the worse I have ever seen. They are not at all responsive. Maintenance request take days to get completed and sometimes they never get completed. Staff doesn’t have basic courtesy to talk plus there are numerous other issues.

This is the worst kind of management, especially Swati. She was so rude, not willing to listen to the tenant and she hung up on face when on call. The entire security deposit was eaten. The apartment is old and there is no security in the first place. For future tenants - DONT CONSIDER THESE APARTMENTS! The staff arent friendly AT ALL and they over charge in the move out notice with the most stupid and utterly ridiculous logic!!

We are residing here for last 1 year, and we are satisfied with the services and apartment features. Location is very good as the apartment is closed to VTA station and grocery stores like Safeway.

They need to upgrade their security. I live here but i dont feel safe. I just put my bike downstair to drink a water upstair and when i get back my bike is gone. If your management can read this please upgrade your security! Thanks

Why the Owner do not notice subject to the customer :- Monthly payment by Check Cashing not personal check.- Buy Accident insurance- Contact by self with PG&E for E.account- When rental application approved, the customer have to Welcome Letter so they will know after 72 hours withdrawn any reason whatsoever . The Security Deposit not refund .

Do not even think about living here. The application is the most rushed process done by the most spiteful desk workers. They ask for obscene amounts of money before even reading the lease. And they purposefully leave out a list of accounts and insurance you need prior to moving in. The consequence of not meeting their requirements in their impossible timeframe is losing your deposit AND not getting to rent there, which is more of a blessing.

I have being staying in Sierrabrook for more than a year now and it being a great stay so far. The staff are good and helpful. All the shopping, VTA station are very close.

One of the worst apartment in the bay area. Staffs are very rude and incompetent. Theyll put heavy fine for everything when you leave. Most of the units are infested with roaches and reported a few security issues. Ill never recommend this apartment.

Good location with close proximity to common amenities. Maintenance requests are promptly handled by management. Timely notification is provided for common maintenance activities. Management is responsive to resident questions and concerns.

Would like to see more get events to get residents get gelled in more frequently. Services have been good so far. Previous management used to give free in house wall paint for residents staying over 5 years. Would like to see something similar to be acted upon, to maintain quality of this apartment

Great, I am happy to live here. In last 1 year I was more then happy as expected.I liked most the gas stoves provided for cooking as I am Indian this is something wouldnt expecting to have that in apartment.

This is the only worst community you can find in Bay Area . Such a rude attitude staffs especially (Swati), . They will CHARGE like insane for no reasons when you are moving out . Lot of INCIDENTS that staffs over there will not even show any concern about . Not even 1% suitable community to stay with families . Not even single start worth !!

Overall satisfactory experience...Need improvements to common areas. All lights in parking should work and probably look into making the apartment more secure by making it restricted access.

There is no security in the apartments.Lot of cockroaches in the surroundings.

I have been here for a year and a half and at first things were going well until they werent. Too many roaches, mice and spiders. Current management is rude with no sense of uegency or the need to communicate with you. I had issues with my shower for literally 6 months and their maintenance rep. claimed nothing was wrong. I finally had to push them to fix and it was the worst communication ever. I had enough Swati is soooooo RUDE i am leaving this zoo.Dont recommend these units. Run if you can.

This is not a right place to live for families. series of theft and robbery happened during my 1 and half year stay. Management take very lightly such incidents and complaints. They say it simple its our responsibility take care of things . In general they always busy raising rents and penalties.Only plus point here is VTA train stop. if you still interested and planned to go there, Please investigate the house damages seriously(specially small damages)and report them at the beginning. or else your will end up pay huge money when you move out.

It was so horrible experience to live there. Above all, there was a gun shooting incident in front of my window. The neighborhood in this apartment is not safe. And the employees of the leasing center were so rude and they charged unexpected cost after moving out even though I cleaned up everything.

Location is good, but bad grievance redressal.They say its a non-smoking community, but all you can smell is weed here.On complaining to admin they ask you to collect evidence and then come .There are racial discrimination reports specially toward indian community by some abusive residents, and on complaint there is no action by admin though they admit complaints.Not recommended.

It is the worst society that I have seen in United States, management is very bad, nasty and unprofessional. you wont get any results/help after talking to them. 90 % of the time they are not even in office. Trivial issues such as fixing laundry card recharge machine took months. If you open a service request, it takes ages for them to respond. It is an open society (nongated) and vandalism is very frequent and even after repeated requests from residents, management is not willing to take any steps/precautionary measures.This is a pretty old society, and will never recommend this to anyone. Please go for other options in the same price/rent range.

So dissapointed..were trying to get a 2 bedroom and they ask money to run our credit after 2 days they told us were not approved and we spoked to swati and she ask us if i can ask my cousin to apply for the unit and she ask money for another credit checked we pay and after that she told my cousin the she has a record for eviction which is not true..she makes a lot of stories..she doesnt even checked my cousin credit but she got the money for nothing...really bad experience..

I have been living in Sierrabrook for quite sometime, management keep on changing. The current apartment management staff (Swati in specific )is the worst of all times. She is always very very rude, she cant talk politely and dosent pay attention to customer requests. (I heard similar feedback about Swati from almost 30 people who I am know in the community). when we ask for management contact details for filing complaints against her, she always mentions that she is the main person from the management and she cant give details of her manager.I will encourage other people also to write the reviews about Swati to make sure management understands the BIG pain of the residents of Sierrabrook.Recently multiple residents faced severe problems due to the replacement of water pipes in multiple apartements for almost 7-10 days. Management asked residents to stay out of house from morning 9 AM to 5PM for almost 7-10 days.Series of burglaries & chain snatching happened recently and still happening in the community. it is no longer treated as a safest place if the management does not take necessary actions.

Maintenance service is good and leasing staff is good with quick resolution to problems. Parties arranged are fun to attend and have a good time.

Definitely not worth money you pay, you can get way better place for that much money. This complex doesnt have any amenities, no gym, pool, park, not gated either. Management is nice till u sign lease and they turn around and become rude especially swati. you wont get deposit back plus have extra 500$ penalties when you move out. Suspicious cars parked along apartment at night, ppl drink and smoking weird stuff in them. I lived here for yr cz of being stuck in lease. definitely wont recommend this place to anyone, if you still wana live, take before and after pictures, might save you some money if u have proof.

Never ever think of leasing apartment in Sierrabrook.. Worse management.. No security. .5 to 10 chain snatching incidents. Lot of burglaries. Barbeque garden area is like a open bar and restaurant for outside people.. Anyone can come and have a party, shout and piss all over places.. When you call security they will never turn up.. This place is very unsafe to live..Indians beware ..Except VTA there is nothing..

A mini zoo with rats, cockroaches, snails. With lots of unwanted incidents happening recently, one has to live in this apartment with fear.

Horrible management we where waiting for someone to help us with leasing a new apartment inside the lobby cause we found the door open so we made our way in drank some water took a seat and waited moments later the tinny fat women came furiously at the door asking how we got in when it was here fault for not locking the door in the first place, disgusted by here rude attitude we stood up and left this lady should get fired on my opinion very unprofessional the way she handled this matter

I could give negative marks for the apartment the management is hopeless the society is bad, Swati tries every possible way to steal your money by cooking false stories and telling lies

There is no issue with apartment . but the leasing officer are very rude they will take advantage of you bad situation . you can not sublease also if you find any person . If they will get to know you are moving and you want to add any person in the lease also they will not accept . they will give you only one option break the lease . try to avoid this apartment .
