I had a lovely experience at Silk today. It was recommended by a friend and I wasn’t disappointed. Great colour variety, they remembered and used my name, the chair where comfy, the service was very thoughtful. Already looking forward to my next treatment.

Just gonna leave the photo here. I got hot oil manicure on Friday (today is Wednesday following week). Just noticed my cuticles today. I usually come to the salon because it’s clean but the quality of manicure this time was … as you can see for yourself.

Best hot oil manicure and pedicure ever as far as Im concerned. This was my first visit there. And it definitely wont be my last! Well worth it! Id suggest to call in advance to make an appointment.

Went to this place yesterday and I left so satisfied! I wanted a specific kind of holographic color on my nails which is difficult to achieve and the owner made certain that I got exactly what color I wanted by testing it a few different times which was very kind of her. The owner is very sweet and made my friends and I feel welcome and the customer service was the best! I will definitely be coming back!

This is and always has been one of the best places in SF for mani/pedi and waxing services! Amid the pandemic the owner has taken extra steps for the health and safety of her clientele and staff with an air purification system, plexiglass dividers for each service station and an abundance of hand sanitizer and gloves available throughout. Signage is posted reminding clients to use hand sanitizer and/or gloves when choosing polishes as well as wash hands on arrival. There is a dedicated member of the team continuously cleaning and sanitizing high touch areas, seating and service areas, supplies, etc. All of this is accomplished while maintaining the high quality service and comfort SILK is known for.

I’ve been going to this spa for about 5 years. The best wax specialists are here. Owned and operated by a woman. They have exceptional manicure and pedicure. Attention to detail all around.

Great salon especially for the value. They are very gentle with your hands and feet, take their time and do a good job. Salon is clean, decor is nice. Great neighborhood spot with reasonable prices and good service.

They do a great job and the guy (owner?) at the front is really nice and runs a tight ship! I can usually get a same day appointment if I call in the morning. I really like their long hand massages and the fact they usually run on time :)

Amazing service. My feet feel so smooth! and polish looks perfect. Plenty of snacks for when your appointment is lengthy. Also even provided Diet Coke for me while I waited!

Got a gel manicure and regular pedicure over the weekend. Super clean and nice shop, plus they do a beautiful job! Way more relaxing that Sensi around the corner. Definitely will be going back here.

I LOVE this place!Ive only been there twice, but each time I showed a picture from a magazine of the style I want and wham its done.Ken is the only one Ill make an appointment with, for my nails. Hes definitely an artist & amazing.

This is my second time getting my nails done by Sarah. She is super sweet and attentive to details. Im so satisfied with her great work and will keep continuing to go back to only her.

Sarah is very skilled, focused, personalized, and caring manicurist. Free parking is available in the gated area with a security guard on site. I would recommend to make an appointment with her since her schedule gets filled out quickly. Highly recommended!

Very relaxing every time I go here. Environment is pleasant, workers are friendly. They always do quality work.

Cleanliness is very important to me in a salon and this place tops them. Every tool comes from a sealed pack so you know its been sanitized. They have comfy massage chairs if you get a pedicure. The experience of Mani+pedi is sooooo relaxing (I wont spoil it all, just try it).

Ive been going here for years. They are very pricy for services but you get quality and most important to me cleanliness. I only have gotten my waxes here but I made sure before I first start going here that they dont double dip and they dont! Havent had any problems after waxes so I keep coming back!

Ive been going here for years. The pedicure is a relaxing, indulgent experience, lasting about an hour. Nail aesthetician is top notch. In addition, they offer a bowl full of candies when you walk in the door, plus tea and water. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great neighborhood nail salon! They are typically pretty busy but walking in is possible if its not the weekend. They do a great job and have a huge selection of polish including ysl and Chanel.

Yes Blk people do go to silk. My family and I been going for many many years and everytime I go (every two weeks) I feel loved and pampered always.. I Love Silk...Im going for life...If you never been to silk please do yourself a favor and go!!!

Fantastic place! I was visiting from out of town, but found this through a search. Wow, I got lucky! Kelly was great to handle my fingernails of sadness and took the time to make them beautiful, just in time for meetings and conferences.

I just had one of the best mani/pedis ever! They put on tons of warm lotion and massage for a long time! They are so friendly and efficient! The chairs are so comfortable. They have candy by the dryers! Im extremely impressed!

The best pampering i have had in a nail salon for years. Most places these days seem to want to get you in and out as quickly as possible...not Silk. Loved it!

Wonderful spot to get a manicure and pedicure. They use a metal pot for your feet that have flower petals inside them, all pretty! The chairs are comfy and the women are exceptional at what they do. The temperature of the water and warm lotion are so relaxing. Its $55 for the mani/pedi, but worth it. They take their time and are very detailed. I am definitely coming back. Just make sure to wear sandals and bring CASH for tips (you can pay with credit, but tips in cash only)!

Don’t be afraid of this salon! I have acrylic nails and I swear I have never had a better set. A little more expensive but I have had bad nails that have made me want to give up on them.So go with peace of mind this place is great!

They are more expensive than average, but thats not the reason why I give them one star. Ive been doing gel manicure for many years and tried multiple places in SF as well as in several other cities / countries. This was the worst quality of the gel manicure I ever remember having: the polish started chipping literally on the second day on several (!) of my nails. This never had happened before: I usually wear gel manicure for weeks with no peeling/chipping whatsoever. Would not go again.

I have only been their for waxing (not nails) so my review is specific to that service. Very quick, thorough, professional wax---T was friendly and talked just enough. But by far the best part is the price. Its such an amazing deal on bikini/brazilian wax! You just cant beat $35-$40 for a brazillian wax!

I used to go here to get acrylic fills regularly. The ladies who work there were very rude and always flat out asked for tip, tip has to be cash; card is not available. Plus their prices for a fill were ridiculous. $35 for a fill plus a tip ? Thats ridiculous.

My toes are always gorgeous and they last about a month.
