I work at the Gallería down the street and always walk by this place. I saw cute photos on yelp so I decided to go since my nail technician is unavailable this month. Anyway I called ahead and scheduled a gel Full set because that is what I generally have done. The lady said $40 full set but with gel it would be $60 which I am used to as it varies $60-$80.Upon my arrival I discover that they don’t use gel fill just gel polish... first oops. Since I was there I decided it was just a little misunderstanding and decided to stay. I definitely wish I had not as the artificial nails were cut extremely short even though I specifically asked for long, almond nails. I even pointed to how long I wanted it to be once almond. I didn’t want to make a big deal of it because I get that there is a language barrier, but she stated she understood what I wanted. The first finger she cut looked fine so I didn’t pay attention when the rest began to decrease in length until it was too late.I asked her to remove the short ones because they were not the length I wanted, but she insisted it was my fault and I had to pay extra for removal. I was baffled and completely frustrated. After long back and forth they agreed to remove all the artificial nails. My hands are disgustingly dry and wrinkled after the removal process.Needless to say, I will never return here and I hope this does not occur to anyone else. Definitely waiting for my gal to come back.
Gel manicure is going strong after 2 weeks despite a very rushed process that I thought got botched. So I’m happy about that and even happier with the price. Skip the pedicure and go to tip toes instead. At mademoiselle they dunk your feet into a metal bowl and the chair isn’t comfy at all. My pedicure got ruined immediately after putting my shoes on despite the workers helping me.
Been here a few times and the manicure always looks rush. They dont listen to detail at all so dont dare stray from anything other then 1 simple color. Go anywhere else.
I love this nail salon. Tiffany always has the best color recommendations and works with such attention to detail. I always love my manicures and they last a long time!
Very good craftsmanship and extremely comfortable seating. My shellac was done very competently and is holding up very well.
This looks like another stripmall nail place, but they do a really good job. They are quick but they pay attention to detail. They are also really friendly. They also use a warm lotion when they do the hand massage and it is heavenly.
Hillary and Carol are lovely. I was able to go at lunch; they were fast and thorough.
They do a good job but its 100 dollars if you get a gel mani pedi, which is ridiculous because its not fancy AT ALL. I lived in NYC and this place would be a 60 max. I live close by so its convenient, but otherwise I would go elsewhere. The ladies are really nice and I would like to go more but its unaffordable.
Super quick, really precise. One of my favorite salons in the city. Very friendly staff - highly recommend.
The best. They do a great job. I moved out the city and still drive in to get my nails done here. Go here with Tiffany.
Good quality, a calmer place, great service! Money for value. Tiffany did gel mani, still perfect after 3 weeks! Will definitely be back! Ask Tiffany 👍.
This nail salon is nice but they do a crappy job when they are really busy. The older women cut my cuticles. She gripped my hands extremely tight and seemed extremely forceful. The paint job was not that great. This is disappointing because I’ve been coming to this salon for a long time since I live in the area. This was just my experience give it a go if you please.
I would not go here, I do not recommend it. 100$ for a mani/pedi and not GEL? A total scam. My nails were ruined by the time I got home because they rushed my drying.
Very nice setting, but the quality of my nails are horrible! I have never had a worse set of gels. 😿 The lady who did my nails wasnt even covering my entire nail. I had to remind her three times, and I pointed out that they were wrinkling. She put layer after layer over it without letting them dry all the way. Its been one week and 6/10 of my nails are peeling off at the tips. Not a happy experience.
My gel manicure came off after 4 days, when I came back to them they replied that it was normal. They charged me for removing the leftover varnish. The woman who removed my varnish was coughing and looked pretty sick. Very unpleasant experience.
The picture speaks for itself. These will be your feet after a “pedicure” at this place.. the same as before, and you’ll leave with just a really expensive polish change!
Terribly unfriendly and bad customer service especially from the boss. Didn’t tell me the price before hand after enquiring and then asked for $80 for gel nails.
Good place 👍. And Tiffany do perfect job.
👍🏻. Great nail salon, friendly staffs, Tiffany did my nails, and that lasted me three weeks of each time!
A bad place I’ve ever met. $27.00 for pedicure, with 15 minutes. The girl named Hillary did not do anything for me. Utensils are very dirty and are left in the toilet. I never go back to this place anymore.👎
Super friendly
Closed sundays :/
