Don’t use LaserAway. Not any location, they are horrible. They are not about:1. Honesty. Honesty is not there2. It’s all about making a quick buck3. Not what’s in the best interest of client4. Why do have sales people? Your sales People sound like sleezy car guys5. Pay first before service? Sounds like a fast food joint to me6. Why do I have to speak to 3 different people before I can reach anyone at the actual center?I went back to my Mom and Pop owned Medspa. Check out Serenity Medspa in SF and Burlingame instead. No sleezy car sales people there. Also they are so much more honest than LaserAway.

I have been wanting to do laser hair removal for quite some time, but it honestly just seemed like it would take forever to do all the areas I wanted to do, and break up in a way I could afford. I was also concerned about doing it right if I was going to do it. I spoke with Kayla at the Union Street location, and she listened to my concerns. She explained that I could get all of the areas done at the same time (1 appointment/3 areas), pay monthly to break it up, and that the treatment would be tracked, and the laser would be properly adjusted based off the tracking of my treatment with them. I’m about a third of the way through, and I can see the results already, I’m excited that by summer, I will be done with treatment, and not packing a razor on vacation! So happy I did it!

Hopefully I’m not going to raise the prices by doing this, but it’s a great place. Been coming here about 6-7 years to do hair removal. Works amazing. Tried other places and tried electrolysis. This is the least painful, and this is by far the most effective.Also do my botox here.Again, I come here for the great prices and the girls in there are always great. Great HR guys. Good job!!

My last session was excellent. It was my fourth and the nurse took her time and paid attention to details. My previous 3 were very quick and seemed like a lot of spots were missed. I’m so far happy with the results, but am also keeping in mind I will likely need full 8 sessions to be satisfied. It also depends on who is doing the laser as well.

Daniel, one of the receptionists was INCREDIBLE. Will tell you everything you need to know and answers questions based on his own experience with the products and what he thinks will benefit you. He definitely makes your experience fun! This is my second time at laseraway and every nurse ive had did a great job and made the experience as quick and easy as possible. 10/10 experience every time

The worst experience I had. Very poor service. They only care about reviews and new customers. After 6 month I can tell that almost everything back like it was before.

They burned my arm with the laser & on top of that there hair removal packages were WAY overpriced! I saw minimal results. Every appointment I scheduled they had me see a different technician which was very uncomfortable. I suggest you all find something more affordable on Groupon. Read the reviews and do your research on what laser is BEST suited to your skin tone. This was place was horrible I don’t recommend it at all and I’m pretty sure they work for commission up at the front desk.🚫AVOID at all costs your pockets will thank you.

Please stop accepting new patients when you can not support the current ones!!!! I had an emergency come up and had to cancel my appointment week of and was informed the next available appointment was 6 weeks away and this is how it usually is. Not worth the stress!

Outstanding experience! Ive been a client of laseraway for more than a year back in L.A. and I want to say that the treatment ive got at this SF location cannot compare with any of the other visits. Janette was simply amazing!!! She was extremely professional and followed my feedback on specific areas. The booking process was spot on! Its a pity I didnt get all the sessions done here! I wouldnt have recommended Laseraway to anyone, considering the L.A. experience. This location completely changed my mind.Thank you.

I went to Laser Away to get my first laser hair removal ever! I was completely suprised and blown away. The process was a breeze and now I have super smooth skin. Everyone I met with was extremely friendly and helpful. Ill definitely be going back if it means no more shaving!

Their prices are not listed online and after months of requests for an itemized receipt, I was not given one. I was over charged when I only received part of my treatment and told I had agreed to a certain price when I signed up. No legitimate business operates like this. There should be a signed agreement or itemized receipt. Save your time and money and go to a dermatologist or other business. It seems scammy.

Laseraway is a very clean and nice place with warm customer service and great specialists. They have great deals and promotions often too. Would definitely recommend to others!

My treatment didnt work. I got laser hair removal for my underarms, bikini (brazilian), and face, and it only slightly slowed the growth. I was told I was an ideal candidate since I have light skin and dark hair, but that didnt seem to make a difference. Its also WAY more painful than you might think. Its more painful than getting tattooed, and the laser treatment on my upper lip zapped the nerves in my teeth which was absolutely excruciating and made me unable to finish treatment in that area. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is that the facility is clean and the staff is kind. Overall, not worth the time, pain, and money.

Overall excellent accomodation, good technicians and friendly staff. I had laser hair removal and the efficacy of treatment is just really hard to beat.I recommend to all my friends to escape from the world of ingrowns and shaving.

I am 57 years old and wanted to evenout my skin tone. I decided to have an IPL treatment. It’s only been one week since my first treatment but I can already see that my sun spots and freckles on my face and chest are lighter and lifting!! So happy I decided to get it done. All the staff were friendly and I loved all the nurses at LaserAway!! I have to thank Niesha,Susi, Kristen and Janette! Thank you again!

My biggest complaint is how unprofessional the staff seems. The few nurses that spoke with me had awful bed side manners and there was a clear lack of knowledge around services.

Do NOT go to Laser Away! I cannot stress enough how angry I am with this place. First, they said that I have to come for consultation first, even though I told them I’ve been doing laser before. So, I travel all the way from Berkeley. At the consultation they tell me about their equipment etc., which I could easily read online, total waste of my time. Then they make my first appointment after 2 weeks. Again, I travel 2 hours hoping I will finally get the treatment. But then they say that I have to talk to nurse first, who says that I have to get test on a small area because of medications I am on. I told them abt those medications both on the form and in consultation. WHY didn’t you tell me then? Are you kidding meu? Are you playing with people? When I express my dissatisfaction, they say it’s protocol. I ask for a manager or a supervisor, and guess what?! Apparently, there is none. I waste 5 hours each time, and tgey couldn’t care less. Good thing I only bought groupon and not the actual price.

Impossible to change appointment, you need to book 2 months in advance. Weak laser. I dont think i will get rid of my tattoo within 6 treatments ($1000). It takes 5 mins per treatment but its impossible to book. Scam!

Would give the a zero star if I could. First off I purchased a groupon for 3 session and went into their store to redeem it and they straight up lied to me. Told me that they didnt accept them there even though it clearly showed their address on the groupon. After arguing with them for a while they finally relented and accepted it but tried to make me purchase an upgrade to complete the treatment. Once I declined and said I wanted to see what my 3 treatments looked like they were super rude and treated me like a pest. Three session in and done but nothing changed at all. The laser hasnt made any difference. Waste of money and rude liars. Take your business to a place someplace else, this place and company are a joke

Do not go here for tattoo removals, I saw hardly any change in my tattoo after 5 treatments and $800. If I could go back I would not have had this done here. I tried Serenity med spa and saw more fading in one treatment with them than in 5 with lazer away. The nurse also told me he’s been helping a lot of people that came from lazer away with the same experience. They charge you for packages of 5 or 10 treaments so theres no going back once you see how minimal the results are. What a scam. My tattoo looks almost the same just baaaarely noticeable difference. Not worth it.

I was told I had to book a consultation prior to booking my treatment, I took the time, came in and booked an appointment for the following weekend. I was told I would receive a text confirmation/reminder the day before, I never did get a text so I called only to hear that there was 0 appointment scheduled!! This is RIDICULOUS! Furthermore Im now waiting to hear from the Director...honestly this is super frustrating that due to someone else incompetence I suffer.

The worst mistake that I ever made in my life, not recommended I pay a lot of money for 8 sessions and they never ever have flexible appointments, last treatment was not even effective . Really disappointed .
