The kind welcome and professionalism provided by Dr Lebo and her assistant Bernadette during the treatment were remarquable.I felt confident the office put in place all the new safety guidelines to minimize the risk of exposure.

I need a LOT of dental work done. I havent been to the dentist in a while due to a few bad experiences (and being a bit lazy, Ill admit). That said, Dr. Vaksman clearly explained all of my options, and was never judgmental or pushy.She and her staff provide a 5 star experience, and Im scratching my head as to what any other reviewers are even talking about with negative reviews. Its a medical/dental office people...wait times are not abnormal and billing issues happen - get over it! What matters is that you are properly cared for (which, here, you most certainly are!), and that any issues are competently resolved.

I thought that with almost 5 stars this place would have great customer service and care about their patients. Unfortunately, the receptionist isnt helpful, cant provide instructions on getting to the office, but I made it on time. Now Im waiting 45-minutes to be seen after my initial appointment time. Lets see what else goes wrong.

I had Invisalign here and loved my experience. The staff was soooo nice, the music was great, and the view from a high floor looking of the city was terrific. I was happy to go for appointments. I received great care and my teeth looked nice at the end.

Be cautious about billing. A receptionist overcharged me and didnt provide good explanation and prompt resolution. But Kim, the lady in billing office, latter called me regarding my issue and she had been extremely helpful.Note that theres a $25 release fee to get a copy of images for your paid x-ray as its the office policy. But Kim is nice enough to waive it for me.

Staff are extremely helpful and informative about check up. I like that the dentist did the cleaning and spent time explaining potential risks, preventative care. Would recommend to others!

Terrible. They will charge you 25$ just to release your own xrays which you already paid for. It’s sad a dentist office doesn’t want to release your own personal records just because you want to take your business elsewhere. Really shows their character and thus proves why I would never go with them. They pressure you to get work done even if you go just for a cleaning. Save your money and Groupons people.

What can I say, Dr. V and her staff are awesome. They are extremely accommodating and exceptionally friendly! Oh, ..and gentle ;) What more could you ask for?

Dr. Vaksman has cleaned, filled, and even replaced my teeth! Ive had great experiences each time. The veneers on the teeth I broke in childhood finally look good, and just like the real thing! I recommend her any chance I get.

Ive had extensive work done at Dr. Vaksmans office and the experience is always much more satisfying than any dentist visit I ever remember having before! Thank you!

If I could give a rating of zero or negative stars I would. I went to this person because they had good yelp and google reviews and because office was in a convenient location. So I write this review to give others the warning I never got. This person is deceitful and drilled 2 unnecessary holes in my teeth I presume only for the money my dental insurance paid out.Let me start by saying by the age of 21 when I first started seeing Irena Vaksman I had never had a cavity in my life. My teeth have always been healthy and even during my more unhygienic years of 18 and 20 I never once had a problem with my teeth. That is until I started going to this Dental Office.I was told I had a cavity, she pointed to some greyish little speck on a tooth x-ray that really could have been anything, and since Im not a dentist nor an expert I took her word for it. Sure Id never had one before, perhaps this was long overdue, perhaps even a right of passage as a person, I mean we all get cavities right? So I took it on good faith and had the cavity filled.A year goes by, now Im 22, and Im told I have another cavity. Well this is just so very interesting now. Youre telling me that within a year I have 2 cavities when before Id never had one? Well again Im not an expect and again I go under the drill. This time she doesnt even perform the procedure she leaves it to some young dude Id never met before. Objectively their work was quick, relatively painless, and professional.Well now its been another year, Im 23 now and Im told I have a third cavity. WHAT!? Youre telling me with my increased diligence in dental care (both previous cavities where large enough blows to my ego to get me brushing and flossing religiously) that I am still getting cavities. A young healthy man who does not have a diet high in sugar or starch and has never had a history of cavities. Well that was finally the last straw and so I finally did what I should have done in the first place and got a second opinion.I went to a dentist named Patrick McEvoy. He was a client (I film and edit videos for various businesses) and I knew first hand he had all the latest equipment since he catered to the tech crowd in the South Peninsula. Not only did he find no trace of a cavity, he said I had very healthy young teeth. I asked him if the other 2 cavities were necessary, he said he had no idea of knowing. Fine, I get that, so I dropped it. Decided not to write a review maybe she was just being overly careful or something.Fast forward to present day. I am now 28 about to turn 29, Ive had 2 more dentists since McEvoy, not that he was a bad dentist he was just really far away to get to. Not a single one of them has found a cavity since, both of them are professionals, and both also say I have healthy young teeth just like McEvoy said. Yet again I found myself at wits end when it comes to Dr. Irena Vacksman DDS. I dont know who you think you are or what your motivation was but it is deplorable to drill holes in another persons head on a whim, or for money, or really for any reason unless you work in a piercing shop. Thank you anyone who has taken the time to read my story, I hope this helps you in making an informed decision. Dont be like me and trust people just because they have letters after their name. Always get a second opinion if you feel something is fishy. There are soooo many talented dentists in the Bay Area. And remember San Francisco is a smaller city than you think and word of your actions will spread so always treat others as you would treat yourself or a family member. And if youre reading this Irena I hope you feel ashamed of yourself. Its sad because you actually are talented and do good work, its just too bad youre a duplicitous person and no amount of training can change that.-2 out of 5 stars for my 2 fillings and may god forgive you for I surely dont

I have had major dental problems for most of my life. Drs Vaksman and Volfson went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, to explain absolutely everything that needed to be done, and to help me out with an immediate dental issue. I am truly thankful to have found this great office. In addition to Drs.Vaksman and Volfson, every single member of the staff were friendly, accommodating, and truly went out of their way to be helpful. By far the best experience I have ever had!
