Great first time here! Both my mani and pedi technicians were very gentle, especially on my hands where I tend to pick at my cuticles. It’s been years since I sprung for a pedicure, so I was so glad that Tully(sp?) gave me a good filing and scrub down. As for my nails, Le turned my bitten up fingertips into sleek gelled up gems. Thanks ladies! I’ll be back ❤️

Scheduled at 730 and ended up for nothing, the receptionist did not even bother to give us the heads up, she should have not scheduled us in the first place if she knew already that they got behind...

Great find! Walked in. Ladies were nice and efficient. Nicole was lovely and did a great job! The salon is clean. I was able to relax and just enjoy a spa pedicure. Ill be coming back.

Honestly the best nail place I’ve been to in the city. The staff is wonderful and talented. I’ve only once had a disappointing experience and they didn’t charge me at all for the entire visit (I had a manicure and pedicure and only had an issue with the manicure). Just make sure you book a day or two in advance if you want to go on a Saturday because they’re a popular spot!

The experience and staff were good overall, but the quality was not great. I waited for my nails to dry for 30 minutes but the polish was so thick. As soon as I left they were completely ruined and lasted 1 day.

Small shop, but super clean. They offer you something to drink as soon as you sit down. All the people I interacted with were super nice and pleasant. Great people watching outside on Hayes while you relax getting your manicure and/or pedicure. Really easy to make appointments online. The only thing I wish it had was massage chairs to sit in!

LUX SF definitely ups the game on nail salons. Its chic and quiet, and as you enter your offered a number of different beverages (champagne, water, juice, soda, etc.) to make you comfortable.Appointments can be kind of scarce, but my nails look so good after leaving here and the polish lasts a while (almost 2 weeks) that if you book enough in advance you wont have to hassle having your nails done every week. They also always have the latest/greatest polishes.

Everything, and I mean everything, is flawless. From the service, to the location, to the decor, and lastly to every encounter with any employee. I was offered tea or champagne when I walked in, and that set the tone for the entire visit. I have never seen so many on trend, chic colors in one salon. My only regret is that I only got a pedicure. It is relaxing, cool, fun, and social all at the same. I already cant wait to go back.

Reliable nail salon with a high priority on sanitation and service and a high-end polish selection. Pricier than the average nail salon but worthwhile to know everything is very clean and work is done with care. I’ve seen lots of walk-ins turned away (it’s a small place), so make sure to make a reservation ahead of time — it is very easy to do online.

Always love the service here and the fact that you can have bubbly while you get your nails done. One of my favorite places to catch up with girlfriends! Also *love* nail color selection they have here - so fun!

I‘ve been here a couple of times and loved their service, especially their manicures. However, a couple of weeks ago I tried gel here for the first time. Getting it done was great, but removing it was horrible. It’s not the first time I do gel, but they totally destroyed the surface of my nails whilst removing the gel. I have a feeling, they didn’t leave the nail polish remover on long enough and started scratching right away. I know it’s my fault, I should have stopped the lady from doing it, but I thought I could trust her, assuming she knows what she is doing. Honestly next time I can simply remove it myself saving the money, because my nails are as damaged as if I had scratched it off myself.

Perfect pedicure. The place is smallish and I observed the front desk having to turn walk-ins away because theyre busy and popular so just make an appointment online, its simple on their site.

Enjoyable experience at the time, but the quality was very poor. I had a gel manicure done a week ago and it is already peeling off the majority of my nails. Not even remotely worth the $60.

Lux nails is the best! I had a wonderful experience ! I am visiting the city and needed a pedicure badly. I am very picky and only go to my nail tech in Atlanta ! Gratefully, Q at Lux Nails assisted me and she was very friendly, patient & did a great job on my feet!!!! I now have a go to in San Fran! Thanks Lux nails & Q!!!

Friendly and punctual service. Nice massage with manicure with hot towels but the manicure itself wasnt good. My nails are not an even shape but she did apply the gel polish very well and was a very friendly manicurist. Uncomfortable but very good pedicure, she really put effort into it and I appreciate it. I just wish they had actual pedicure stations with taller chairs.h Im tall and sitting in a low chair in a cramped place doing a Mani pedi at the same time was just uncomfortable. Very cramped and messy place. Would give the place a second chance with different manicurist.

The most delightful manicure experience I’ve ever had. They’ve spoiled me rotten. I would let my fingernails grow into aged yellow spirals rather than go anywhere else.

My boyfriend and I tried this place and were pretty disappointed with our mani pedis which started chipoing the best day. The location is great and the staff is friendly but I might look to other options in the area for a longer lasting nail job.

Terrible experience. During my pedicure she cut my foot and tried to pretend it didn’t happen until I said it was stinging and she apologised. For my manicure I got gel nails so they would last, they started chipping after 2 days!! Overpriced and you are paying for the fancy environment not the quality of the service.

Because Bella is the best. I’m a local and have been going to LUXSF since day 1. It’s clean and always on time. Tge products are top of the line. Tge gel is natural seaweed. I like tge owner and Desiree and Kenya are the best. There’s very little turn over with employees and that’s a testament to being a really nice place to work. I appreciate the late hours. I like that there are little to no walk ins. Champagne 🥂 is my favorite drink!

Theyve always done a good job on my nails

I was not able to make a same day reservation online (all booked up), but when I stopped in, the owner was able to fit two of my friends and I in later that same afternoon for manis/pedis. Loved the unique color selections, and the owner went out of his way to tell me that the color I chose was new and from a designer in Europe (go figure)! Got the feeling he takes a lot of pride in the quality and selection of the salons products.There were no air dryers but the polish seemed to set fast enough that it wasnt an issue. Bonus points that the owner knew all the dirt on recently opened (and coming soon) restaurants in the hood.

Manicure fell apart in less then 24 hours peeling back on every nail.Host was rude. Horrendous attitude it was an experience akin to dealing with a bad plane trip ... you are stuck and miserable with horrendous attitudes all around.

Super friendly staff, comfortable experience, but paid top dollar ($65 for gel removal and gel manicure together) for a gel manicure that chipped within 4 days.

I got a gel manicure on Saturday... 5 of my nails have already chipped. Never going back.

I came here for a mommy-daughter mani-pedi. It was my little girls first mani-pedi and she was pretty excited. I wanted it to be special and chose this place because it was supposed to be somewhat great. Shocker!!!! The technicians Bill and Michelle were so rude to my child and scowled at her the entire time. When she showed them the emoji design she wanted they kept muttering under their breath to each other and made her feel stupid. Eventually she she said she didnt want it but I insisted and had the lady at the desk talk to them. They told my child many times they didnt have time to do it unless I paid extra and even when I agreed, they still kept scowling and muttering! I kept a smile on my face and kept thanking them. I even tipped 20% for nastiness and shoddy service. Still no smile! At the end of it all, the emoji was all smudged and poorly done!!!No one should be treated that way, especially not a 6 year old! The whole experience cost me $138 and I can say I wont be going back. Neither should anyone else!!!!

I would not give this place a second chance because for one you would think for the price you would get your toe nails shaped perfectly.like they do in L.A. Second Diana was very passive aggressive she was kind but knew she was not going to do her best.so I rather through the whole salon away.I hated my toes she still left the toe nails with unfiled.
