Didnt care that I had to check my 18 inch suitcase cause the cabin filled up. Pack light and small to not check bag and still had to!

DONT FLY WITH THEMMy plane is taking off now. I rated this 5 so everyone would see it and be warned. I just want to say my experience has been so far has been a joke. We flew in a week ago via Delta had 2 lay overs (boarded 3 different planes) and took our backpacking bags with skateboards attached on everyone of them. We got all the way through security and were scanning our tickets to board the plane, when we were last second notified that our bags are to big to board the plane. So they decide they are going to do last second complimentary check in. So now that our bags are at a slim chance of successfully even making it with us to traverse city I’m already upset. We board the plane almost last and there are still several empty luggage racks. (We absolutely could’ve brought our things) Then we get down the hall and the boarding is being so rushed that 6-social distances are non-existent. We get to our seats and there is other people seated there that let us know this is where they got moved to by the flight attendant. Then we are told we need to sit with these people until further notice. So we are basically skin to skin with a stranger for about 10 minutes when we are supposed to be socially distance and the airline is supposed to be keeping every two seats open. This is absurd and disgraceful for the safety of their customers and should be dealt with accordingly. I will never fly American Airlines again.

Sudden change of seat, sudden change of gate. Then, flight delay for 2 hours. Missed connection, had everyone sleep in airport for 12 hours for next flight. Could not recommend.

A major airport placed within the 11th largest city in the country. So, with that in mind, they do try to fit in the space, but it is a compact airport. Always seems to have something under construction or remodeling. Advice for guests: leave plenty of time to clear security and return rentals. If you can get away with it, dont check your bags. Sometimes ground crews take extra time.

Easy check in if you dont have bags to check!! Security was super quick and chipper!

Terrible customer service. I flew here on American. They denied my pet to fly out. I have a 20lb dog in a carrier rated for up to 25lbs. I fly once a month. Have never had issue before. Woman behind the counter was on a power trip. No customer service. Delta had zero issue. Guess I will be switching airlines. Go Delta.

I have had pretty good luck with Americans! I know quite a few people that have had negative experiences but that has not been my experience. My experience has been one that is similar to most airlines. The seating can be a little cramped and the planes sometimes are delayed in arriving or leaving but I dont think all of that can be blamed on the airline. Sometimes it just comes down to luck. This weekend I took a trip to LAX on American and had quite an enjoyable time. On the way back I decided to splurge and upgrade to first class for 50 bucks. Best decision ever! Super comfy seat and the drinks and snacks served up in first class were fully worth what I paid extra.

Absolutely useless. AA cancelled our flight, booked us to a completely different airport scheduled 8 hours later, and charged for a check in bag.Susan was the most incompetent and confused check in person in their company.Would not recommend flying from here.

I literally have 100k miles in 2017 and none were on AA. I began trying them again this year, 2018, and EVERY SINGLE FLIGHT HAS BEEN A MESS. Late leaving causing lost connections, then apathy at the counter to accommodate their own screw ups. Mechanical issues on planes, with 1 he waiting.... no GPU AC... people literally using the safety cards as fans.... I have an AA advantage card that says customer since 1994.... and guess what ... I will stick with BA and Lufthansa going back and forth to Europe. Bye AA!

I have always been a lover of American Airlines, but today our flight got delayed 4 times! We were flying in from San Jose to Phoenix and my 1 yr. old niece was not having it. And its honestly a bummer that you have to pay for all of your luggage, you can only have 1 bag that fits under by the feet! Those rates add up!!!! Also, although there are angry customers about the delay, American Airline staff should not be rude to the customers when needing help.

The most horrible airline in the US. Due to their 4 hour delay we lost out connecting flight to Hawaii. To put the cherry on the top, they also lost our luggage which they delivered the next day at evening.

Ok, most of the people cant able to use kiosk for check in. Flights are delayed, lost the connection. Need to rebook the connection. Overall didnt have good experience

Creeping delay flight. Missed connection. Mislead us about availability of hotel in Dallas (had to sleep in airport). Complaint filed through website, no response.
