After a long time SIP. Heard a lot of bad experiences when traveling with airlines. Actual experience was not bad at all rather more pleasant wait. No delay, friendly staffs and surprisingly the seat 💺 is more roomy than expected. Free texting, movies and live TV. Internet is $8

Cheaper less frills travel with friendly staff and open seating,. Nonstop flight times worked well for my needs, and add-on ootions for hotel and car were nice. Would fly again.

I really love how Southwest is all about their customers - some of the coolest flight attendants work for this company. I love that they dont charge you for checked bags. I dont mind the choose your own seat policy - I think it helps with boarding so that you are just figuring out who you want to sit by (especially if you are in the C boarding group.

Fast and friendly! Our lady went the extra mile for us! They offer free masks! Planes were clean. Wish the flights didnt have so many layovers and plane changes! Part of the rewards group and they still have free bag checks!

So convenient. SWA gives you two free checked bags. The bag tagging kiosks are so quick and easy to use. Hand them to the ticket agent and your ready to go.Go upstairs to TSA. They now allow you to keep your items in the carry-on bag. Love it. When your done, enter the departure area and its not to far to any of the gates. Once you leave TSA (in purple In my picture), and you are departing from gates 23-27, the walking is minimal.Are you getting the theme here; convenience?

Fly on southwest especially orange county to San jose. Very rarely any issues. Staff has always been excellent

I am not sure what is going on with Southwest Airlines at this time, but my experience has been unacceptable. From my continuous flight changes, a few unaccommodating uncaring staff members, as well as the complete awareness that there are some understaffed issues going on. I had the most undesirable time on my flight coming home this past weekend. I normally fly with Southwest, but lately they have been having issues that truly need to be addressed. Patrons are agitated, aggravated, and irritated by the service that they now provide or the lack of. I would not suggest flying during this time until they have worked out their staffing issues.

Always my favorite airline. Delayed due to a Karen refusing to wear mask. Handled well, applaud their restraint. :)

This was worst flight for 2021, other than that was ok.Thursday 07-22-2021 our flight #116 SJC to Midway boarding was at 11:45am - to departed at 12:15pm.Unfortunately the flight got delay from 12:15pm to 1:16pm, they finally made announcement stating theres an issue and need to sign off some paper works?1:40pm announcement still working on the issue, I have no clue and I assumed there was a mechanical problem?2:55pm..annoucement they told the passengers, due to the weight on plane and still need to fill up fuel, otherwise will need to pump out the fuel, and stop to re-fuel so they continue to Midway after waiting for a long period of time on the plane ....I see about 44 people left with their carry-on luggage, they only offer water... no thank you3:52pm ...finally we departed at 3:52pm... our hotels we are staying will only hold the rooms until 12midnight, we already called in that there was a delayed on our flight...they dont care.It was a nightmare for me I have sinus congestion problem and was not able to keep my face mask on for longer period of time.

Flight was fine . But before takeoff there was a smell of carbonmonoxide inside the cabin even my grandkids smelled it . For that reason Im rating it low.

Would give Zero stars.3 of the last 3 flights we had were delayed or entirely changed, costing me not only time but missed wages from workNo notice at all of delays, forcing us to spend hours in the airport.Id be fine with the horribly cramped seating, the awful beverage options, and the rediculous open seating, but this is completely unacceptable, never flying southwest again

Easy to check bags--self tag and go--TSA had new machines so you can just leave everything in place in your bags, at the gate boarding was orderly by number and friendly. Seating only on window or aisle. Ill do it again!

Canceled our 1 stop flight last minute. Rebooked us for two days later on a 2 stop 11h flight. No reimbursement. No rebooking on different airline. Ruined our vacation!

Recently traveled from San Jose to Seattle. Southwest staff conducted business in a safe, friendly and professional manner during our trip.we were a bit concerned traveling during Covid-19 but once we seen how safe and cautious SWA was, we felt more at ease.

I was extremely impressed by the southwest gate agent and his customer service! He was even calling people by their first name, and was able to give the announcements and procedures in a humorous yet professional way. The plane itself also had very nice flight attendants. Also southwest has 2 free checked bags and cheap airline tickets, but the best part is that you get all of that without sacrificing any customer service or airline quality! Definitely the best bang for your buck when flying!

Southwest Airlines is the Greyhound of the sky. You take any seat you want, snacks and soft drinks are free, the seats are big enough to be comfortable, and the flight crews are entertaining.Usually Southwest offers the best fares. The ticket agents are friendly and knowledgeable. I know this sounds silly, but the airline acts like they are happy to have you there. What a pleasant surprise. Of course, everything is wheelchair accessible.

It’s an airline. A miracle. You fly through the air in a big metal tube. The parking for the Southwest baggage pickup at the San Jose airport, however, is superlative, in that you can often park right next to the carousels.

The flight felt relatively safe and cheap, at an affordable price. It is a great deal especially with being allowed free baggage.

Friendly and easy to navigate.

Southwest airline was a huge help even in covid time. The entire staff helped me get through the airport and on the airplane.

In walking from the Doubletree Hotel I was told to make a right on the trail do not do that at night early morning hours is dangerous and it would have it was far easy to just walk across the street to the airport. I dont know why they instructed you to turn that route

Both airports I flew out of kept changing their minds on what gate the plane was arriving in. The first plane I flew on had Boeing 737 Max 8 documents in it which was concerning, but comfortable. The return flight had less room and definitely felt dated.

Southwest is great. Have had excellent customer service from them multiple times. I prefer the no assigned seating which makes them my first choice for quick trips.

I love southwest in general. Sometimes (though rarely) I feel they are not price competitive if not on sale and there flight times can be very inconvenient. For example this summer I seem to pay 2x my usual rate. And in August through October Southwest does not offer an early morning flight from Portland to San Jose.

They treated me very bad and I heard them talking about my weight and it hurt my feelings

We love Southwest Airlines. Its our go-to airline. They have the best leg room, hands down (unless you can afford 1st class on another airline lol). Plus they still give snacks! Not just peanuts either 😎 I love it when the flight attendants are funny with the instructions they always have to give. Might as well entertain us too! And themselves as well, Im sure.

San jose to Chicago 6:50 am flight, left at 7:01. Upgrade pre-boarding was useless, TSA had a long wait time of approx 40 min today.737-800, nice seat, leg room is excellent, luggage handling was all self done.

I used to love southwest, but this trip was delay after delay(one of about 10hrs...slightly more). Lost baggage, that to be fair they found and delivered next day(which is why Im giving three stars). A manager giving me lip because I expected them to deliver my bag on a Sunday. Because if it arrived on Saturday it would have gotten shipped on monday(when we headed home). At least they have good customer service on the phone or this would have been a 1 star review

Cant complain. Great service for the price. Most often on time. The one time my flight was significantly delayed Southwest compensated me with a voucher without being prompted to do so.

No Seat Reservations 😎🤗. They do announce if we are late and wait for us few minutes which is awesome.

They have very quick boarding process, tickets are cheaper, you sit wherever you want.

Flight are getting delayed frequently these days. It was much better in the past. And the worst part is that they never ever compensate.

Cheap flight, free check-in bags up to two. Open seating, I can sit anywhere on the plane regradless of boarding number. Bathroom works, get pretels for with a small non-alcoholic drink for free. Bonus because of the open seatIng policy on Southwest, I met my husband of 14 years. Bon Voyage!
