Told us our 5am flight was cancelled at 4:55am even though the airlines didn’t book a crew for the plane knowing it had mechanical issues but didn’t tell the passengers. Saved up United miles on my Credit Card for years for this trip and now lost a day because of their stupidity. Never flying United again!
Flight was early which was great, but they changed our flight without any notification and didnt allow us to take any carry on luggage. Also, the waiting room smelled like old urine. If you are poor and can afford nothing else its perfect, but if you have any money at all to spare fly anything else. 👌

Overall had a pretty great experience with United. FA’s are always super nice, have the most comfortable seats of any airline I have been on.
Pros: No delays and the basic one cup drink and small bag of snacks. Cons: customer service had a call wait time of about four hours, economy didnt let us bring a carry on, and they changed our whole flight time as well as layover location without notifying us (we only found out when we checked in a day before the flight).
Any time you wish to be treated poorly, they can provide. Get bumped from your flight, told the first class seat you bought is no longer available (but you may get a partial refund if you write a letter), pay unexpected fees, or be treated to a dirty seat in a plane with no working bathroom.
Website about baggage fee is hard to know if airlines charge with purchase. Agent told 1 need top click 7 times. Paid 37 for baggage fee. No carry on. Wont fly with them again.
Failed to have wheelchair at Tulsa,wS LAST off plane and held.up boarding flight because they dropped ball. Was told I could not fly with comfort dog...I am on Hospice,should have let me dog fly. Now lost forever and great saddness. So I have mixed feelings about United.
Inefficient staff who can’t do things faster. No printing available for check in I like other airlines. Pretty rude and stupid. Proves every time why I shouldn’t pick United.
Take care of us majority of the time. Cant say that for many others in this day and age.
United had Horrible customer service. I was in hold for more than 1.5 hours to get to someone...1.5 hours... Thats is unbelievable...I guess they just dont give a damn about their customers
I recently had the experience of attempting to help the daughter of two of Uniteds Pilots improve her driving to pass her DMV test. I spoke with Mark Connell, the father of the student. Based on the experience with this family I would say that United Airlines does a really, really poor job of hiring. Mark Connell called the same day of the last scheduled lesson and claimed that his daughter cried and told him I said she was a terrible driver (prior lesson), which was not true. I told her she was doing well and just needed to work on a couple of small issues in her driving. Mark also had an issue with the fact that payment was requested at the beginning of the lesson (as is our policy). Someone claiming to be the sister who lives in the State of MO repeated the untruthful statements on Yelp. Since the sister is in MO and was not present during the lesson; nor was Mark Connell present how can they state these untruths as facts?Clearly this is the type of people United hires - I would NEVER, EVER, EVER again do business with this Airline because of the lack of integrity of some of their personnel. We are amazed at the lack of integrity and truthfulness of this family and feel that they reflect on their employer.
They never respond to messages to customer service. They just get rid of customers.
United cancelled my flight without notice. I called their customer service (Manila, Phillipines based) who could not help, and ended up on hold for almost 10 hours! Not 9, but 10 (attaching screenshot) New record for sure!
I wouldn’t trust your quota hire pilots to fly a kite. Disgusting. Company should change their name to “Divided Airlines”.
We arrived thru Terminal A, and did not check luggage, so there is not much to say. In the past, this used to be the Southwest terminal, and the wait times on the luggage were long. But, that was years ago...
