Stay away from this doctor! I can’t even call him a doctor since he has absolutely no knowledge of a human body. I came to him with a bad acne rush on my chest, neck and back in February 2020. Instead of getting into the root of a problem like checking my hormones, stomach flora or doing food allergy tests, he just prescribed heavy antibiotics twice a day for 2 months, which would completely ruin my system!!!! I am so glad I have a common sense and didn’t not follow his advice. I kept having those crazy rushes for a year until I went to Russia and the doctors who do have common sense and a knowledge sent me to do all kinds of test to see what was off in my body. It turned out that I have a bad allergy for red meet with a combination of a lack of good bacteria in my stomach which is caused by consumption of alcohol. My skin is absolutely clean now, I just stay away from red meat and alcohol and taking probiotics daily. Shame on you, Steven He!!!!

Dr. Austin has changed my life. My skin has significantly cleared up since I started seeing her, I RARELY get any pimples now and thanks to treatments like the Vbeam laser and TCA cross my scarring is very limited. All the staff and Dr. Austin are friendly and kind, it’s always a good experience going in. Dr. Austin remembers details about my life even when I don’t see her for months at a time. I recommend her to any of my friends who ask for skincare advice. My only complaint is that I didn’t start coming here sooner; I didn’t realize what a big difference having a dermatologist approved skincare routine would make!!

I just cant say enough about Dr. Welsh and her team. Everyone who took care of me was super patient and knowledgeable. Dr Welsh answered all my questions - a lot of questions - and recommended a treatment plan. She and her team were all very kind and I feel like they really took the time to make sure I was comfortable. The experience couldnt have been better.

I cannot recommend Bay Area Cosmetic more to anyone!... I fly all the way from Manhattan for my treatment here. Dr. Hui is not only an incredible doctor, but her bedside manners are immeasurable and so comforting. The treatment I’ve had here far surpasses other treatments I’ve had before. I fly cross country specifically for her specialty care and precise hands, so it’s the talent and care at this dermatology center that is so worth the wait and travel! During Covid, I had a visit yesterday with Dr. Kathleen Welsh and her nurse, Cynthia, for beauty injections as well as a process to remove the redness from roascia and broken blood vessels in my face. My experience was wonderful. I was greeted by an assistant in a mask and facial shield at the door who took my temperature. I felt Covid safe in the patient room. All the assistance wore masks. Everybody who treated my face was wearing a mask and shield. My appointment time was honored and I was properly escorted to my patient room. Naturally, the results from my visit are beautiful! I also appreciate Cynthias sound advice on products to use on my face, as she is very knowledgeable and goes into depth on my morning and evening facial routine. I trust Dr. Walsh with her advice regarding the products to use for my injections, and most importantly, I am extremely satisfied with the results.!!!

Hands down the best facial experience Ive ever had. Jennifer is very skilled and was extremely thorough in her explanations of the products and processes. She always made sure to tell me that she sanitized all of the tools prior to application. The facial massage and technique used during the facial is super lifting and felt GREAT! She also used a cryo machine post extractions and toner to close my pores. Would definitely come back.

This place is very clean and nice. The staff here are very friendly. I got the package deal and this place is amazing. As you get the treatment and facial here, you can tell its healing very well after the first treatment. My face cleared up of acne and acne scars. Thank you guys for the amazing service and treatment!

Ive done the coolsculpting treatment last year in May at the Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology center. When the consultation and the procedure went well (even if one side of my legs didnt work as expected and wasnt as cold as the other side when she removed the machine) and the service was nice (which is what you expect when you pay such an important amount of money for a one-time treatment), the after care and follow up was extremely disappointing. The doctor was supposed to call me a month later to check in on the first results and make sure that I was doing well...Im still waiting for the call. No one never EVER followed up on me, verified that the results were satisfying...Ive also called them the next day as I lost a piece of jewel during the treatment and someone was supposed to check in and get back to me...again, still waiting for my ring back. I wont recommend this place for a coolsculpting treatment.

My Coolsculpting procedure was performed by Dr. Kathleen Welsh performed by Bay Area Body. I had an amazing experience with them. I felt welcomed and taken care of, and the expertise of the doctors was clear and made me feel safe. The outcome of the procedure was noticeable! My stomach fat and lovehandle fat has decreased drastically. I have never had the experience of a flat lower belly before, and Coolsculpting really changed that! I would recommend these service providers highly. I highly recommend Dr. Welsh and her office!

I am so pleased with Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology! I currently see Dr. Hui and use several of Dr. Welshs products. My skin has been transformed!I moved to San Francisco earlier this year and was in need of a new dermatologist and I am so happy to have found Dr. Hui! I am extremely pleased with all the treatments and medical advice I have received from her and her assistants. She listens closely to my questions and concerns each time I see her and goes out of her way to make sure I am comfortable during my procedures.I went to see Dr. Hui for the first time for Botox a February. This is a procedure Ive had done several times before elsewhere. First of all, the Botox looked amazing! There was no need to touch up and it looks very natural. Secondly, she introduced me to a more permanent way to keep the wrinkles away--Retin A. I was a little hesitant to try Retin A again after having a terrible experience with it when I used it for acne as a teenager. However, Dr. Huis method of application was so gentle, I was able to tolerate the Retin A without any problems!Dr. Hui currently helped me transition over to a new skincare regimen when I found out I was pregnant to keep my skin looking at its best and Im so happy when I look in the mirror!I am very thankful to have found such a knowledgeable and caring dermatologist. Ive been seeing a dermatologist since I was 12 years old because of cystic acne that covered my head neck, and shoulders (which is long gone!) Im very careful with my skincare routine and the dermatologists I choose. Dr. Hui is extremely caring and knowledgeable and I highly recommend her and Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology.

I type this from the treatment room. Its 95 minutes after my scheduled appointment time and still no doctor. Shes good but nobody is that good. This is not the first time Ive had to wait longer than an hour.
